"San Marino 's is a place to dine in more often. It 's always good. Love they are selling house made pasta in coolers in the reception area now. We had to reorder their calamari with gorgonzola as well as the rabbit main with sweet peppers my partner always craves. I tried their braised shredded short rib with spinach, mushrooms and gorgonzola over risotto. It was okay a dish not really in their wheelhouse. Drinks, service, seating, all good. Bread took awhile to come to the table but they were very busy. Cappuccino always makes a fine finish. Another pleasant lunch here last week dining in the sun room. My partner ordered the Mozzarella en Carozza once again for a starter. Fried on the outside with melted cheese on the inside and served on warm tomato sauce. Each bite is worth savoring. His main was a Parmesan grinder with eggplant. The sandwich had multiple layers of thinly sliced fried eggplant, mozzarella and house sauce. Very good. I had the Stuffed Filet of Sole with a crabmeat spinach stuffing and vegetables on the side. It 's served with a garden salad (or a choice of soup). The fish was mild in flavor and a nice healthy choice. We ordered off the regular lunch menu but there are lunch specials each day, as well. Excellent meal at this established Waterbury restaurant this weekend. Our party of four ordered the following lunch menu items which were all delectable or delizioso in Italian: Fried calamari with gorgonzola and mozzarella en carozza. Both were above par and fine examples of how good these appetizers can be, though calamari continues to be an ongoing experiment for me in terms of subtle interpretations on the high side. The house bread came with bowls of olive oil and shredded parmesan. Two house salads came with the recommended house creamy pepper dressing, which was the right choice for us, another with blue cheese and a fourth with the caesar option our dining companion thought was worth two more dollars. Main dishes: Rigatoni alla vodka minus the prosciutto and with add on shrimp. Our friend from New Haven gave it a 4.5 star review. Penne triesta with chicken, asparagus, mushrooms, artichoke hearts and sundried tomatoes. Our friend 's wife gave it a five star review. Both were pasta dishes worth returning for again and are available on both San Marino 's lunch and dinner menus. Shrimp Florentine served over spinach. This entrée is perfectly cooked and for those avoiding carbs, a healthier choice that makes every bite enjoyable. Rabbit. My partner, who has eaten here many times, knew this was taken off the menu two or three years ago, but could still be asked for if requested. Usually served with hot peppers, he asks for sweet instead to not detract from the delicate flavor of the rabbit. Sliced roasted potatoes are the third component of this medley. Very full and satisfied, none of us wanted dessert or coffee, and there were plenty of leftovers. Our special menu drinks, a Maker 's Mark old fashioned, Hendricks cucumber cocktail and pear martini are all great examples which come from a talented bartender. San Marino Ristorante 's dinner menu has a few must have dining experiences that are not on the lunch menu that include salmon, steak, house made pasta and Tutto Mare For Two which is a large portion of mixed shellfish to share . Go online to see both. This is a large restaurant known for holding events of every kind and has a private dining room that holds 12 24 guests. Party size trays are also available for home take out."

"The restaurant boasts an extensive wine and dinner menu, making it challenging to decide which entrees to try. Ultimately, we ordered three dishes, each accompanied by either soup or salad: Sicilian grilled salmon, ziti with roasted chicken, and the pork belly pasta, which was a feature of their limited Pig Fest menu for October. While waiting for our main courses, we sampled the rice and chicken soup, which was light and flavorful. However, the grilled Caesar salad wedge was unappetizing and we chose to leave it untouched for the rest of our meal. Our waiter kindly divided the three entrees into two servings for us, and the portion sizes were generous. The Sicilian grilled salmon was quite tasty, and I especially enjoyed the accompanying couscous. The salmon, however, was a bit on the dry side but still acceptable. The ziti with roasted chicken and the pork belly pasta were less impressive, lacking sufficient flavor. To add to the disappointment, the pork belly pasta contained very few pieces of pork belly; I suspect inflation may have had an impact. Given that the pork belly was meant to be the highlight of the dish, its flavor was unfortunately lost in the tart tomato sauce it was served with. When it came time to settle the bill, our waiter generously treated us to some peanut butter chocolate chip gelato, which was delightful. Thankfully, neither my guest nor I had any allergies! As for my first experience at this popular Worcester restaurant, I left feeling somewhat underwhelmed. The ambiance, attentive wait staff, and prompt service were the standout aspects of the visit. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, allowing us to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed—though this was the extent of the positives. Overall, the food was merely average. This restaurant gives the impression of being an upscale Olive Garden in disguise, minus the warm breadsticks."

"Great Pizza, Great Place!!. I ate at Vinnie 's a few times when it was across the street in the little place. Even though the facility was old and run down their pizza was out of this world. I live on the other side of town so I 'm rarely over in the Herbertsville section.<br/ <br/ I was amazed with their new location across the street. I really couldn 't believe my eyes. This place is gorgeous PLUS the food is phenomenal (like it was before !! <br/ <br/ I 've had the pleasure of dinning at Vinnie 's new location twice, once June 28, 2009 and then again on July 16, 2009. Let me tell you I was impressed both times, which I might add it 's not an easy thing to do. My family and I had a wonderful dinner; the staff couldn 't have been nicer. They make you feel like family. The facility is clean my mother in law will not dine in a restaurant if she feels it 's dirty (neither will anyone else I know . The menu is loaded with classics and many new variations it 's difficult to make up your mind. Vinnie 's also offers 'Early Bird Dinner Specials ' which you don 't want to miss. The dishes are huge way too much for one person to eat by themselves which I like because I can have it again for lunch (and possibly dinner the next day. They have the best mozzarella sticks I 've ever had, and that 's no exaggeration. The salad is fresh and they offer a variety of dressings I love their ranch and house balsamic! The bread is great, soft and warm. Oh yeah, and the cheese cake, let 's not forget the cheese cake its wicked good! It 's as good as my mother 's (if that 's not a compliment I don 't know what is <br/ <br/ Overall, this is a great place for either the quick slice of pizza (they have a ton of specialty pies my favorite is the cheese steak pizza , ordering pies for take out or dinning in the dinning room. Whether it 's a family dinner (you 're finicky eater will be pleased , a group of friends or a romantic dinner for two, you will not be disappointed.<br/ <br/ Now of course you can 't always believe what you read (especially those comments left by the same individual makes you wonder, doesn 't it? so I suggest you have your own experience Try it and see for yourself...you 'll be glad you did."
