"I cannot recommend this restaurant, based on the food quality, poor value, and smoky atmosphere. I feel bad for the staff (who were polite), as it was obvious they were short staffed and overworked. The host was very nice, and so was our waiter, but she didn’t check on us very often. That was likely because they had her assigned to so many tables. The food was slightly below Carrabbas-level quality, but at double the price. A dinner for two (with tip), with one drink each, a small app, and two entrees will set you back a little more than $100. The entrees are small portions and the food was just okay. Also keep in mind the menu on OpenTable may be out of date (the Cello Drop cocktail is no longer on their menu). The atmosphere was loud and cigar smoke permeated the air. Unfortunately the restaurant is above a cigar shop and so that smell was pretty much everywhere. The layout is also strange and there appears to be other restaurants connected to it as we’d see servers bringing trays of sushi to other areas obscured by a thick black curtain. Just bizarre."

"This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case."

"The food was very good but the service was unpredictable and average and the ambiance was unfortunate looked liked wall decor from Hobby Lobby. It was a Saturday night and it was easy to get a reservation so we gave it a try. Nothing really bad in the reviews so we thought it was worth trying. And I can't say anything really bad either but I can't say anything great. It's too bad because we really enjoyed the food Giorgio's salad, a pasta dish, salmon and grouper. Pasta tasted homemade. Presentation of the main courses needs improvement and the side dishes should be plated with the main courses rather than delivered later on small plates. With so many great restaurants in Sarasota I doubt we ever go back"

"We had reservations for 6:00 pm. There was a large party, so we were not able to be seated since all of their servers were busy with this very large party. We were asked if we would like to sit at the bar to wait. We ordered a nicely made drink and a delicious appetizer. About a half hour later, we were told the large party had just gotten their food, and asked if we would like to eat at the bar instead of waiting for our table. I do not like eating at a bar, so we decided to wait. We finished our appetizer and drink and had to wait about another ten minutes, and then were shown to our table. The server was attentive and we both ordered the special, which was fabulous! This restaurant would have gotten the highest rating were it not for the inconvenience of waiting for our reservation. We were not given any compensation despite having to wait nearly an hour to be seated. A few more minutes at the bar and we would have gone elsewhere and missed a delicious dinner."

"The service and food were truly fantastic! My only concern was that five of us were crammed into a corner at a table meant for four. I had made a reservation several days ahead of time, and there were plenty of larger tables available throughout our visit. I felt we could have been seated at a more comfortable table, especially since we arrived early at 4:30. Despite this, we had a wonderful dinner overall! Thank you!"

"An incredible waterfront view with the best food in Key West. The staff from top to bottom is incredibly professional and polite. The staff smile all the time, never a moody look or lackluster attitude. The food is incredible, we were a table of and everyone kept talking about how they loved what they ordered. They have an excellent wine list and possibly the best martinis on the island. Compliments to the owner, and his staff, we will be back soon. Thanks for a great night out with family and friends!"
