"It's time to say goodbye (with a heavy heart!) to an outstanding chef, an exceptional person, and a wonderful server. This local gathering place will be sorely missed. The farewell event was bustling, and yet Bob Hurley and the entire staff continued to deliver the same high level of food, service, and warmth as always. It was truly one of the last great spots that felt welcoming to both locals and tourists. Furthermore, it was one of the few affordable dining options in Yountville for residents. Unfortunately, we've already lost Pacific Blues, which has been replaced by a clearly standardized establishment called Platform 8, and now we're bidding farewell to Hurley's across the street. After 22 years, perhaps it’s time to move on."
