"Last night was our second visit to this place, and unfortunately this meal was even worse than the first... Our waiter was inept and had no knowledge of the menu. Couldn't answer basic questions about the food, nor could he pronounce the strange French words. Yikes. They were out of the first two beers I ordered as well as the wine my wife ordered. Off to a great start, huh? We decided to bypass alcohol altogether, rather than continue this game... Our food order was messed up twice, and it took nearly 15 minutes to get the correct items on the table. The thing is, this place isn't cheap... there are better options out there. Thought this would be a welcome addition to Austin Street, but we were wrong. We will not be back."

I really enjoyed the flying pig. Just wish they had more bar foods.

The brunch is a fantastic deal, but if you're looking for something straightforward, just go for the burger. Prices can escalate quickly.

18.95 for a hanger steak, slab bacon, 1 fried cornmeal batter oyster, 2 eggs, potatoes AND 2 (delicious) **** marys?? Yup! It was all prepared perfectly and was excellent eating. My only complaint ? Do NOT bring a vegetarian. They will be displeased! I will definitely go back for brunch.

My wife and I tried this place for brunch and were quite pleased. The food was very good and my wife really liked the make your own **** Mary bar. Reasonably priced as well with two drinks. My only complaint is that it was cold in the restaurant. Their cutlery is also very chintzy. We are going to have our birthday brunch there next month with approx. 20 guests. View menu

The atmosphere was definitely bar like but there were also many small children. Seemed odd. The food was fine burgers and limited other dishes. I had the chicken breast with the duck fries. I found nothing remarkable either good or bad. The only thing I really did not like was the soft pretzel appetizer with cheese dip. Same soft pretzels and cheese wiz that can be had at most street carts but a bit more expensive at $8.00. Service was OK. Needed to ask for things like salt that should have been provided without asking. Otherwise fine.

I've visited The Flying Pig a few times before, usually just for drinks, and I've always enjoyed their extensive beer selection. Recently, I decided to host a birthday brunch there for a party of 20. I couldn't have asked for better service. Everything was perfect, and I have no complaints at all. Our server, Jose, was incredibly attentive, professional, and really on the ball. My guests had a fantastic time, and everyone was happy! This experience truly exceeded my expectations. Additionally, Declan reached out to me several times to confirm my reservation and check if I had any questions. He ensured that everything for my brunch was set up on time and ran smoothly. Thank you, Flying Pig!
