"We hosted our wedding last month at Millwright's and are still on cloud nine from such a special day! We cannot say enough wonderful things about Millwright's and our experience. Ashley and the team made our wedding dreams come true, and Ashley helped create the most amazing experience for our family and friends. Our guests still rave about our wedding and the professionalism and friendliness of the staff at Millwright's! From our ceremony in the loft, to cocktails and passed appetizers enjoyed throughout the space, to dinner in the main dining room, to dancing in the tavern, every element went off without a hitch. We enjoyed many of our favorite dishes and so many of our guests commented that is was the best meal they had ever eaten (a few favorites included the mini lobster rolls, the meatballs, the johnny cakes, the steak frites, and the olive oil cake and brownie dessert). It was a spectacular day and we would highly recommend Millwright's for a wedding or your next private event."

"Where do I begin? My first visit to this restaurant was for brunch, and I love brunch so much that I wanted to come back to celebrate my birthday. This place is now on my favorites list! "We went to the restaurant for brunch on Sunday at 12:30. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The only downside was that the waiter appeared to be more focused on attending to all customers rather than sticking to assigned sections, which resulted in slow service. However, overall the service was good and friendly. This was my first time dining there and I am looking forward to visiting again."

"Great atmosphere and decor, very good northern Italian food and other diverse selections, excellent appetizers and charcuterie, surprisingly large well prepared portions, amazing bread, responsive service, but, sadly a self inflicted wound on the wine by a restaurant that calls itself a wine bar. Wine should be stored and served at 55 to 65 degrees. This is challenging for many restaurants who will hover around room temperature. Unfortunately, the bottle we ordered, a well selected unusual norther Italian gem, was nowhere near even that. It was every bit of 80 degrees. Literally warm to the touch as if it were close to bright lights or the kitchen. We had to put it in the water bottle chiller. At this temperature, for any length of time, wine “cooks”, a trade term indicating spoilage. Unfortunately, ours was close to “cooked” indicating long term poor hot storage. This is sad because Esca has a smartly selected list with some delightful options. It makes no sense why they would invest in very nice wines and then undermine them. We thought maybe it was our bottle alone but we saw other reviews complaining about the warm wine. The average customer might not notice but anyone with any wine expertise will. Please Esca, fix this.We would like to come back for your delightful food but frankly, we would be hesitant to order another bottle.What an unnecessary loss…"

"I really wanted to love this place but it came up short. The french onion soup was so salty it was inedible. The waiter asked what I thought of the soup and when I told him all he said was sorry. No offer of something else or not charging me for something I couldn't eat. They do a weird thing with their butter where it sits in olive oil and is drizzled with balsamic. I think they think this is sophistcated but it's just a strange mix. My wife had the halibut bites that were ok but salty....just not as salty as my soup. I had the border burguer which was good. The only thing was that I asked that the aioli be placed on the side but it came spreas on both buns. The fries were also very good. The waiter was extremely softspoken and we couldn't hear half of what he said."

"First time here and really enjoyed ourselves! Buffalo wings were DAM GOOD!!!! Waffle was good too not overpowering with toppings and strawberries were FRESH! Caesar salad was large but very fresh and tasty! Everything was fresh. Waiters were very friendlyand helpful. We kind of stumbled into the lady who served us because the first waiter may not have wanted to. It worked outbecause our waiter was good and very attentive. Lastly I was not paying attention when paying my bill by card and intended onleaving a 10.00 tip but it totaled 16. The employee who rang us up immediately came into the parking lot searching for us. Notknowing why she was outside I honked and yes she wanted to alert me that I left a larger tip than I may have thought. I askedthe lady to leave it alone and give the waiter the entire tip. I truly appreciate the honesty and professionalism beyond wordsand would definitely recommend this place for good food and honest service!"

"I live in Las Vegas and our friends introduced us to Manhattan about 11 years ago when they lived in Palm Springs. Now they live in Pomona and had a hankering for Matzo Ball Soup which was funny because my husband and I had been talking about it not too long ago. After a phone call and email, we found out they had outdoor dining, we hopped in the car just to go get soup!!! It is seriously some of the best matzo ball soup we have had and it was worth the drive. We even ordered some to go for our son who also loves it, but wasn't with us. Corned beef sandwich was so tender as usual. But the soup, oh man."

"Have been here for breakfast a few times. This was the first time for dinner. Service is good, greeted enthusiastically as I entered and quickly seated by the bar,which gave me the feeling of being in a club rather than a diner. Ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken and I enjoyed it with the tsaziki sauce,but the chicken wasn't seasoned enough for my taste. I will be back again to try other dishes. Parking: Lot is small and shared with tire shop next door. Street parking is available but tough to find a spot. Some park in the bank Lot across the street after bank hours."

"The food and service here is fantastic. I ordered an old fashioned from the bar and the balance of flavors was perfect. It was even served with one large ice ball. We shared the delicious marinated olives. The crostini was lightly toasted and beautifully displayed. I ordered the sea bass tacos and they were rich and delicious. The real show stopper was their Ad Lib burger. The pretzel bun, dijonaisse Vermont cheddar, truly one of three best burgers ever. Their fries and chips are fresh, made there goodness. Go. This place is great you won't be disappointed."

"We really enjoyed our experience at Cornerstone last night. We went with our next door neighbors and were seated in their enclosed outdoor seating area which was more than adequately heated with overhead heaters. They acutally became a little too toasty and we mentioned it to the waitress who turned them down for us! The food was excellent... we shared a Beef Wellington plate which was perfect for of us, as well as the beet salad. Everything was excellent. The noise from the street traffic and a passing train was a bit annoying since we had to wait for it to pass to resume talking, but that is out of the restaurant's control!"

"We spent the morning at the NY Aquarium and then walked around Coney Island. When it was time to go we stopped at the Parkview Diner for lunch. They asked us if we had been vaccinated, which is fine — and yes, we have been. We were seated in a booth and our server was great and checked on us several times while we were there. Food was good and coffee was refilled consistently. My wife had an omelette and my daughter had some kind of chicken sandwich. I had the beef gyro and it was very good. We all enjoyed our meals and our time there. Glad we found a diner to stop at on our way back to Jersey. We were beat and didn't need anything fancy. The parking lot is small and a bit tight so be extra careful getting in and out of your parking space!"

"Outstanding in every way... food, service, cost, and bakery goods to go all wonderful. Helpings are huge if you order from the menu as we did. As seniors, my husband and I easily could have shared a meal and wish we had. We did, however, each enjoy a complete other meal from the leftovers the next day. I would easily have left a five-star review if not for the horrible manufactured piecrust on otherwise delicious pies. I think coming to an Amish-style dining experience known for its delicious homemade family favorites, one expected a homemade-tasting pie. We purchased 4 slices of various pies to take back to our hotel but ended up eating only the fillings."

"There are two historic and acclaimed delis in Palm Springs. This one is the lesser touristic and the only one that accepts reservations. The prices are fair, the service is attentive, and the food is wonderful. Their M-F early dinners are fabulous, in part because of the great selection, but also because of their tremendous value. We've always enjoyed dining, there, and we've almost never been disappointed. Manhattan in the Desert is strongly recommended by locals and visitors, alike!"

"Noisy, menu is a bit of a mess, really awful gas-station muffins for sale that all taste like they were under-cooked at the factory. Correction: not at a factory. I would still consider changing that recipe. They don't taste great. Missing a chicken tender from my order, did not offer to make me another. Chicken at least tasted good. Could probably use with a bit more organization.Probably showed up during not a very good night as there was a large Cards Against Humanity game going on. Otherwise its probably a decent place to play games and have okay food and a beer at."

"I’m currently in the emergency room with my 82-year-old father, who is suffering from severe food poisoning. It’s clear that it came from the food he ate at this restaurant tonight. He had to bring home half of his meal because he couldn't finish it, and upon inspecting it, I discovered that the meat was completely raw inside! How could this happen? Given the high cost of dining out and the difficulties businesses are facing, you would expect more care to be taken in food preparation. I will never return to this establishment. Be careful!"
