"We spent the morning at the NY Aquarium and then walked around Coney Island. When it was time to go we stopped at the Parkview Diner for lunch. They asked us if we had been vaccinated, which is fine — and yes, we have been. We were seated in a booth and our server was great and checked on us several times while we were there. Food was good and coffee was refilled consistently. My wife had an omelette and my daughter had some kind of chicken sandwich. I had the beef gyro and it was very good. We all enjoyed our meals and our time there. Glad we found a diner to stop at on our way back to Jersey. We were beat and didn't need anything fancy. The parking lot is small and a bit tight so be extra careful getting in and out of your parking space!"

Delicious food with many selection. Nice restaurant. Price is right. But service good but not great. Like open 24/7. Restaurant setting is good and comfortable.

Came here on a Saturday with my bf and we had a really nice time, it wasn't crowded and we didn't feel rushed, the food was good, with large portions. Most notably, the waiter was extremely attentive and kind!! Would definitely come here again!

My only complain of this diner is that you get way too many French fries. I mean look at that plate. Burger was big, juicy and very tasty. We also had the cheesecake. I've been here before and I enjoyed my food. This time I went with my best friend for my Birthday because of the nice time I previously had. You won't be disappointed. The staff is very friendly. To start, the Spanish omelette I ordered was dry and barely had any sauce. It was quite surprising, considering what I expected. I've had a similar experience at another diner, the Broadway Diner in Bayonne, NJ, where the omelette was also not representative of a true Spanish omelette. It’s disappointing that this seems to be a trend. Additionally, I didn’t feel very welcome during my visit. If you’re looking for an authentic and delicious Spanish omelette, I would recommend going to the Shedwood Diner in Long Island instead.

I visited this diner for the first time today and I don't know why it took me so long to check this place out. I got treated so warmly when I walked in like I was a regular customer that frequently dined here. The service I got from the waitstaff was great and the food was good. You seem to get a lot for your monies worth and in my opinion I think the prices are reasonable. The place overall is immaculately clean, but the bathroom seems a tad small. A major plus is that they have a nice sized parking lot so you don't have to look around for street parking. I will definitely be back the next time I am in the area.

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
