"Wow! The owner welcomed us by holding the door open and shaking our hands, setting the stage for an incredible dining experience. The service was exceptional. "Yesterday, I indulged in stopping in for a steak. I needed a treat. I came in just as they opened, and I have to say that from door to table and back again, the service was absolutely excellent. The employee who seated me was very friendly and welcoming, and the waitress was personable, thoughtful regarding my meal choices, and spot on in her results. Service of this quality enhances your dining experience. I had the porterhouse, because if you're going to indulge, might at well make it count. On the side I had a Caesar salad, mushrooms, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. Granted I was hungry and I tend to have quite the appetite, but aside from some mushrooms and the dinner roll, I finished the whole meal. Speaking of the dinner roll, now to the bread and butter of my review. How was the steak? Well, have I had or even made better steaks? Honestly, yes. But do I feel that this was a good steak and that I got my money's worth? Again, yes. You know that you are indulging when you go to a steakhouse. Acknowledging that given, the prices here are good for what it is. So if you are finding yourself like I was with a hankering for a steakhouse and a need to indulge but on a limited budget, so you're not gonna spring for Capital Grill or Chart House or such, know that I was not disappointed here and enjoyed my visit."

"We had a reservation for 2/14/25 being my daughter’s 17th birthday and also Valentines. The food was good. My daughter’ s and I steak was over cooked.. we asked for a medium rare and got a medium well. As for our server he was excellent. Never missed a beat. I noticed the floor manager went to every table around us (literally, we were in the middle) and asked how everything was. Never looked our way. Overall I was expecting more from this place for the money spent. I did recommend it to a friend, maybe he and his wife will have a completely different experience."

"We had a very good meal here. Just moved to this small area and having a difficult time finding good restaurants. My son liked the spinach artichoke dip, thought it was one of the better ones he has eaten. I had the salmon special with risotto and both were good. My other son had the Delmonico steak special and there was hardly any fat and it was tasted good. We didnt have drinks but it was tuesday and drinks are only $4 which is a good deal. Place is nice inside."

"First we highly recommend the call ahead seating. We were seated quickly even though it was a packed house. Our server was great, Nicole with the red glasses, great personality and never left us feeling forgotten about even when she landed a table of 12 next to us. The food was delicious, I had the chops and loaded baked potato and the Mrs had the parm crusted chicken with the loaded baked potato. We skipped desert in favor of the Sam's Seasonal brew. "We went for lunch. I ordered the Impossible Burger and Stephen had the Memphis Chicken Sandwich. I chose mashed potatoes and he got Matchstick Fries for our sides. The burger and sandwich were good, but not any better than going to similar menu restaurants. My side had one mistake in my opinion, they brought out my burger with an enormous ball of mashed potatoes. They were hot but dry. I asked for a side of gravy to make them more like the mashed potatoes we all know and love. They were fine and gravy was not added on to the bill as an extra charge. The chicken sandwich had a sauce that gave a pretty good punch of heat if you like hot and spicy. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate fudge cake. It was six layers and topped with walnuts. The frosting was a little too sweet for my liking and overwhelmed the cake. So I ended up taking it home and eating the cake with vanilla ice cream (missed opportunity for cross sell). It was much better and cut that sharp sweet flavor. This would be a good sharable for a table of 4. Overall a good experience, but a little spendy for Lunch. So I probably wont be back because the high end pricing doesn't fit my budget.."

Just as in demand cooked, even, juicy, "melt in the mouth". Lammschellen were also excellent, tasty and generously large! Thank you for excellent food and experience we had! We recommend the place if you are in the area! It was so good, we wanted to repeat the experience back home in NYC soon. "It wasn't very busy when we got there but then got very busy. Our server was fantastic, very accommodating and even though new, attentive and found answers to any of our questions.Unfortunately we weren't real impressed with the food. The clam chowder was salty. The salmon Oscar was good as was the assorted vegetables except for the asparagus. We don't know what they did but it was tough and overcooked. The Mac and cheese was lukewarm. The lobster claws BLT had very little lobster. I asked for it disassembled but instead of lettuce tomato I got coleslaw, the bacon was undercooked, the parmesan cheese bread was very good but I didn't care for the shoestring fries.We got dessert to go, carrot cake and chocolate mother lode cake. They were both pretty good but homemade is better.It was an interesting experience but the food for the price just didn't do much for us.Unfortunately, our server forgot our discount of $10 for joining the rewards program."

"I had wanted to try Piccolo's for years and had high hopes for the food, but I was a bit disappointed. The sausage and broccoli rabe Italian egg rolls were fantastic, and the linguine and clams were good as well. However, my short rib tasted more like a pot roast than the typical braised short rib on the bone. The clams oreganata were only average; the sauce was thick, and the breadcrumbs were somewhat bland. Overall, I prefer Sal D's across the street for Italian cuisine."

"When in Cincinnati for a visit my niece suggested we eat dinner here as it's her favorite place. It's got a modern look and feel. The service was good waiter friendly. I had the grilled lambchops. They were cooked to perfection and served with roasted potatoes and carrots. The vegetables could have been maybe roasted a couple minutes more but they were still good. We had 2 appetizers of potato cakes and risotto cakes both very delicious and had a glass of the house cabernet sauvignon which was really good. The menu is small which I like and food fresh. I highly recommend for a brunch or dinner."

"Very disappointing...we used to enjoy Claim Jumper at another location, but didn't realize the huge difference between this one in Avondale and the one in north Phoenix. The waiter was friendly, was incompetent. Instead of checking on us, we had to wave him down to get his attention each time we needed help to correct the order. Both of us had to send our food back twice and the waiter also brought us DIET Coke two times instead of regular. Don't get the Beef Tips...they were fatty and under cooked. Just a very disappointing overall experience"

"We were disappointed in the service we got on Nov 11 2022. We had reservations for 1:30 PM and even though we were seated promptly, a server did not come to our table to ask for our drink selections for 10 minutes. It was not a crowded restaurant, which we found unusual due to it was Veterans Day. When we finally did get our drink orders in, that too took awhile to receive. Food ordering was just as bad. I had the Lobster BLT with fries, and the fries were cold when food was brought out. My husband's food was also cold. I mean who likes cold fries and cold mashed potatoes? The only thing we got that was hot was the soups we ordered. The one only other thing we found disgusting was the server had a beard and wearing the mask, the beard was not covered up and could have hair that might have fallen in people's food. Beards, and ponytails should be in hair nets. Also, one server ran into the back of the manager, (manager's fault for not looking) with food plate and she did not take the plate back to the kitchen as the food hit his back. Really need to get the place in order about food caring! Never should food come out of the kitchen cold unless it is ordered that way!"

"The service was really disappointing. The butter for the bread was rock solid, straight out of the fridge. When we asked the waitress to soften it a little so we could spread it without tearing the bread, she seemed annoyed. We ordered two sweet teas with no lemon, but they were served with lemon in them. When I mentioned the mistake, she just removed the lemon and brought them back. I ordered a hamburger but received a cheeseburger instead. Additionally, I asked for a loaded baked potato and ended up with mashed potatoes."

"I’ve eaten here many times over the course of the years since some of my older family members really like it. To me it’s just average chain-restaurant fare. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of just 3 was because my father was not at all happy with his steak. He said it was gristly and half of it was inedible. The server was quick to correct the problem, and, after a short time, the manager brought a new steak to the table complete with a baked potato made the special way it had been ordered originally. She didn’t even bat an eye when my father immediately asked her for a to-go box. So you made it right, made him happy (which isn’t easy to do), and, therefore, made me happy."

"We visited last Saturday for my company’s Christmas dinner. Our reservation was at 6:15 PM, we arrived exactly on time and there was so many parties waiting to be seated. We were told to wait and will be called once the table is ready. We waited 45 minutes and was seated at 7:00 PM. I am not sure what’s the point of reservations if we have to wait this long! Once seated, we ordered drinks and the waiter told us that the bar is really behind on making drinks and that it will take a long time for us to get them. At this point we put in all our drink orders for the night to ensure receiving them all together. We waited another half an hour until we finally got our drinks. I ordered my drink neat and it was made incorrectly, received it on ice. After another 20 mins we receive our appetizers, no complaints there, the food arrived hot and was tasty. My main complaint is the main dish I ordered of the lobster Mac and cheese. The picture showed the dish having a good amount of lobster on top and for the price tag of $22 I believed it would so I ordered it. I was so disappointed to receive a plate of only Mac and cheese, after digging deep and looking through the whole plate, I found one tiny piece buried under the pasta. It was so small I could barley see it! What a disappointment of a dish… will never be coming back here. There is a reason Yard House was fully booked that weekend since August and your restaurant wasn’t.. awful experience."
