"Melissa was my main contact, and she was exceptional. She was proactive and supportive, helping this nervous mother of the groom every step of the way with a smile. When we met a month prior to the event, she provided valuable suggestions, and I even decided to upgrade the menu since the initial estimate came in under our budget. Melissa is warm, caring, and very knowledgeable about events and menus. She even went out of her way to help us decorate earlier, accommodating our schedule conflicts with other commitments that day.
Everyone raved about the food and the overall experience. The two servers were fantastic—they seemed to appear whenever we needed them. When I noticed we lacked a gift table, they quickly set one up while still serving salad. The bartender was attentive and addressed any questions I had throughout the night as well. The rehearsal dinner ended earlier than expected, and guests arrived 30 minutes ahead of schedule, but the staff handled it seamlessly. The bar opened early, allowing everyone to socialize until we were ready for dinner.
The food was outstanding—everything I tasted was delicious. The passed appetizers were a huge hit, particularly the fried mac-and-cheese bites, loaded potato bites, and phyllo-wrapped sausages. Many guests mentioned they could have been perfectly satisfied with just the mac and cheese. For dinner, we enjoyed a buffet featuring grilled chicken, beef tenderloin, fettuccine alfredo, mixed vegetables, garden salad, and rolls. The grilled chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the beef tenderloin was tender and flavorful. Everyone loved the fettuccine and vegetables, and as soon as a dish was emptied, it was promptly refilled. The dessert bites—strawberry cake, cheesecake bites, and chocolate mousse bombs—were so popular that they were nearly fought over!
I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I wouldn't change a single thing. I highly recommend Iz the Place. The venue was beautiful, the food was exceptional, and the staff was top-notch. The pricing felt reasonable to me, considering everything that was included and compared to other venues I looked into. You won’t regret choosing them!"
