"I had the pleasure of having a phone interview with the general manager, Tom, who made a significant impression on me. I performed well during the interview, which took place just before Christmas on December 25, 2023. I've been a loyal fan of Olive Garden for the past 12 years, visiting numerous locations, even when I lived in Eugene, Oregon. The reason I moved to Cape Coral with my adopted family was to be closer to their Italian relatives. I cherish the time spent here, although leaving Oregon in December 2019—after a long 3,000-mile drive to Florida—was bittersweet. Despite some challenging experiences along the way, I feel grateful to have settled in Florida. A little about me: I was adopted in 1994 from a European orphanage, thanks to the generous donations of professional athletes who helped fund my journey to the United States. I'm now in my 30s, and I turn 36 on April 11, 2024. I want to commend the entire team, especially Tom, for their dedication to providing excellent service and for treating everyone with dignity and respect, regardless of their background or circumstances. My last name is Italian, and I truly appreciate the warmth and sense of community here in Cape Coral. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas today, December 25, 2023. "Went here for brunch on Easter Sunday. Got a meat filled breakfast burrito. It was tasty, however, there may have been too many different kinds of meat in it as it was difficult telling what I was tasting at times. They had complimentary mimosas on this day. The mimosas were a little too heavy on the OJ, but hey, they were complimentary. My family split a shrimp cocktail which consisted of over a dozen shrimp, so great portion size. Best of all, it was a great deal for the price of the meal. Walked away with a full belly without breaking the bank. Can't wait to go back again"

"Just arrived home from this great restaurant was with three friends. One had salmon, I had chicken Marsala another had fettuccine with chicken and the other chicken carbonara. First off the salad and soup was served and they were great. The salad is always great and they always put extra vegetables in it per our request at no charge. Soup was very tasty, there soups are great. The entrees were all great no complaints at all nice size portions and we didn't not go away hungry. No deserts were ordered the after dinner mints were just right. Service was impeccable, very good server was very polite and informative.. All in all a great time was had by all of us because the setting at this place is also great. The music is always just the right volume so we all good converse and still enjoy it. Definitely will be returning soon, they have so much to choose from."

"Food was delicious. Me and girlfriend went out on a date to Olive Garden. our sever Victor was at first nice and personable but then started to become pushy about getting us to order an appetizer after we politely declined a few times. We ordered two mixed drinks and he asked if grey goose was fine for the vodka used and we agreed. Come to find out he charged us an extra 3$ per drink without informing us that there would be a charge for the addition of the grey goose. Also on our check was a random 3$ change for a table game that we did not order as we didn 't have one of the tablets to even do so on our table. When we brought these up to him politely his demeanor instantly changed as he became noticeably upset and angry that we brought these up. My girlfriend has been a server for years and apologized but we didn 't pay for a table game or were correctly informed about the extra grey goose charges and politely asked for the wrong charges to be taken off. After we did so he begrudgingly took them off, took an unusually long time to have the check taken care of. When he dropped off my card after we payed he said In a very apparent angry and disrespectful tone for us not to worry about the tip and said to me in a rude whisper I know moneys and issue as if asking for things we didn 't pay for is asking too much"

"I thought our reservations were in the dinning room. I was told that there were no other tables available. The manager was completely rude about it. His words were We have an open table but it will be occupied at 545 p.m. I really don't think we can have you out of there in time. Our reservations were at 430pm. Second, the waiter caring for the table behind us kept bumping into my husbands chair. No sorry no excuse me nothing. We counted 6 times bumped. In regards to our food. My husband steak was so rare we needed a napkin to soak up the blood. Mine ribeye looked like a shirt steak it was so thin I laughed out when I received it. Also it was cooked well done. I wanted RARE. I was not offered a new steak. What I also noticed was when the people in bar were waiting for a table or getting ready to leave these people were using the already made up tables for there use. I saw a woman put her hat and gloves on top of a clean plate and napkin that was going to be used for the next reservation. THAT IS GROSS. I told the manager as I was walking out. He dismissed me. So anyone sitting at a bar table, be warned. As a person that comes from the hospitality industry, we were not treated well at all."

"Soup, Salad, and Breadsticks! Overall, it was a great experience. The food was delicious and quite filling for a reasonable price. We also ordered a Strawberry Margarita and a Green Apple Moscato Sangria, both of which were enjoyable. Our server, Yara, was friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. We requested a booth, and the hostess graciously accommodated our request after we were initially seated at a table. The dining area was clean and well-maintained. The only downside was that there was an unusual smell when we first entered the restaurant, as if the carpets needed to be cleaned. "This location has gone down hill ever since (gm) Jessica left. Our last visit I watched a family of 4 walk out after an hour, only served drinks and a free appetizer. You can see patrons getting angry that drinks, bread, and salad was taking to long. Free wine samples haven't been offered in our last 5 trips, thinking they stopped offering it. The average plate is now 20 bucks for poorly microwaved pasta. Won't be going to olive garden as much as we used to."

"Six of us went to this restaurant on a Saturday night, and it was pretty crowded. We were seated by had a wait, the Manager Oscar comped us our table a appetizer plate. The dishes we had and all different were really tasty, however on friend had the November Special was delicious. It should be kept on the menu as one of their regular dishes. Our waitress was exceptional. I recommended a family member that went there on Wednesday with a friend for lunch. They had soup and salad. She said the soup of cold, (I would have let the waitress know at the time) she said salad was good. They asked for bread and was told it was not served unless they had pasta. I would think bread would definitely be an accompaniment and definitely included with Soup and Salad. With restaurants losing customers perhaps they need to be a little more accomodating to customers requests."

"We were here yesterday at 5:00 for dinner. The food was fine but the service was somewhat slow but I could tell the servers were scrambling so that’s fine but what was EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING to see was while waiting upfront to get a table we watched 5 girls at the reception desk standing around doing nothing and using their cell phones while the rest of the staff worked. "The restaurant was inviting, though my husband and I would have preferred the quieter front room as opposed to the noisy, larger seating area. The food was delicious and the vegetarian options were inventive. "Went to this location last night for a date night. The wait was typical for a Friday night but the service was terrible! We waited 20 minutes for someone to take our drink order and bring us bread while people around us were waited on hand and foot. They never brought our salad out, we sat our entire meal without something to drink and no offer for a refill and no bread. We left half of our meal because the waittress never came back so after 2 hours we never even got an offer for boxes to go. This place is too expensive to be staffed by fastfood people and ive gotten better service at mom and pop diners! I will not be going back, the location in Avon indiana is always on point. I'll drive an extra 20 minutes for good food and good service."

"We both ordered the Tour of Italy; I paired mine with a salad while my husband chose the Zuppa Tuscana soup. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. However, there were some delays with the breadsticks as they took longer than expected in the oven. Initially, they also forgot to bring us silverware and our breadsticks, but the manager, Daniel, stopped by to check on us and promptly brought those items. My husband requested water and additional breadsticks, but it took a while for that to arrive. Our server, Brandi, was very apologetic and brought us fresh breadsticks along with a glass of water for my husband. Throughout our meal, several managers checked in to ensure we were satisfied and taken care of, even assisting with a minor issue related to the tablet. Brandi was a fantastic server; she went out of her way to help us navigate the Ziosk tablet for our digital gift card payment. She was incredibly friendly and did her utmost to ensure we had a great experience. Overall, despite a few hiccups, we had a lovely dinner."

"When I arrived, I had to wait briefly to be seated at a table, but there were open seats at the bar. I decided to sit at the bar, which turned out to be a great choice. The noise level at the bar was much lower, so I could hear my dining companion without struggling to communicate. I didn't have to raise my voice for them to hear me. "I searched google for gluten free and found this place. 0 stars Starting with the parking lot signage is confusing as it used to be a fast food restaurant with a drive thru.But we were starving Husband had very dry biscuits (days old or out of a freezer bag) and gravy was definitely out of can. Gravy covered the hash browns it came with too so the plate looked like slop. Not very appetizing.I’m GF so I asked what was available they have bread. I ordered the breakfast sandwich at 17.99 plus $2 for gluten free bread. It came with potatoes that were not GF and had the texture of frozen then deep fried potatoes. Coated with MSG… which has gluten. The bacon on my sandwich was paper thin and microwaved and probably had Gluten in it too.Service was less that great if someone orders gluten free ask is it’s a preference or an allergy. Know your products and don’t serve them Gluten. Thankfully it’s not an allergy for me.The bathroom was smelled like portable bathroom.Basically extremely overpriced fast food at sit down restaurant prices. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free"
