"So flavorful, almost brought to tears. So this is not my first rodeo here @Kitchen519. Today I'm unable to be with my dad and am craving steak. Its 1pm and I called to see if there was space for 1 on this busy holiday. I was made aware of their schrdule and accommodated for a.130 seating. For a non traditional, non chain food restaurant I found myself here once again. It's a hidden gem. A pleasant friendly greeter met me at the door. My server Mike has a most pleasant smile and answered my menu questions. I began with a crab asparagus soup(simply delicious. I could taste all the flavors). A 6 oz filet over asparagus, topped with crab hollandaise sauce , seasoned potatoes on the side. To accompany I tasted a house made bourbon sauce and was also brought a creme based sauce (I think w/a dash of cilantro) to taste. Ended off with 2 desserts: vanilla Creme Brule AND blbrry bread pudding. Both rich and dreamy. There is NOTHING else I need to eat today. For local flavorful dishes with a personal twist, Kitchen 519 is your place. Bon appetite!"

I had dinner Saturday night with a very good friend. The waiter was awesome, we weren’t rushed although you could tell the waiter ran his butt off. My friend had the award winning inside out burger and she loved it. I had the 3 key west shrimp tacos. We shared 2 sides…maple stuffed cornbread and garlic potatoes. The food was so delicious. We shared a strawberry lemon sorbet with smoked granola dessert. We were there for 3 hours and I never felt rushed. I will be back definitely! Loved everything!!! View menu

Visited for dinner. Prices are akin to good Cherry hill restaurants. Strawberry salad is 5/5 stars. Lobster Tempura special with crab fried rice was very good, just wasn't expecting large veggies in the fried rice. Loved the spicy sauce on the plate. The tempura lobster tail was awesome. Gouda Mac and cheese 5/5 stars. Brisket burnt ends 5/5. Fried Deviled Eggs 5/5. Service was great. Loved the paintings in the dining room!! Only marks off would be the warm temperature inside the restaurant. We are having a current heat wave so maybe not fair to judge but I was sitting in the back booth and sweating the entire time. We decided to have a random date night in the middle of a thunderstorm. I haven't been to kitchen 519 in a while and the dinner made me wonder why it's been so long. While I had the pastalaya, with crab, shrimp, mussels and boar sausage, she had crab cake sliders, and we ordered 4 small sides. The mains were great, but the sides were amazing.
