"Lovely place for lunch! I was there on a Saturday, so didn 't get to take advantage of the lunch deals, but the prices were reasonable, so no problem. Tried the newer Chicken Marsala and enjoyed it very much. Very flavorful just a hint of spice and plenty of mushrooms. I very much enjoyed the tomato basil soup as a starter and the bread sticks. The bread sticks. Did I mention the bread sticks??? My lunch friend mentioned that she and her husband often come and just have the soup and bread sticks. I was thinking, oh...that 's nice... But now I see the appeal the soup was wonderful and the BREAD STICKS!! Our server was delightful helpful, friendly and attentive. I 'll be back!"

"We visited to celebrate my parents' 69th anniversary, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and fresh, and our waitress was incredibly friendly and patient. The only reason I didn't give a full 5-star rating is due to an issue with the women's bathroom; the water ran very slowly and was cold, making it difficult to wash my hands. While this is a minor detail, it would be beneficial to have warm water that flows properly, especially considering the ongoing concerns related to Covid."

"This review specifically addresses the Soup and Salad deal at the Olive Garden located in Wheeling, WV, near Cabela's. If you're looking for a quick meal, I would recommend avoiding the Soup and Salad option. The salad tends to be soggy and drenched in dressing, with the iceberg lettuce more white than green and poorly chopped. The breadsticks were overindulged with garlic butter, making the stale bread quite unappetizing. As for the “Chicken and Gnocchi” soup, it resembled something that would be served in prison rather than at a Darden restaurant; it was incredibly thin, and I only found two pieces of gnocchi without a single chunk of chicken. When I voiced my disappointment to a manager, I was told that this is actually how it’s meant to be made. My Sicilian grandmother would be rolling over in her grave at that explanation! Overall, I’d rate the food a 1, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 3."

"Some of the reviews are not accurate. You are not dining at a fine restaurant in New York City. You are there for good food, friendly service, and a family-friendly atmosphere. I have never had a bad meal at any Olive Garden restaurant and have been a regular for about 30 years. If you are looking for an expensive dining experience, this is not the place for you. Olive Garden is a family-friendly restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. Be prepared to wait during peak times due to its popularity. The bar is a good alternative to the dining room with excellent service. Tipping is important in the industry as it reflects your overall dining experience. Olive Garden, like many restaurants, is operating under challenging conditions with rising costs and difficulty in staffing. Supporting the restaurant is important for its survival. Let's be kind to each other and appreciate the dining establishments we have."

"It was my granddaughters birthday, we wanted to order separately but the waitress decided they were going to do it family style we ordered all you could eat soup n salad, so bc the girls didn't want cheese we didn't get any, we ordered more salad it wasn't brought till everyone else was done n wanting to leave, The soup was really good, my husband also ordered another dish that they divided up into 2 separate dishes then charged extra for.. then some one else picked up our tab, but the waitress never told us n we kept waiting for them to take our card, they could have told us . They gave granddaughter a piece of cheese cake which was nice n we all sang her Happy Birthday. But never ask if any one else wanted any dessert....the food was good I was just disappointed in the wait staff. Kid-friendliness: Kids were given menus n crayons Parking: Free parking lot n plenty of handicap parking spots. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Never-Ending Soup Salad Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot"

"Our server was incredibly busy with a lot of tables (every server was that busy! but she always managed to check in on us. The chicken and dumplings soup was delicious. I didn't want to overeat and not finish my entree so I only had one bowl. To be honest, I loved that soup but it could do without the dumplings. The dumplings were my least favorite part. The salad is delicious but overly salty for me. My partner and I agreed that next time we'd probably order it with the dressing on the side, if possible. My seafood pasta was meh because the sauce wasn't very flavorful or rich. I had a huge helping of parmesan and black pepper on it which made it better but it wasn't anything to write home about. I'd get it again but probably ask for more sauce and douse it again in parmesan and black pepper. You know what gets 5 stars? That effing tiramisu. It is soooooo good. It was so good that when we were eating it, we debated ordering another one. Would I come back? Absolutely. On the way down to Seattle, there's a lot of places to get a quick bite but not necessarily somewhere highway convenient, inexpensive, tons of options, quick and comfy."

"Stopped by for a late lunch/early dinner. I was seated promptly and well taken care of. Had the Soup-Salad-Breadstick all you can eat meal, and it was very satisfying. The minestrone soup was spot on,and the tomatoes in my salad were ripe and flavorful. My waitress was attentive but not intrusive. She offered a drink refill and extra breadsticks to go, and I asked for the $6 entree as a take out extra. Very satisfied! Only negative is that carpeting in restaurants pick up odors over time, no matter how clean and well-maintained the restaurant. Will definitely continue to visit for late lunch when I'm in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

"Consistently good food and service. Salad great, as always, and the chicken/gnocchi soup and pasta dishes were very good. Love the discounted price for take-home dishes if a dine-in meal is purchased. The chocolate cake dessert is a winner! So why only 4 stars? ... Because of music blasting so loud we had to yell at our very nice waitress. We asked her to have the music turned down; she asked the manager to do so and he did. If we want blasting music we'll go to a concert or night club."

"Recently I find myself noticing the handicap access or friendliness of establishments towards handicap individuals. We don't have a handicap sticker yet but we have to use a wheelchair. We opted for just trying to get in on the cane. They offered a nearby table at the bar section. The host was very friendly. The bartender/server not so much. Restaurants are expensive and my wife is older and handicapped. So we usually share a meal. She eats like a bird. She got the salad. I just got a dinner spaghetti and meatballs. I like their meatballs. Reminder if you get a table near the door the bathroom is at the back of the building. Don't use the cane take the wheelchair. She has trouble going to the bathroom alone so I'm wondering do I go in the Womens room to assist or am I to take her to the mens room to assist? Either way one of us is going to be in the wrong restroom."

"Overall a good 1st experience for us at this Olive Garden. Welcomed and sat down right away for a Saturday afternoon at 3p since there were a lot of booths open. Started with 2 appetizers: 1) VERY IMPRESSED with the flavor of the SHRIMP FRITTO MISTO!! The shrimp has a lot of flavor and goes very well with the red sauce which is very delicious. Had to get a 2nd cup. 2) Meatballs Parmigiana. Looks great on the picture but tasted very plain. Meatballs tasted ordinary and not much sauce served with it. It needs something to bring up the flavor. Our server was very nice and for the most part provided great service. Brought us out our salad which was lacking enough dressing. Very dry. 2nd round of salad tasted a lot better like we are accustomed to. Also the bread wasn’t that fresh. Hard to chew. Also when a couple of our drinks needed be a refilled, I tried waving my arm to get her attention from her talking to her coworkers in the bar area. Waved for over a minute until someone else from the lobby came over to alert her. Would have been better if they proactively check in with us occasionally. But it did get better: VERY MUCH ENJOYED all our entrees: SHRIMP ALFREDO delectable!! SHRIMP CARBONARA delicious!! HERB GRILLED SALMON very healthy and tasty meal!! Salmon &Broccoli tasted great!!"

"Absolute wow! We weren’t sure what to expect when we arrived but the personalized service (thanks Steve) and a welcoming atmosphere for a diverse clientele set the stage for a delicious meal. I hammered a half dozen heavy extra large crabs that were perfectly seasoned. My husband, whose family are native Baltimoreans, had the best crab cakes he’s ever tasted. The lumps were huge. And my martini was huge as well. The food was so delicious that we ate at Angie’s on both evenings that we were in town. Angie’s does its part in keeping the charm in “Charm City”. We’ll most definitely be back!!!"
"First experience when I moved here was take out the night we moved into our new home. We were celebrating. The problem was that our order was missing an entree, all the salads, and the dessert. I ordered at the bar to make sure it was done right. Got home and it was a disaster. Should have checked myself but trusted them. Manager made the extra items and gave us a gift card. Later found out the gift card was just $25. It was a $170 order originally. Thought that was a little light for having to drive back to the restaurant and missing eating with my family on our first night in Derby. Update- Take out meal was done correctly tonight with no errors. Maybe they have fixed it. Food was as ordered this time."

"I absolutely love Olive Garden! It’s definitely not all amazing, but there are so many things to enjoy! Their drinks are incredible—I'm totally obsessed! The restaurant has a charming little Italy vibe with beautiful balconies, a large bar, and a spacious dining area that creates a great atmosphere. I've been there three times, and each time I've received excellent service! I always share my experiences on my food page and here, and I always have a fantastic time! The music is also fantastic!"

"The steak was cooked well done instead of medium rare, and the replacement was also well done. Fortunately, our server caught the second one before it was brought out to us, and proceeded to get the manager involved. The manager cooked the final one, herself, then removed it and our to-go meals from our bill, PLUS added in a free dessert. They went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied, and that says a lot about this establishment. We will certainly be returning!"

"Meal Type: Dinner Price Range: $20–30 per person Food Rating: 4/5 Service Rating: 3/5 Atmosphere Rating: 2/5 Recommended Dish: Chicken Shrimp Carbonara I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The price per person was reasonable, falling between $20 and $30. The standout item from the menu was the Chicken Shrimp Carbonara, which I highly recommend. It was flavorful and well-prepared, earning a solid 4 out of 5 for the food. However, the service was just average, receiving a 3 out of 5. While it wasn't bad, there were moments where staff attentiveness could have been improved. As for the atmosphere, it didn't quite meet my expectations, resulting in a 2 out of 5. The ambiance was lacking, making it feel less inviting than I had hoped. In summary, I'd suggest trying the Chicken Shrimp Carbonara if you visit, but be prepared for a casual dining experience."

"olive garden can not be grandma's authentic Italian food, but it offers a good value. they have offered for years their neverending soup, salad and breadsticks. while the brotsticks give me a bit, I really enjoyed their salate suppers. Salads can easily be ruined by a bad dressing, but their is good and does not exaggerate the crunchy, cold salat fixations. the suppers are also great. they are hearty and pack a lot of taste. the neverending soup, salad and breadsticks is a great lunch opportunity. when pressed for time, there is little waiting, so they can eat and be away. it is also reduced during the midday hours. if you enjoy carbs, olive garden offers a menu with many options. I guess if they don't find exactly what they want, they will try to adapt their dish with a lot of pasta and sauce types. even after home they can bring an additional escape to a discounted price to heat up later. at a recent pick-up visit to the ship, an article had disappeared from the order, so I had to go back to pick it up. the manager worked it fast and without problems. I haven't been in olive garden for many years, but I recently got back to it and plan for many future visits"

"Walking in, we were immediately greeted with a smile and seated to our table. Our waiter, Maverick, was STELLAR we had a complicated order due to some diet restrictions, and he was very friendly and accommodating to find out information if he didn'tknow any (the manager even worked hard and printed us the allergen info). Once we got our order straight, the food wasmouth wateringly delicious. The background was lightened with soft, welcoming Italian music, pleasing to the ears; and the tablewas dimly lit, but not hard to see at. Highly recommend!"
