"The food at this restaurant is top-notch and I usually opt for delivery. However, on my last order when I requested my burgers to be rare, they arrived overcooked and extremely well-done. Everyone makes mistakes, so I am willing to give them another chance, especially since they have never messed up before. I will wait to see how the next order turns out before giving a final rating, but I am hopeful for a 5-star experience."

"I honestly believe this was the best pork chop I've ever tasted. It was moist juicy, just perfect. The potatoes au gratin that were served with it were so good that, had they let me, I would have gone into the kitchen for another helping. Though what I thought was corn rice casserole turned out to be only loose fried rice mixed with some corn kernels. Still good but not what I was expecting. Although I was totally full, I couldn't pass up the banana pudding, which was just like how Mom made her's except she added meringue on top. My wife had the white chocolate bread pudding which she reluctantly allowed me a sample. She wanted to save it all for herself. Both were very good. No, they were even better than that! Both desserts were excellent! All in all, I really enjoyed my meal, same as my wife. If cleaning my plate was any indication of how much I enjoyed my visit, then it was obvious I rated Rick's on the Square five stars!"

"Took my bride of 43 years to celebrate our Anniversary. Was thrilled with the seating, the view, great wine selection, appitizers, and the food, ( salmon selection), was so good! Our server, Taylor was really friendly and enhanced our dinner experience. 50 mile drive was worth it! Will not be 30 years before we visit again. Thank You."

"Ordered the Branzino, and served cold not hot. Also lots and lots of bones on first few bites. Cocktails were great, main dish not so great. My girlfriend ordered salmon and it also was served cold. On a Friday night and not super busy. Definitely took a while to receive main course entree after appetizer. Sad to say I will not return here as it definitely has slipped since last time here. Sad since my girlfriend was visiting from DC and wanted to give her a great night on the town"

"The food here is okay. There wasn't anything that was bad. In fact, the oyster rockefeller was one of the best I ever had. It had salty savory bites of bacon, sweet crisp bites of white onion, and plenty of cheese. But everything else was bland. I had the Baltimore something, and it was just bland. Minus the crab cake. That was filled with salt and old bay. My fiancée had the lobster ravioli, and the sauce was definitely made earlier in the day. It started to separate by the time we arrived around 8pm. But she licked her plate practically. Lol But the food was really fresh and juicy. It just lacked seasoning for me. Michelle was killing it. She was super friendly and deserves 5 stars. She was helping two peeps at the bar, family of 5 and two couples. She was making the drinks too and they tasted great. We will be back, I will just have to try something else."

"Every other Saturday, I go out to dinner with two girlfriends who are part of my bubble. This was the first time our travels took us to The Spring House Tavern and we will be back! The service and food were outstanding, although being glutensensitive I was disappointed that there were several menu items I would have liked but which flour to thicken the sauces and soups. I had the filet and it was perfectly cooked and quite delicious"

"Very disappointed experience. To begin, the seating in the bar area was extremely uncomfortable, not in the sense of the furniture, but in the sense that it is a very long open booth arrangement along the wall, with tiny tables set up very close together. As a result of the closeness to strangers, everyone had to speak in a whisper so as not to be heard by others. The tables are very small as well, offering no room for food and drinks. The food: I had the crab Norfolk. It was mediocre at best. No seasoning, bland taste, and a very small portion for $32.99. The baked potato came without being sliced, and with no condiments. Just a potato. My wife had the filet topped with crabmeat. She was only offered one side instead of two. She wanted the steak medium but it came out very well done. The appetizer of crab dip was so small that we each only had a tablespoon before it was gone. Save your money and time."

"Last Saturday four of us went to Ditka 's in Oakbrook Illinois to celebrate a birthday. Let me backtrack, our friend Madelyn always said that she would die before her 68th birthday because both her parents and grandparents died before that age; she exclaimed that it was in her genes ! So, on the day after her 68th birthday we went to Ditka 's and had one of the best times we 've ever experience. There were only four of us but the only seating available was a table for 7 so they offered that to us and it was a good thing. We started with **** Mary 's, then Mike 's salad and Coach 's Pot Roast Nachos and finished with The Fridge Burger! Yes, we really needed that big table and had lots of leftovers. Although the restaurant was crowded we felt as though we had the place to ourselves. Our server, Amelia, helped with food selections but also had a special birthday surprise for Madelyn. The gentleman who seated us, possibly the manager, Tony stopped by multiple times to make sure that we were being well taken care of . Tony and Amelia made our not-a-funeral lunch unforgettable. Please thank them for us and thank Ditka 's for hiring the best chefs, and staff ! Sandy Abbinanti"

"I agree that this is a great place for brunch. Impeccable service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I made a reservation 40 minutes before arriving and was seated immediately. Our server, Brooke, was awesome. One of the manager, Carrie, even went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable. In fact, I love how the whole staff work together as a team. Kudos to the management team and their awesome staff. For the entrée, I tried the Classic Eggs Benedict, Spinach Goat Cheese Omelette, and Avocado Sandwich. I enjoyed every bite. The Spinach Goat Cheese Omelette, on the other hand, had an interesting taste to them but definitely a nice spin to a omelette. The goat cheese was not my favorite."

"We went to Timbuktu on the last day of our vacation after hearing from the hotel staff all week about how great the place was. My first warning should have been the kitschy decor and waiting area that smelled vaguely like urine. The prices were outrageous when you consider that the food was third rate and the mashed potatoes were fake! I had already had crab cakes the previous two days at other restaurants, so I ordered the salmon. It was bland and a little pungent , but I ate about half of it before realizing I wasn 't really enjoying it. My wife ordered the filet mignon which was $30 plus and had very little flavor and again, came with the fake mashed potatoes. I started to not feel well almost instantly and awoke in the middle of the night with full blown food poisoning! I was up all night wretching I 'm pretty sure I regurgitated my entire insides (including food I ate ten years ago) and after five days I STILL do not feel right. I would not send my worst enemy to this place and am still mad that my vacation was ruined by the poisoning I paid almost 40 dollars for. Avoid this place at ALL costs."

"Went for Downtown Dining Week. This restaurant was on the $35 list, however service was significantly below that level. There was a long wait between courses, but plates were not cleared off the table until the next course arrived. Our server appeared very disinterested in our table. It also took a long time for drink orders to be delivered. New silverware was not provided and I was explicitly asked to remove my fork from the plate so the server could clear the plate. The food was decent to good, but nothing special. None of these issues would be that bad had they not all occurred or had the restaurant been on the $25 list instead."

"We went here for Sunday brunch. We ordered the fat fluffy French toast, lemon ricotta pancakes, chicken apple sausage, cappuccinos, and mimosas. I?ve been to several of their other locations over the years, the last time being in October of 2019. We were both so impressed by the service we received. Our waiter went above and beyond to accommodate my friend?s meal. I loved my fluffy lemon ricotta pancakes and the chicken apple sausage was amazing! I can?t believe it?s taken me"

"We have been coming to Pine Tavern for years. We had patio seating and the temp. was perfect with a mild breeze. We were a party of 6. The Rueben sandwich was very dry.....not much 1,000 Island dressing. One person in our party ordered ginger ale and when he asked for a refill, he was not informed that the ginger ale was not a free refill and charged them for a second drink. We all felt that the server should have explained that this is from the bar and not a free refill. Other than that, we had a very nice time together."

"I would call the food inspector on this place ASAP. As we were finishing our meal, a rat ran towards us under our table. My husband and I jumped from our seats in terror with our feet off the floor on to the booths. When the waiter heard me scream he asked if everything was ok... when I told him that a rat had ran underneath our table he had no emotion, no concern and had no sense of urgency to bring the manager over- he basically shrugged it off. We were unable to put our feet down because the creature was hiding beneath our table. As we were flagging for help and for someone to bring the check, we had to painfully wait another 10 minutes for the manager to finally come to “apologize” she said that the back kitchen door must’ve been left open and that’s how the rat got in. They were slow to present our bill, which we quickly paid and ran out. I will never ever go back to this establishment again."

"After a 2 1/2 hour drive from OKC Airport we decided to visit Bourbon Street Cafe in the heart of downtown Tulsa. Having only visited this establishment once before and being rather impressed, a visit was deemed overdue. Our server, Tom, found himself busy with a full section of patrons but was nevertheless attentive to our immediate needs. At once appropriate drinks were decided upon and crab dip was selected for a starter. My companion chose the aptly named Lovelace as her libation of choice while I decided upon the Forbidden Sour. The latter being a cognac based concoction and the former a medley of top shelf gin and exotic fruits and herbs. Our starter arrived fresh, hot and delicious. Served with a generous amount of pita points, the interior texture of the dip was creamy yet its exterior held a precarious crispness that only the most studious chef could apply with expert craftsmanship. The entree my companion chose had less to do with a particular taste for freshwater fish and more to do with the nostalgia of our first visit here. The black magic catfish she chose consists of blackened catfish smothered in crawfish étouffée served over a bed of dirty rice. I decided upon a dish that was entirely new to me. The pork rib eye, blackened, with sides of sautéed spinach and hush puppies were a slice of culinary bliss that my taste buds hadn’t quite prepared for. My thought processes couldn’t quite fathom how a thin crispy outside layer could withhold such tenderness within. I nearly could believe that this was a morsel of pork. It held all the characteristics of a 5 star filet mignon. How was this possible? The hush puppies, although unconventional as a side to pork chops, were found to be a buttery crispy ball of corn meal, herbs and spices. So much so that a second helping was promptly ordered; the spinach left much to be desired but it’s spinach after all."

"We had dinner in the outdoor courtyard, and it was a delightful experience. We were celebrating our anniversary and had two of our closest friends with us. They surprised us with a complimentary appetizer that was delicious and something we wouldn't have chosen ourselves. It consisted of a small portion of waffle and fried chicken breast served on a flavorful bed of collard greens. Every entrée was excellent, and dining under the stars added to the charm of the evening. We will definitely be returning. Andrew, the manager, was very attentive to our needs, and Elyse, the bartender, was not only accommodating but also quite beautiful."

"The service was terrible — we sat for 40 minutes before someone even came to get our drink order, and lunch took almost two hours. The food was mediocre at best. Both kids complained about still being hungry, so we had to go get more food on St George after lunch was over. And the house salad description sounded great but was missing the pecans and was served with a ton of store-bought bacon bits, so the whole thing smelled and tasted like dog breath. Super gross and definitely not worth the extra $7. We went there because someone recommended the bay view from the second-floor balcony as wheelchair accessible for my dad. Unfortunately, they have all the tables pushed against the wall instead of the railing, so he had to sit facing a yellow wall with his back to the bay for the whole two hours. There are so many exceptional restaurants in St Augustine — this is one of the few duds. Skip it. The view isn’t worth it."

"This restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere, making it more suited for a lively outing than a romantic dinner. However, it offers an impressive selection of seafood entrees. If you're a fan of fried shrimp, this place is a must-visit. Their jumbo Mexican fried shrimp are unparalleled—far superior to what you can find at any other restaurant. The sourdough bread is unique, and the homemade corn is delicious. There are plenty of fantastic dishes to choose from. During my last visit, I tried the coconut-crusted mahi with a rum butter sauce, and it was incredible! Don't miss out on the macadamia-encrusted halibut either; it's another standout dish. I've never had a bad experience here, and the service has always been excellent."

"They took care of of the issues by not charging us for returned meals. But honestly the food has taken a turn for the worse. Martini olives were putrid. So much for a $10 martini. They changed out the olives for my second martini and those too were foul tasting. S Grouper tacos fish was foul. Tasted of ammonia. Returned. Got a burger. It was good. Friend got a Ceasar salad for $14 that was lame and peaked. I hope management rights this ship or it’ll capsize."
