"The food at this Chengdu Impression location is far and above that at the Wicker Park or Edgewater locations. Service was prompt and courteous despite being very busy when I was there. Parking can be a hassle since it's just off of Halsted Street and a bit of a hike from the nearest El Stops, but it's well worth it! I highly recommend the Twice Cooked Pork and the Sichuan Beef Noodle Soup. Beware, I was there when it was cold out and the constant flow of delivery drivers blew in the cold air and froze the whole restaurant. Not sure if the heat was off, but bring a sweater or be prepared to wear your winter coat to eat!"

"One of my favorite places! I try to visit Le's whenever I can, though it's not as often as I'd like. It's a charming little restaurant that's tucked away, always clean with prompt and professional service. I always start with their cream cheese wontons, and every entrée comes with a delicious egg roll, plus a choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup—I personally prefer the hot and sour. My favorites on the menu are the Mongolian beef and curry. "

"I've been to You Garden Xiao Long Bao in Bayside a few times and so far it's my favorite place for soup dumplings in New York. I've tried some of her varieties, but I have to say that the original pork dumplings are my favorite. The filling has such a great taste while the skin is pleasantly delicate. Love that they order a free order of XLB for tables that order $10 or more! My other favorites here are the fried pork beans and the fried pork"

"Probably some of the best Chinese in the area (we drive all the way from Newberg to come here). We have always gotten take out, but plan to eat inside at some point. The food is always flavorful, the BBQ has never been dry (which is sadly pretty common at a lot of places), and the fried items like shrimp and chicken are always lightly golden brown- cooked just right. One of the best parts- the sweet and sour sauce isn 't overloaded and thickened with cornstarch like most places are. If you have leftovers, the sauce is still sauce the next day, and not sweet sour jello. Our only complaint is that you pretty much can 't make any substitution from what 's on the menu. Other than that- great place!"

"After several enjoyable lunches and dinners at this restaurant, my most recent visit was disappointing. We placed our order, and within less than two minutes, our food arrived. It seemed like it had been pre-prepared, and it didn’t match the quality of my previous experiences. The shrimp with cashews was nearly inedible, and the sauce was gooey. The sautéed green beans were limp and greasy. I might give it another chance to see if this was just an off night."

"You know what you’re gonna get here which is good soup dumplings. Not my favorite (love the ones in NWM food court) but solid. The different non-seafood ones kind of taste the same except the truffle one. If you’re trying to cut down on red meat, the chicken shue mai was great. The braised tofu skin was also excellent and flavorful. Join the free rewards program if you plan on eating here multiple times."
