"The Local Eatery and Pub offers a comfortable ambience and an excellent culinary experience. Good quality wines, innovative cocktails and a rotating list of more than a dozen craft beers will most satisfy. But food has consistently exceeded our expectations and we have never experienced bad service. On Sunday, 11/26/17, I started with a cup of beef vegetable soup. The meat and vegetables were pretty good, but the broth was incredible! More like a very thin Beef Gravy, to say it was rich and satisfying is a rough abortion. This delicious dish was the perfect thing for these cooler autumn days. While my interest in some of the special entrées was drawn, I decided rather slightly easier than a balance to the very satisfying soup. I ordered half a size Cobb Salad. When it was brought to me, I was impressed by her idea of how half a part should look. And the menu description does not meet the quality of the ingredients. It was full of fried chicken bites, and everything else was very good. Our waiter was Zach, who remembered our previous visits, what our beverage preferences were, and we also asked him for food recommendations. My wife and I were both very happy with our food and service. And by the way, we were there between 11:30 and 12:30. I suspect that some of the reviews that have described a bad service have taken place at a busy time of the day. The restaurant is still our destination for excellent food and service in a relaxing atmosphere. Try to come back when they're less busy. There is a very good chance that your experience is as good as I described in this review. Good food, dear readers!"

"that was our second Thanksgiving dinner here, but never again! $70 pp plus $20 to open a bottle of wine. this place to keep it tactful was evil, the best part of the experience was the view of the sea and the sunset. first we were surrounded by three other tables, all were supplied with water and our server has let us dewater and not only did he ask us whether we wanted water, he did not bother. then we have our appetizers, I have butternut squash bisque and my wife got the beet salad. my bisque was hardly warm, so I sent it back to heat it. would they now think if I had sent back cold suppe that the next curs would be really hot? No, both my and the escapes of my wife also came cold to the table. the food was dang-near inedible, nothing was made fresh by scratches. the truthahn was processed, the dressing came out of a box, the cranberry sauce came out of a dose, the sweet kartoffel was hard and not only the maische kartoffels cold, everything was cold. the chocolate cake was not even made by the kitchen, it was too sweet and rich. my wife ate about the half of her gland panna cotta and could not finish that either. I'm sorry who's responsible for this kitchen has to be fired. I know this is sweating and hard reviewing this experience, but it should be. if they pay a total of $186 for dinner and a product of this terrible, people should be warned, this is not the place for a holiday style dinner; and nothing else for this occasion. when we left the left, we stayed on a table next to the bar, but we decided that we didn't want it and our dog probably didn't want it either. they are on their own risk, they were warned."
