My partner, who has no allergies, joined me in the meal. We started with roasted bone marrow, but I noticed it was a bit troubling when the server brought it out on a separate plate alongside bread, balancing both plates on the same arm.
Things took a turn during the main course when I realized that the halibut was served on a large bed of farro. I confirmed this with my partner, and after waiting over 15 minutes, I finally flagged down our server to address the issue. While the dish was taken away, there was no follow-up, apology, or acknowledgment from anyone, including a manager who appeared to be present at the entrance and overseeing the kitchen.
It's worth noting that we arrived shortly after dinner service began, and the restaurant was quite empty with only three other tables occupied. We decided against dessert because I was feeling unwell and didn't want to risk waiting for another course.
Although the food itself was fantastic, I left feeling anxious about my safety and will not return due to this experience. I'm really disappointed."
