"everyone was so nice and professional! I had the most pleasant culinary experience! we have not been rushing. the server were attentive. uoh ~ and the chocolate martini, lychee martini, and gin and tonic and chardonnay were delicious! we had the thun-fish tower and auberginen rollatini, for dinner we had 2 osso bucos, I had the crab cake. desserts of feigen and honiggelato and crème brûlée.and coffee. everything was delicious! I had such a nice evening with good friends and delicious meals and excellent dining room service! we see you again very soon"

"I warned last february a surprise party for my father and, after I had never sung in tavern from the green, I was a bit nervous about the quality of eating. Now, let me just say that eating was phenomenal! I think I'm a bit a food critic, and I was thrilled with not only eating, but the entire service. I woke up, on the day after the party, disturbing to finish the rest that were packed for us! Even now, as I write this review, I greet. Beyond that, I was not the only one who saved the food. all guests were very impressed by the delicious food and I give john, his staff and the cook, 5 bright stars. Thank you. john for everything! I will be back for another event as soon as I have another plan!"

"La Chasse is one of our favorites! The owner and staff are friendly and focused on their guests having a great experience. Last night, I had the salmon with mushroom risotto, and topped with crispy shallots. Delicious! My wife and I split orders of crab cake and also escargot. Blake, our bartender/server, helped to make our evening a really really enjoyable one! Every time we visit La Chasse we see other regulars , so you know the food, drinks, and atmosphere, are consistently A+."

"the first time to eat around 1799 and we will surely be back! everything was amazing! we think about the next visit or at night in the clifton, so we can enjoy more of the delicious cocktails. we sang in the library, which was intimate, cozy and a really cool atmosphere. the love for the detail of all employees was incredible. we were there to celebrate my friend birthday and they bought a little birthday cake and a candle. I thought that would be just a nice note. our server and host gave us regular attention that gave us the feeling that we were more than happy to serve our needs. the food was incredible! I had the fag and it was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. my friend had the lamb that was also the impeccable standard as the rest of the service, atmosphere and eating. 10/10 would recommend"

"We have tried this spot several times over the many years we visit the area, through many management changes with mixed results. Fortunately the current team seems to have gotten it right- many food choices from small plates to full entrees with everything we ordered being very good. On top of that, moderate prices and good service made for a very pleasant experience."

"I love this place. My favorite is the stir fry. I get chicken instead of tofu. This time the chicken was chewy. Was unable to eat the meal. They handled this perfectly. Manager offered me a new meal or to take the meal off the check."

"I have never been disappointed at Joe Muer Detroit. The staff and managers are always professional and eager to assist, and the ambiance is sophisticated and enjoyable. Our server, CJ, was incredibly professional and attentive to our needs. The food was top-notch. My wife and I split the seafood platter and it was well worth the price for the generous portions. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone."

"Bleu dropped the ball this time. We normally enjoy Bleu but this time we ran into a few things that could have been better They would not allow any substitutions on this visit, claiming they were too busy with large crowds. We were seated in the main dining room and there were four completely empty tables available when we left about I suspect there were other tables available as well We ordered an appetizer which arrived just minutes before the main course There was no liquor list, only a wine list. The bar was out of some of their normal brands When our entrees arrived each serving had the appearance of a pre fixe menu dish. Some of the portions were very small when compared to the price and could have been hotter This visit was a disappointment compared to previous visits. I hope this was an exception rather than a trend. We will try Bleu one more time. I hope it will not be our last"

"Always one of the top restaurants in St. Louis. Quality has not declined since the passing of Vince Bommarito, but we did miss Vince's presence and gift of hospitality. His son James did not greet us or stop by our table, something that Vince would never miss."

"I was here on Monday with a friend and we both liked our meals (she had pork katsu and I had the chicken katsu don . The chicken katsu don was very good, although I wish it had been crunchier. Generous portions, too. We ended the meal with the red bean tempura fried ice cream (Amazing! and the banana tempura. I recommend both highly. The service was underwhelming but not bad. I will definitely be returning to this place for what I'm sure will be another delicious meal."

"As a repeat patron of La Chasse, we wanted to try the new spring French menu. Wow! We had a hard time picking appetizers and entrees. My wife went for the mussels to start. Nice plump mussels in a omg garlic cream broth. The pommes frites served with the mussels were excellent also. I tried the foie gras. The foie gras was tasty, but as always, I wished there was more. My wife went with the chicken chausseur, and almost picked up the bone to have a final gnaw. She said delicious . I went with the duck la 'orange. The orange sauce was killer! It came with the gruyere dauphinois potatoes, which were fantastic. La Chasse just keeps us coming back."

"My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant. We submitted a reservation through this platform and explained it was our anniversary. We arrived exactly at appointed time. The entrance was a little cluttered upon our arrival as the Manager was collecting names of newly arrived guests (ours and a couple in front of us) to sort out the seating. As this was happening, another couple entered the restaurant. To make room and be considerate, my wife and I stepped aside, which allowed them to speak with the hostess. My wife and I continue chatting while waiting for our table, when the hostess sits the couple that arrived after us in our seat. There was no communication between the manager and the host, which caused us to miss out on our table. They told us to take a seat at the bar to wait for a new table to become available because all tables were occupied in the establishment. This was disappointing but they comped our first round of drinks. We decided to eat at the bar. The bartenders were excellent attentive and they made fantastic drinks. It wasn't long until we ran into more issues. When my wife attempted to order her meal, they explained they were out of Filet Mignon. Unfortunately, my wife made the choice to order the New York Strip. The cook on the steak was what we requested but there was no seasoning on the steak, like it had been forgotten entirely. We attempted to revive it by adding our own salt and pepper; it didn't work out. The restaurant removed the charge from our tab we left it. I ordered the ribeye and thought it was perfectly fine. We both enjoyed our sides: Mac Cheese, Mashed Potatoes, Brussel Sprouts and Green Beans. We also liked the Brie and Choc Pistachio Cake. After the disappointing meal, my wife got very sick after dinner that evening. There was no other opportunity for her to get sick other than the dinner. Instead of celebrating five years of marriage in a proper manner, she was fighting for her life on the toilet."

"I made the reservation and noted it was for my birthday. When we arrived and said our reservation was made on Open Table for Jacki, they took us right back. I know it usually takes a min for most restaurants to check and mark it that we came and it didn’t seem like they did that. When I checked my email, it stated I did not show up for my reservation. I checked the box that I did show up. We arrived at 8:05 for an 8 pm reservation. Since it was my birthday, I was bummed that our table wasn’t as nice as I would have expected for a special occasion. It was very dim lighting and I had to use my flashlight on my phone to read the menu. A candle on The table would have been nice. Other tables had candles, just not our section. My boyfriends drink had dish bubbles in it and we asked for a manager and she brought out a new one. We asked our server to bring an extra shot of Makers 46 and she never brought it. Everyone was friendly. Just a little disappointed with some minor details. I would go back to give it another try."

"I recently attended a luncheon at Joseph's and was incredibly impressed. I would highly recommend this venue for any type of function. It appears to have been specifically designed for events like the one I attended. Despite there being around 100-125 people in attendance, the layout of the space made it feel spacious and comfortable. The tables, food, and displays were arranged in a way that encouraged conversations among all different groups of people. The food was fantastic, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The drinks were also delicious. Joseph's was very helpful in assisting the family with setting up and displaying numerous pictures around the venue. Situated just steps away from the beach (accessible by walking through a path in the dune grass), guests could enjoy views of the ocean from all the windows. Overall, it was a lovely event and the venue was perfect for all occasions, from weddings to birthday parties to funeral luncheons. I would highly recommend Joseph's for any type of party - you can't go wrong."

"PURE EXCELLENCE! If only I could eat here everyday. The escargot are a garlic buttery perfection and they give you this fresh bread to sop up every bit of garlic butter sauce. The Seafood Bisque is thick and delicious and included shrimp, crab, scallops and even had a bit of rice which was a pleasant surprise. This is one of the best bisques I have ever had. I was too full but because every dish I saw come from the kitchen looked like pure heaven I decided to be greedy and get the Scallop and Shrimp Angel hair pasta. It was pure deliciousness. The seafood and pasta were perfectly prepared and every bite made me want another. I came back during Howard County Restaurant week and ordered the identical meal and it was exactly as delicious as the first visit. Pure heaven in the form of delicious food!"

"We had a great, multi-generational family dinner at Heavy Seas. We had asked to be seated in the separate dining room at the back of the restaurant so that we could talk without the distraction of football playoffs on the televisions. All of our meals (from the crab pretzel appetizer to the cheesecake dessert) were exceptional. The discriminating beer lovers in our group were more than pleased with the selection and quality of the offerings. Our waiter, James B, went out of his way (literally and figuratively) to be attentive without being overbearing. All in all, we had an exceptional evening."

"I been going to Mastros for many years and the service and food has always been exceptional until last night. Food was ok the Mac and cheese was super dry couldn’t fine the cheese. The service was poor. Our waiter did not provide the same service as the other tables that he was serving . First, my steak was undercooked I ordered my filet well done. Our waiter took back to the kitchen then after a few minutes he brought it back and it was cooked well done. Our waiter came to check if my steak was well done the second time which it was. After that one time he never came back to ask if everything was good or if we needed anything. He’ll pass by our table and wouldn’t acknowledge us he’ll just go ask the other people at the other two tables he was also serving. It’s very upsetting of not getting the same service as the other large parties he was serving. Every table regardless of the size party should receive the same service."

"I would recommend this restaurant for the beautiful views, but the food was just alright. My main issue was that when I ordered the $140 ribeye, it was not brought out as soon as it was ready. It seemed like the server may have thought we were not ready for it yet since we still had appetizers on the table. As a result, the ribeye came out lukewarm. It could have just been a misunderstanding, but for a dish that costly, I wanted to make sure I could fully enjoy it."

"We have been there multiple times and always had excellent service until friday night. our waiter colin or collins was terrible. no personality and apparently two ladies came in who must be something with the community as this waiter and two others made conversation with them. He kept asking them if they needed anything. We are paying customers as well and everyone should be treated the same. its a higher class place and for the money we are paying for our food we should have had more respect. our waiter we had to tell him we were ready to order. he never came to ask how our dinner was and never asked if we wanted dessert or anything else. he should not be working there. He was rude to my friend as he said something and she asked him to repeat himself as she didnt know if he was talking to us and he rudely told her he was talking to the ladies behind us. they totally got his attention and he was the worse waiter we ever had. we never had anyone so rude as him. The food was good as always but not sure we want to go back with how disrespectful and rude he was. afraid of getting him as a waiter again. also a tip is for exceptional service. He got squat because he was not worthy he needs people skills. i would only recommend The Standard due to the exceptional waiters and waitresses in the past times and the food is fantastic. Since we had an awful experience. if this was my first time i wouldnt go back. Since ive been before I will try one more time but we shall see"

"We started our meal with the mussel runners, which were fantastic—definitely one of my favorites. Then came the stone crabs, but they turned out to be quite expensive; three "jumbo" claws cost $140! Unfortunately, I found the stone crabs to be very disappointing. While they looked fresh and clean, they didn't taste or feel like I'd expected. They lacked the sweet flavor I remember enjoying at Joe's, and most of them were quite tough. With each new crab I tried, I hoped the previous one was just a fluke, but that wasn’t the case. Given the high price we paid, it was a major letdown. Would I return to Blue Fin? Yes, I would consider trying another fish dish since they have a nice, upscale atmosphere, and I’d like to give them another chance. However, I won’t be ordering stone crabs again!"
