"our server was sweet, but gave us brot without bread plate. it was a Friday night at 19:30 clock we were third table in restaurant. the actual restaurant decoration is nice on the water, but in the night it does not play any role, no outdoor lighting, so they can't see it anyway. the calamari appetizer although perfectly boiled was greasy but tasty. the French thorn soup was extremely salty. the keilsalat was good, but the fried egg above in contrast to a traditional cooked egg did not steal the show. the beet and pear salad had a great dressur, but too much and was exaggerated with cheese. Bone-in ribeye was perfectly boiled, but not seasoned on all the needs a soaked and at $75 it should be fantastic, moderate meat quality. the horse sauce I ordered on the side was the traditional creamy horse sauce you used earlier. we were informed later, they were out, got the burger at his place. great burger perfectly cooked and special sauce was delicious. desserts we ordered a keksteig filled egg roll, which was super tiny and literally cut an egg roll in half fried and served on a huge dish. the egg roller winder is too dense for the desert definitiw. the homemade apple cracked, it was very hot from being microwaves, the crisp was not at all crisp, but got soggy from sitting in the refrigerator, then with the tiny pots of ice and whip cream. not a restaurant to which I would return at this point. it is called club steakhouse, but there are only steaks on the lower left side of the menu and not typical steakhouse quality more like a glorified j"

"Unfortunately, our main courses didn't meet the same standard. I ordered a medium rare ribeye and received a rather thin cut that was mostly raw in the center, with a disappointing gray exterior. My mother ordered a filet cooked medium, and while it was double the thickness of my steak (which is standard for a filet), it also had a nice sear on the outside but was still cool and purple in the center. Around the same time, we overheard other tables sending back steaks as well. In summary, I sent my ribeye back and got a replacement that was slightly more cooked but still on the rare side, which I decided to accept. My mother’s steak returned after being sent back but was still rare inside, so she just wanted to take it home to cook it further. However, our server insisted on taking it back to the kitchen one last time to show the cook, and my mother agreed. When it finally came back another 10 minutes later, it was charred and dried on the outside but at least cooked medium rare on the inside. By this point, our 16-month-old son was quite fussy and ready for bed, so we decided to box up what we had left, including a couple of complimentary desserts due to the disappointing meal, and settled our $200 bill for four before leaving. To add to the evening's woes, my wife experienced severe stomach pain shortly after we left, which may or may not have been related to the meal. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing night. Our server did her best, apologizing and offering a free dessert that we didn't really want, but for what is supposed to be a “nice” establishment, we expected to hear from the head of the house or the manager, and sadly, we did not."

"This was my first and last visit to the Tipping Chair. We were a party of *22* throughout Saturday night, February 19th and we were 12 for dinner. The food was okay ? typical bar food and *tiny* portions. The liquor is completely watered down!! The pours were cheap, and it was *obvious* they were doing so. People that drink beer or wine are unaffected by this, and I suspect that?s the majority of people. I understand that restaurants are struggling at this time, but the price gouging at The Tipping Chair is beyond. As we were having pre-dinner drinks, s staff person came around to collect the $10 cover charge and announced that we had to pay and order food. The menu does not contain prices, so I assume they make up whatever price they want at the time. What really made our decision not to come back was the fact that the entire staff was constantly running after us to make sure we paid the cover or were extremely concerned over which tab was being used. It seemed desperate. Once the music from our favorite band began, it was a little loud for my 80 year-old dad, so I said I would take care of his drinks, and I walked him out side to his car. A server came running after us to make sure he paid. Of course when I came back in after 3 minutes and had no coat on, yet again the person at the door was quite concerned that I had not paid the cover. The Tipping Chair must have a lot of people ?dining and dashing? if not that, then I cannot explain the behavior except I really think that they are near going out of business; regardless, it was a huge turn off. I frequent places where I simply hand over my credit card to start my tab, and I flit about inside and outside all evening without people chasing me. The Tipping Chair won this time as they definitely got out money last night. Unfortunately they aren?t thinking about having long term loyal customers. This is to their detriment especially since we follow the band, and we *ALL* agreed that we will never set foot in there again."
