"for the first and last time in the bbareone for a happy hour. they have a great selection of liqueurs and some hard to find beer, so two stars for it! but I would have ordered the QR code just as well as inconspicuous and not helpful the server was. the HH food was only fat and laborious. I ordered the HH-hour menu and got what I thought was a HH-Margarita. it was too sweet and not the best, but it's hh I thought so no biggie. not only did my server not mention that it was not for happy hour, but it was $15. $15 for an under-average good margarita is ridiculous everywhere. at the end, when I noticed it on the bill, and everything he offered was a half-hearted apology. there is no passion or ounce of care in perceivable."

"We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with spring onion pancakes (delicious) and ending with chicken and broccoli (again delicious), the lunch (rice, main course and soup) was very cheap and delicious. The environment is wonderful - brick walls and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommended!!"

"I ordered butter chicken for the first time.... just outstanding. Would have like to have had a regular larger beer on the beer selection menue as I don't like big, heavy beers.... overall a great meal..."

"Came here for Mother's Day. The garden in the back was nice. The food came out late due to "computer issues" but I figured the server could have told the kitchen? The coffee also came cold. The environment is very nice and the hostess was accommodating for where we wanted to sit with a toddler and a baby."

"This restaurant is so pretty inside and you also have an option of the outdoor patio seating. The food was awesome and worth the price. Delicious Sangria! Definitely coming back!"

"Both salads—the house salad and the Caesar—were delicious, though they were quite standard in flavor. The prime tenderloin was cooked to perfection with a pleasing peppered and salted crust, accompanied by pickled red wine reduction onions and béarnaise sauce. The lobster risotto, while perfectly prepared, had an overpowering seafood taste, and the white wine in it wasn't reduced enough. On the other hand, the lobster mac and cheese was rich and delightful. The crème brûlée was decent, but nothing exceptional. Overall, this steakhouse is definitely worth a visit if you're in Waco!"

"We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Dudley’s tonight. I had the Sunday Supper the salmon mousse was a perfect starter. It was served on slices of endive with a light sauce. The Mahi Mahi was light and paired well with the Hawaiian rice. The papaya lemon slice was the perfect ending to the meal. The Sunday Supper is a great deal at $40 for 3 courses. My husband enjoyed the steak, always his favorite. Our cocktails were prepared well. Lane was our server tonight. She was attentive and pleasant and she answered our questions about the entrees honestly. . She helped to make our dinner part of a lovely Sunday at Dudley’s."

"It was my birthday and wanted a good steakhouse. Loved reading the reviews and decided to give it a try. Upon entering restaurant, we were promptly greeted and made to feel welcomed . We were right on time for our reservation. The place was busy and seemed to have a lot going on. We were seated within a few minutes wait . It took a couple of minutes and our server was quickly at our table. We place our order and eagerly awaited our food. We went with the nights special of crunchy tacos filled with yellow fin tuna. I didn’t car for it as it didn’t taste fresh, though my husband gladly enjoyed it. He also enjoyed the wedge salad served with a true slab of bacon! I really enjoyed the French onion soup ... fully loaded with flavor ! We then moved on to the main course of elk steak and buffalo steak. The elk was a little too lean and dry , however , the buffalo was outstanding ! We then decided to have a little dessert though we were both already full. I ordered the flourless chocolate cake which was amazing !!! I would go back again just for dessert ! Hubby had a simple side of ice cream which he enjoyed as well. I would say this is a busy restaurant with prompt service . It was pretty loud for date night . Would be great for a night out with friends"

"Black Sheep is a great restaurant. The service is almost always excellent and this trip was no exception. Our waiter was great, personable and prompt. We had multiple happy hour cocktails which were of high quality and delivered quickly. The happy hour drinks are a great value. The Dusty Boot is my favorite and I hope it never leaves the menu. The food was good and tasty. The kitchen at Black Sheep is one of the best in Jacksonville. However the price for the food, even for the happy hour items, is getting out of hand. I have visited Black Sheep since they have opened. I’ve watched the pricing on the food increase over time and several items are now 30-50% higher than they were several years ago. Vegetable sides for dinner are now $7-8 dollars. A large salad is $14. These items used to be $5 and $10. The cheapest sliders for happy hour are $9. There is less meat on all three sliders combined than would be in a single small sandwich. The cheapest main for dinner is a $15 burger WITHOUT CHEESE. A slice of cheese is $1. One. Dollar. So $16 for a cheese burger and some shoestring fries. I know it’s grass fed beef but still! It’s obscene. If someone at Black Sheep is reading this, please, work on that menu and the pricing. You have slowly priced a loyal customer out of visiting your restaurant. You have good food but the value is no longer there. You have competition now, even in your own neighborhood. I love your restaurant and want you to win me back."

"Easy to find the place but parking will be tricky in the area. Give yourself some time to find it ahead of the reservation. It is good to have reservations, if not there will be accommodation for walk-ins during non-peak hours. Ambiance is nice, seats are well cushioned, tables heights are decent but atmosphere is slightly noisier. Staff and service is excellent. Food is decent, the taste won?t wow you but cooking methods and attention to details is good definitely"

"Regarding vegetarian options, I noticed only one entrée, cauliflower steak, on the menu. As for parking, when we arrived, the lot was full, and there appeared to be just one handicapped parking space. We ended up circling the block and finding street parking, which required us to walk quite a distance—a challenge for my husband. In terms of kid-friendliness, the menu had limited options for children, making it not particularly suitable for families. Lastly, the restaurant's wheelchair accessibility was an issue; we were seated upstairs and since my husband uses a cane, navigating the stairs was challenging. It would have been helpful if we had been asked about any mobility concerns when making our reservation. While there was seating available downstairs, it was full and we weren’t offered an elevator, leading us to believe that one might not be available."

"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most restaurants to be overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we walked in - that's a huge plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without interfering. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as advertised and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."

"After giving us only the options of 7:15 or 7:45, not 7:30 as we wanted. When we arrived for our 7:15 reservation they kept us waiting half an hour. Although they were apologetic, they did not offer us a free after dinner coffee or any other sort of tangible apology. That kind of service does not encourage a return visit. The rest of the service was good, other than the waiter trying to suggest the Dom Perignon Champagne for $350 (he didn't tell us the price)."

"This was our second visit to the Tree Room. It was again an unforgettable meal and experience. The atmosphere is elegant with rustic authentic furnishings. While there were several large parties, it did not seem noisy and service was excellent. Our waiter and staff were attentive and accommodating. We had two entrees, chicken and pepper steak. Both were excellent. We added the delicious tomato soup which was accompanied by a bite size puff with cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly. The chicken and sides were excellent. I personally did not care for the rye bread puree with the chicken. Overall, the Tree Room is a restaurant where you want to linger and enjoy the ambiance. It is not a place to be if you are in a hurry. If you stay at Sundance resort or nearby, do not miss this memorable experience. We honored the no photographs policy but there are many images online of this beautiful room."

"Don 't go here for dinner. We went on a Thursday evening and it was empty. Nevertheless, it took the bartender FOREVER to make 5 cocktails: 2 Cosmos, 2 vodka sodas, and a wine. The lone server on duty excused the wait, by saying we do CRAFT cocktails. Horsepucky. These were easily mixed drinks that any busy bar could whip out in an instant no muddling, infusing, or hocus pocus required. We then tried to order food. Oh, we 're out of that and Oh, that 's no longer on the menu was the refrain. Well, I 'm reading it, so it 's on the menu (which is dated less than a week ago). Maybe it 's craft food, too. We decided to cut our losses, pay for the drinks, and split. Then the server discloses that she is the manager and is comping our drinks so we don 't have a bad experience. Too late. And the manager is the only server? This place must be fixing to go sneakers up. We left a good tip for the bad bartender and got out of there fast."

"My wife and I were here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since a flood devastated the building. We began with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both entrees were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. The dining room gets quite noisy, but it's worth the noise to enjoy truly outstanding food."

"We were in Milwaukee for a convention and noticed that Pier 106 was the only seafood restaurant around so decided to give it a try. Its right on the Riverwalk so a great location especially for those who like to sit outside (we didn't). We had great service and our meal was very good. We enjoyed an appetizer of mussels & clams which had white sauce over them - sauce reminded me of New England clam chowder - very different than what we expected but delicious. I had the stuffed salmon as my entrée and my husband had the ahi tuna - both dishes were very good. I'd recommend Pier 106 to anyone visiting Milwaukee."
