"I recently enjoyed dinner here with a group of 12, and I was really impressed with the service we received. We called ahead to see if they could accommodate us, and they did so without any hassle. The food was fresh and came out quickly! I’m honestly surprised at how empty the place was, considering the quality of the food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Plus, it’s conveniently located just off Whiskey Road on the Southside of Aiken. We've dined here with friends several times, and we've always had a positive experience! After reading some of the reviews, it seems like some people are complaining for no good reason — but hey, it is Aiken, so what can you expect? Firstly, the food and drinks are budget-friendly. Secondly, who cares if there's a spelling mistake on an Asian menu?"

"We just moved up the street from this place 2 weeks ago and we've eaten here 4 times already. The take out is fantastic but if you actually get the chance to go in and eat, it will blow your face off! My husband is a chef who's not easily impressed by other people's food and it's become one of his favorites too. You won't regret eating here!"

"Heard about it, but ah never before. Upon arrival seated upfront, lol as if we were the entertainment. The table placement felt awkward. Honestly I'm not one for Sushi, just not personal preference. Sushi too much like cat food. The fried pickles were a joke, not the right batter for frying pickles. Texture was like a wet sponge. Now the starters the Miso soup was spot on, that was really tasty and not overwhelming. The salad, could have used some help. Yes, the dressing was spectacular and flavorful, however a bowl loaded with Lettuce as pale as paper, just gross. Salad is suppose to be green! Now I will say every fried sushi roll was amazing. The portions are large. 1 sushi roll could easily feed 2 with along with the appetizers. Beef and broccoli was great as well. Our waitress Devon, was always available and was really good about the drinks and pick ups. Now the bathroom looked worse than a truck stop I was grossed out by that. I personally would never come here again."

"I give 3 stars because my kids liked the chow fun. I however, felt it was lacking in flavor. The teriyaki tofu was a nice surprise and was very tasty. The major disappointment was the jalapeno slices in the fried rice. Why!?! Jalapenos in fried rice... who does that!?! It was too spicy for all of us and I don't like to see wasted food. Potentially the food could have been better with a few adjustments. There were three small fried rolls of some sort that came with the order, I'm not sure if they come as a courtesy, but the kiddos enjoyed those as well. I'd probably eat here again if I happen to be in the area, but I don't think I'd go out of my way for a visit. The food came in styrofoam packaging. Edit: the teriyaki tofu is delicious cold the next day too. I would order it again for sure."

"I found this place by chance, while hungry and going into Harris Teeter for some fried chicken. They were all sold out, but just outside there was a heavenly smell coming from this place called Forbidden Palace. So I went over to check it out. First, I have to say that what I ate there is sincerely the best NY Style Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. Atmosphere is serene and everything in the restaurant is very clean. Great place for a romantic date, taking your whole family, or even solo dining in comfort and peace. They also have traditional (authentic) Chinese food, if that’s what you’re after. This is the true “No. 1 Chinese Food” restaurant in taste, quality, and style. I’ve been back twice already since my first visit, and it’s easy to say that I will be a regular here from now on."
