"I was really happy a year ago when I found this restaurant. The food was really tasty. Unfortunately the last several times I’ve eaten their food, the quality has gone way down. Most recent two experiences: 1. Family sit down dinner in restaurant. I ordered a chai tea to drink. Didn’t get it for over 20 minutes. The server brought us the wrong meals. We ordered lamb korma and chicken tikka masala. The dishes they served us didn’t even look close to those two. We let him know they were wrong and it was another 10 minutes until he brought out the right food. Total time to order our food and get it, was over 45 minutes. It was NOT busy. 2. Ordered vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala, chickpea curry, lamb korma, and garlic naan bread from them via Uber eats. They only packed one small portion of rice despite me paying for 3 whole entrees, a side of naan, and samosas. They forgot the samosas completely. The naan tasted super burnt. My husband said the lamb korma tastes way less quality than it had previously. Totally bummed out. Dunno if they had a change of ownership or what, but hopefully they can change what’s going wrong and get back on track. Truly I loved their food, but I won’t be giving them another try in the foreseeable future."

"I was surprised by the service level on this last visit. We were one of three tables occupied in the restaurant and was seated by the bar wall, were we had to talk over television and wait staff conversing in the bar area. Service didn't seem as prompt in the past. Once we finished dining, the server came by to check on us and our silverware was crossed in our plates. We expected her to remove the plates so we could continue talking. After a while, we finally pushed the plates out of our way while we talked. Soon, three people came to the table and took over 4 minutes to move plates around and finally clear the table. This just wasn't the experience that I am used to seeing at India Palace."

"We called the restaurant to know how late they will remain open. They told us till 10 p.m. We reached there at 8.20 p.m. on Saturday the 25th of July, 2015.The restaurant was about one-third full. There was a birthday party going on the back end. And there was a group of about 7 - 8 in a front table..The hostess was not very happy to see us. Gave us seats in a dark table in the middle. We wanted to see the menu. The lady said to us to hurry up as the kitchen was going to close at 9 p.m. We decided to go with the buffet dinner as no kitchen preparation will be involved.At around 8.55 p.m. the hostess/manager told us to take the food we need as she was removing the food from the buffet table at 9 p.m. I was shocked. I told her it was supposed to remain open till 10 p.m. .Anyway, we left at 9 p.m. My wife was angry with me that I still paid 15 % tips.The lady was working there for 10 years and she said she was the manager. If she behaves that way, I do not think the restaurant will remain open very long. Whatever bad hair day she had , she did not have to take it on her clients. The food was of average quality. The spread was not bad. . The chicken tandoori was bland with no zing."

"None of us liked our food at this place.Let's start off with the fish pakoras. I recently read a review that the fish pakoras at this place are the best. I found them amongst one of the worst. The batter on the pakoras was very dark in colour and there was far more batter than fish. I felt as if they had been refried. I had 2 peices and left the rest. It would be better if you didn't use food colouring and kept the batter light and golden in colour with a dusting of ajwain.The Shish kebabs were very dry and the portion size was very small.The Shahi paneer was lacking one key ingredient chunks of paneer. It was almost as if the paneer had been minced for another dish and repurposed for the Shahi paneer dish.The sholay pooria were not very good. The pooria came out with a very wet texture and the Sholay seemed under cooked. I'm thinking it was a tinned chickpeas just coated in a curry base.The chicken tikka was not the best. I think I could get a microwave meal from the local supermarket that would taste better.In all the dishes I found the spice to be excessive. I'm used to eating spicy food but this was too much for me to handle.The garlic naan and rice were decent."

"Food is great as always, but man, the service has gone downhill badly. I was excited to bring my husband since I’m from Memphis and this was always one of my “go to” restaurants close to home. We were provided one rice bowl with two orders of the chicken coconut korma. When we had finished the rice we sat for 30 minutes while our coconut korma sauce got cold, waiting on to-go boxes and more rice and naan. The lady passed by us several times not even asking us if we needed anything. Finally I stared her down to get her attention because she didn’t tell us her name. She brought the check without asking us if we needed anything, and when I finally asked for food she looked inconvenienced. I hate she ruined the experience. It was only about 4 tables of people including us. Half the time she was standing at the front register doing nothing. One to-go box for two people after we asked for to-go boxes-plural. Like everything added up to be annoying."
