"When I stepped through the swinging door of Bertha's Bar, all I wanted was a relaxing Saturday afternoon—a cozy spot to write, a great beer, and the best mussels ever. Thankfully, I got exactly that! I started with a Guinness and the Old Bay mussels, and I was so impressed that I couldn't even finish them on my own, so I invited some friends to help out. The portion of mussels could easily serve three or four people as an appetizer. Make sure you really get the Old Bay seasoning because it's fantastic! The mussels are generously coated in Old Bay, which pairs beautifully with the warmth of the Guinness. The ambiance of the bar, including the guy who won't stop talking about sports, creates a delightful background hum, reminding me of a charming little stream of conversation. Amen to that!"
