"Four of us had a pre concert dinner on a Thursday evening. Our reservation was for 6:30, but because of traffic and parking issues we didn’t get to our table until about 6:55. Our waitress was super accommodating to get us the happy hour pricing—and was just really sweet and friendly. I wish I had caught her name. We ordered one each of the happy hour tapas plates: the hummus trio, the pork belly, the mussels, and the latkes. Then followed up with a small Caesar salad, a side of fries, and wings. Everything was good, nothing was outstanding. I’ve been there before, I will go back again."

"My colleagues and I had reservations at 12 noon and was seated promptly. Since Burmese restaurant are rear in the area, we were really looking forward to this experience. While we weren't in a hurry, the restaurant was. Drinks were ordered and they pushed to have a food order at the same time. We choose to wait to order the food until the drinks were brought to us. We ordered the Burmese style beef and goat stew as well as the Moh Hin Ga (Fish Noodle Soup). While the sauces of the meat stews were nice, it wasn't spectacular! The stew meats were definitely not tender. If you enjoy tough meat, then these dishes are for you. Additionally, the Moh Hin Ga was lacking in flavor and in my colleagues words: "would not order it again". Also, soft drinks and iced tea and refilled complimentary. Given the rush and the below average experience, will not be going back. Given there their great Yelp ratings, there seems to be a lot of patrons that like it. Maybe we just attended them on a bad day or the normal Chef was not present that day..."

"We were promptly greeted when we arrived for our reservation. Our table was outside which was our request when we made our reservation. Lauren, our server was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the Salmon Salad. The salad was delicious with fresh strawberries, pecans, asparagus and zucchini bread. The children’s meals of chicken tenders and French fries were amazing. We were very happy with our meals and our attentive server. I highly recommend Grindstone on the Monon for a nice dinner."

"I'll start by saying my daughter and I were sat at a table where there was a horrendous smell of urine. When we left, they at least had the smarts to leave Table 22 vacant.I wanted a table for 2 people. I gave my name and cell number to get a text. I was told it would be a 25 minute wait, but it was more like 5 minutes. When I was providing my information, I saw an elderly male walking out with a walker and his pants were wet around his waist. I felt sorry for him on the inside. I never thought in a million years I would be seated where he probably just sat. I'm not saying that happened, but there was a horrific smell at Table 22. I didn't notice it immediately as I had my mask on. After placing my food order and getting my drink, I took my mask off. Oh my goodness, that urine smell hit me like a ton of bricks. My server was very apologetic. One of the managers not so much. I was told other people in the restaurant told them of the smell. So why in the world would you seat someone there. I was told they saw no liquid. I don't care; it could have dried up depending on how long the guests sat at the table. I did complete a form on the incident. Since it was 7 PM and my daughter was really hungry, we sat at another table to eat our food. My meal was overcooked probably because it sat long waiting. Another manager offered a replacement but I was ready to go. They did take off about 20% from the bill. I basically gave that to the server as he was really nice. Since the food wasn't that great, I more than likely won't go back ever again. I already told a friend about my experience. She will never go."

"The Ruben was fantastic. My friend tried the Parmesan Wings with Blue Cheese and I have to say, that Blue Cheese was the best I've ever tasted. The price per person ranges from $10 to $20. "came first to the brunch on Saturday. far too loud and crowded. they allow people to stand the bar with drinks that make the space even more narrow. we sat in one of the high tables next to the bar area and there were people standing right next to them and rub against them, and the restaurant was so loud that it was impossible to hear among you without screaming. eating is good, and good portions. the flat plate was good, and the donuts were very delicious. the service was ok-ish given the price point of the restaurant; no one has refilled our water, which was not good. the very loud environment was a break for me. different from coming back in the future."

"We came in for an early dinner on a Saturday evening and were greeted by the hostesses. One was very kind, but hard to hear. The other walked us, very slowly, to our table, and even though she'd spent several minutes getting the menus together at the front door, she'd brought one dinner menu and one brunch menu. When she returned with the correct menus 5 minutes late and we asked if we could move over one table for a more private spot with a better view, she didn't answer, but muttered to herself while setting up the table. It was a strange interaction, but the new table was worth it: we watched as the sun set and the lights came on on the Waterway. Our server was a delight, though and paced her visits to our table nicely. We started with the buffalo cauliflower wings: cornmeal battered and very tasty. I ordered the Goose's Acre Signature Salad. All of the ingredients were fresh and delicious and paired perfectly. My husband ordered the Fish and Chips: perfectly cooked fish with a light crispy tempura batter. The coleslaw looked weird and was mid, as was the brussel sprout side. The Pellegrino came in a bottle and was so refreshing and bubbly."

"Had balsamic chicken salad with Gorgonzola and candied walnuts. 10/10. Chicken cooked to perfection. Delicious. Had it like 4 times now and it's always amazing! We also had the pork sliders with fries. Best sliders I’ve ever had. The food here is no joke. If you haven’t eaten here, you’re missing out. Big portions and reasonable prices too. Came back again a few weeks later and had the charcuterie flatbread. So good. Whomever is in the kitchen at Oggi's, they know what they're doing! Cold beer on tap is an added bonus!"

"My favorite restaurant in the suburbs. Amazing food, services is always fantastic, the drinks are well made too! Chef Maria is the best and will come around asking each table if they are enjoying their meal. Kevin, the bartender makes the best smoked old fashions. The ambiance is perfect- inside and out! They have a big patio space during summer months that's right along the river. You can also have events there on the second and third floor. We continue to use this space for special occasions and events. Space is beautiful. You can't go wrong with spending an evening at Bleuroot."

"The restaurant is fantastic! I took my dad there for his 85th birthday, and we had an amazing experience. Our waitress, Stacy, was wonderful and made our visit special. We didn't start with any appetizers, but when we finally ordered dinner, the food was delicious and the portions were generous. The busboy did a great job clearing the table throughout the evening. "Wow! This was my first time having brunch with the girls, and it was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the location is beautiful. "Overall, the food was average. The burgers were large, however, you pay a premium for French fries. I would rather they just inflate the price and make French fries standard. The included item is potato chips. My mom and daughter had the burgers and said they were pretty good. I had the stuffed shrimp, which didn't have a lot of flavor. I could tell I was eating shrimp and crab, but there wasn't much flavor. The portion was four stuffed shrimp. However, the shrimp were of the medium variety that I would buy at my local market. They were ripped with a tablespoon size crab ball. I had to pay a premium for cheese on my potato. This dish was $29, which I was prepared to pay, but was disappointed when it came out. Or meal was $95 (including a 15% tip). I'd also like to add we all had water to drink. I think the bill was a tad too much when two people in my party had a burger. The best part was dining outside right at the water. I drove from central Virginia to dine there, and am not sure if do it again. Just so so."

"we stopped here on Friday in the early afternoon with our two dogs. we love dog-friendly restaurants and they let us sit outside and brought our pups immediately some ice water. Many of the staff came by to welcome and visit our dogs they loved. they love dogs, so this has made their day. my hubby ordered a vegan burger w/ fries and I ordered a small house salad without cheese and an order of well-made fries. the salad came with a cheese on it, so keep it. I got a fresh cheese and we dig in. the vegan burger was a little smart for me, but my man enjoyed it. the pommes were good that they are fancy pommes they call Belgian fries. the dogs also loved the fries: we also had drinks. I had a pineapple cider and a glass moscato, while naming an ipa and a flight of behave, most ipas I believe. we had to wait until 5 o'clock to order the vegan cauliflower mac n' cheese, which is only available after 5 o'clock. we were pretty stuffed at this point, but had a few tastes of it before we asked for a box and brought home. it was good, not great and something too salty. it was good the next day when I added a little balsamico vinegar to cut the saltiness, some soy milk, nooch and protein pasta nudels. I have made the cauliflower and butternut quesh bits to make it smooth and we have enjoyed it for lunch."

"Horrible food and even worse service. Had reservations for restaurant week. Sat at the table for ten mins before the waiter even bothered to come by to ask us for drinks. Throughout the entire meal the waiter would take our drink orders and then never come back with them. The manager even came by and said she would take care of it and bring our drinks, only she never brough the drinks either. However when one of us went to the bar to get his bottle of beer from the bartender the manger was extremely quick to come to our table and berate us for going to get our own drink we had asked for several times since we arrived. For restaurant week options, I ordered the steak. They cooked it like it was a pot roast. I ordered medium rare but with the way it was cooked when they brought it out I almost thought they brought me ham. Also about a third of the meat was just fat. Over all it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any restaurant. The worst service of any place I have ever gone. Looking for a new place for restaurant week, avoid this place at all costs. If I could give it less than a star I would."

"Note: This experience was via DoorDash.My wife and I dont splurge on DoorDash much anymore, but we were so stressed this past week we decided to indulge. I have a gluten issue so I had to scour DoorDash for places with gluten free options. I stumbled upon Burgerology which I felt was fate since someone was talking to me and mentioned it this past week. Kinda pricey, but I know food everywhere is plus the DD fees.I ordered for myself, my wife, and my daughter. For me I got a medium rare cheeseburger on a gluten free bun, cheddar cheese, onions. I asked for honey mustard on the side. My wife got a medium rare cheeseburger on a pretzel bun, cheddar cheese, and sautéed mushrooms. My daughter got chicken fingers and honey mustard on the side.The food got here and it was a huge disappointment. It was all wrong. They had switched all the ingredients on my wife's burger and mine, which is further an issue due to my gluten allergy. Not only that, but they forgot my onions. She bit into what she thought was her burger at first and it was way overcooked. That's when we realized something was off and realized the ingrdients were all wrong. I also didn't get my honey mustard, nor did my daughter. On top of it, I tried a regular fry from my wifes food and it tasted burnt.I called the restaurant and the girl was very apologetic. She said that sometimes DoorDash orders come in wrong. I've never had this issue with any restaurant and we've used DoorDash for years.Luckily I was able to get a refund from DoorDash."
