Parking: The parking lot is spacious, with designated handicapped spaces for easy access to the diner. Wheelchair accessibility: My husband used a wheelchair for many years, and this was a great place for us since access was smooth, and the owner and staff were incredibly accommodating. I can’t emphasize enough how kindly they treated my husband. While the exterior doors don’t open automatically, the staff were wonderful about holding the doors open for us, which is a big help for caregivers. "Very fast and friendly service, the food was amazing and one of the only times I've gone to a diner with free coffee refills and the coffee doesn't taste like water.The serving sizes were large and well worth their price and I'm so sad that I found this gem of a restaurant a week before moving away from valley stream.If you're looking for a lovely place for breakfast/brunch look no further!I've yet to try their lunch/dinner but I had their Quiche as well as their corned beef hash and Caesar salad. Boyfriend had pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Very yummy 10/10 would go again.Also watching the connection that the waitresses had with some of the customers was so wholesome it made my heart explode.Just hearing one of the servers as she saw a regular and looks at him and goes Having the usual Another was talking to an elderly couple that were on a date and treating them with so much kindness and respect. "You just lost a customer. Previous excellent service doesn't make up for a horrible meal. The edible items were chicken-fried steak and coffee. Home fries, soggy, mushy, tasted like freezer burn. Eggs had a floral taste French toast, cold and hard The manager (David? had an opportunity to make it right and blew it. I will never be back. EDIT: I'd like to clarify a few items: 1️⃣ I did not ask for any item to be replaced. I get it; it's a busy morning, and not every meal will be perfect every time. So I'm okay with that. 2️⃣ I did not ask for a discount or a free meal. When I mentioned some of the problems with the meal, I informed the waitress that I was okay with paying, but I wanted to make sure she knew so she could let the kitchen know. When the manager started nickel-and-diming my check, I understood that he didn't get it. I've been here many times and have been more than happy with the service and food. He could have apologized for the horrible meal and said don't worry about it; it's on us this time. I would have insisted on paying for my coffee, left a nice tip, been on my way, and would have returned in the future. Pity."

"I discovered this diner a few weeks ago and was immediately impressed! The service was excellent, and the food was plentiful and very tasty, whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. However, I don’t know what happened last night, but I was really disappointed! I ordered stuffed mushrooms, and my friend ordered the Romanian steak. The portion was large and looked delicious, but unfortunately, the mushrooms were severely undercooked. They had a strange taste. I wanted to send them back to be properly cooked because for $24, I expected to enjoy my meal. My friend's steak was supposed to be well-done, but it came out medium-rare with a lot of pink in it. She sent it back to the kitchen, but when it returned, it was still very pink, so I didn’t feel comfortable sending my meal back. Her baked potato was barely cooked and hard as a rock. It seemed like the cook was in a rush and hastily prepared our meals; it was only 6 PM, so it couldn’t have been that the diner was closing soon. We wanted to get takeout containers so we could cook our meals properly at home. I really loved this diner, and I hope this was just a one-off issue with the cook. We stopped going to our regular diner after years of consistently receiving undercooked meals, and I even asked our waiter if they had recently hired a new cook, as I suspected the poor chef from our previous diner was now working at this one."

"We had just arrived in New Haven for an afternoon exploring the Yale campus and were searching for lunch close to our hotel, the Graduate New Haven, and the nearby parking garage. The restaurant caught our eye with its clean appearance and a lovely outdoor patio, but we opted for the cooler, less crowded indoor seating. We started with a Caesar salad to share. He ordered a chicken gyro, while I went for the traditional lamb gyro. Both were absolutely delicious and came in generous portions. The staff was friendly and welcoming as well!"

"I have an order for the last minute catering, a very small work meeting, just needed an antipasto and cheese tablet. I ordered at 11:30 a.m. and found out that the event was canceled at 1:30 a.m., I contacted them immediately to cancel the order for the new date or preferably to change it again. they canceled the $200 order, refunded me $20, and told me they would be happy to accompany our later event, but the cancellation fee is still because they had to throw away all food. a few things. the restaurant industry was hit hard because of the pandemic, I know that. people like me cannot afford to do like these all willing nilly. I know. they had to throw away all food?...Why was there only a 2 hours gap between me to put the order and find out that the meeting was canceled delivery was not planned until 3:30. again, maybe. I'm wrong! but if they had said. if we would still charge them all the amount and throw away all the food, I would have just taken the food and put it in the refrigerator. Finally, nowhere...absolutely nowhere is it written the due customers will be when an order is canceled with this place. they gave me $20 of a $200 order, and we're talking about cheese and olive. it looks like this place has really good food, but I will never order from them again, and no one will be in my company. it is not my fault that someone was sick and that was canceled, not their fault, maybe a better communication and customer service."

"I forgot to take any photos during my visit, but this cozy diner offers an extensive menu. My husband ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich while I opted for the shrimp. The portion sizes were enormous—much larger than I could possibly finish. Our meal included a salad, main course, coleslaw, fries, and dessert. I ended up taking the salad, half a dozen shrimp, and a generous serving of rice back to the hotel with me. Although the menu promised 8 shrimp, I counted 20 on my plate! "This restaurant is quite disorganized. The host threw the menu on the table and simply said, "Here you go." Some of the workers appeared to be idle. However, the young girl and busser on Sunday night were excellent, while the rest of the staff seemed too preoccupied to serve the tables. My family ordered dinner and did not receive our soups and salads for our entrees until after we already had our main course. The food was average, and although we did finish most of our plates, it wasn't outstanding. The waiter also tended to drop the check off without confirming if we wanted anything else."
