"We had just arrived in New Haven for an afternoon exploring the Yale campus and were searching for lunch close to our hotel, the Graduate New Haven, and the nearby parking garage. The restaurant caught our eye with its clean appearance and a lovely outdoor patio, but we opted for the cooler, less crowded indoor seating. We started with a Caesar salad to share. He ordered a chicken gyro, while I went for the traditional lamb gyro. Both were absolutely delicious and came in generous portions. The staff was friendly and welcoming as well!"

The food was authentic and delicious! Our server was very nice as well. Seems like a small family-owned business. It was very quiet in the restaurant, but the food definitely made up for that! They offer catering as well.

The falafel was perfectly cooked, not those hard little balls but fresh, lightly deep-fried, soft, and full of flavor. The lentil soup had a homemade quality that showed it was made with care. Both dishes were so delicious that I couldn't resist trying the baklava, which turned out to be just as delightful as the meal itself.

The food was very good and fresh. Large portion for a good price. I took off one star because the older guy whom I assume ownes the place was outside smoking in customer seating. He was on the phone and never even said hello. I told him I ordered and he told me the total. Not great customer service but everyone is allowed an off day. View menu

We were walking around and saw this place and walked in to check the spot. After a small talk with the staff we decided to sit in. It was Sunday evening and we were the only ppl dining. We had a mix grill plate (chicken, lamb kebab and kafta) food come with rice, salad and humus. Food was good and so was the service. The place has an authentic middle eastern environment. I will recommend to give it a try.

We made a reservation for six people through OpenTable. When we arrived at the scheduled time, we found the restaurant completely closed and dark. It was evident that they hadn't been serving customers that day, and we shouldn't have been able to make a reservation at all. This led to significant inconvenience and embarrassment for us, as we had to scramble to find alternate dining options on a busy Saturday night during parents' weekend.
