"As someone from California, with high standards for taco and Mexican food, I would rate this restaurant 3 out of 5 stars. Despite the rating, I would definitely return as we are staying nearby for a month. We tried a variety of meat options including a Big Barbacoa Burrito and three different tacos (asada, pastor, and carnitas). The barbacoa and carnitas were flavorful and tender, while the burrito was served with lettuce, cheese, and sour cream, similar to a combo burrito from Taco Bell but better executed. The mild tomatillo salsa and spicy salsa were delicious accompaniments. The pastor and asada weren't quite what we expected, but they were still enjoyable. Overall, a solid taco truck in Lansing. Next time, we will try the breakfast burritos and sopes. The side of rice was also a hit with our child."
