"I absolutely adore this restaurant, from the inviting atmosphere to the incredibly authentic food! If you’re like me, you know how difficult it is to find truly genuine Mexican cuisine these days. If you’re looking for Tex-Mex, this isn't the place for you! Everything here is made from scratch, including both flour and corn tortillas, which are prepared daily. You can really taste the freshness and the care that goes into every bite. Just a heads up: their margaritas are made with wine, but who doesn’t appreciate a strong drink?! The restaurant is spotlessly clean, too. I highly recommend this hidden gem! Be sure to tell them Stephanie sent you! Enjoy, everyone!"

We found this restaurant on our way back home to Dallas after looking at reviews. I can honestly say their food is delicious and some of the best authentic Mexican food I’ve had. Don’t let the fact that it’s tucked away keep you from eating here. You won’t regret it. Service was also great and food came out quickly. We will definitely be adding this to our stop next time we’re in Conroe!

Just finished dinner. So full I think I need to go to bed! The food and service was great!! Don’t let the bad reviews deter you. The red and green salsas that came out in the beginning were homemade and so flavorful. Same with the chips. Food came out quickly and all 4 of us were very pleased with our food and the good prices. Every meat you can think of… Bonus points for multiple vegetarian options. We enjoyed our meal on the cute little patio outside. Glad we stumbled upon this place and gave it a try! What a great restaurant! I did a quick search for Mexican food near me while in Conroe and luckily Angie's Mexican Restaurant popped up! It's a small place located in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. The decor, cleanliness and exceptional customer service make it stand out. I really liked the green sauce which bad a little kick to it. The queso Blanco was also great, rich and creamy with a great presentation. We tried tacos Al carbon chicken and the Tex Mex cheese enchiladas. Both tasted wonderful and the portions were big for a great price. Definitely worth another visit when I'm in town again!

I want to add to the positive reviews. We've dined here multiple times, and the consistent quality of the food and the friendly staff keep bringing us back. Everything tastes like it’s made from scratch, even the tortillas and the salsa served with the chips. The fajitas are always my favorite—cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The beans seem to be made with lard, which reminds me of my childhood. I believe this is a family-run establishment, and we are happy to support their hard work. My hope is that as they succeed, they continue to maintain their commitment to great food and service. Highly recommended!
