"Disappointing Service Experience at Ginos
As someone who values both quality food and exceptional service, I recently had a disappointing experience at Gino’s in Dyer, IN. Despite making a reservation for 5 pm, our party was not seated on the patio as requested. Instead, we were placed in the back of the restaurant, far from where we wanted to be. We expressed our dissatisfaction to the hostess, who gave conflicting explanations and did not accommodate our preference, even though there were empty tables on the patio. After speaking with the manager, who acknowledged the mistake and apologized, we realized that we could have been seated outside as we had initially requested. Despite the delicious steak we ordered, the subpar service overshadowed our dining experience. This was not only disappointing personally, but also reflected poorly on the guests we had invited from out of town."
