Kenny and his wife which are the owners of the Asian Tea House are outstanding very welcoming, friendly and let me tell Kenny is one funny guy. "we bought a groupon for $100 and had to visit twice to redeem it. 1. when we tried to use, they said we should buy 5 hibachi or more to use it our mistakes) so that we ended there 2 times to use the voucher. next time we ordered 5 hibachi to use the group, and this time the bill came close to another 100 after the application of the group, during reviewing the article on it added them 1/2 of the bill to congratulate which in the rule outside the bill total. they argued that, as we have applied groupings, they have to include the congratulations in them. not so big exp given the fact that we had to drive over 60 miles to come to dinner there!"

"Overall: I love their menu at least all the things I have tried so far they have fantastic vegetable options that actually are delicious. Their ice cream is so amazingly creamy and the flavors are blend well if you like multiple flavors to have two different flavor scoops like my sister and I do. Best dishes in my humble opinion: I love their shu mai, sesame chicken, healthy jumbo shrimp with vegetables and their mei fun is the best of any place I have ever gotten taken out from. We order a lot especially while we were in the process of moving. They are friendly nice, clean, polite, and deliver and their delivery people are good and polite. Plus the food is has been fairly good quality the many days we have order Other positive things: For Disabled or low mobility people they have delivery that works out fine and I don't drive so that is good for me as I can't walk more than a few feet and use a wheelchair/ walker due to mobility issue from a past injury. One day I hope to be able to go there in person and see the ambience up close as I used to go to a diner with my family as a child and it looks so much like it (at least from the street when I have passed when I did have a ride into Ridgewood a few times in the past. Vegetarian options: They have tofu, vegetable only options and they have dishes that are vegetarian There's a nice mix for vegetarian or meat eaters/ fish eaters because their food is good with or without fish or seafood or chicken, and their tofu was nice so if going with friends or family who are meat eaters or vegetarian there is a good list of options Dietary restrictions: I can't eat eggs they always leave them out I also can't eat much meat or poultry and no red meat due to health issues and I never had an issue with it all the times we order. Also my food is never too spicy which is good as I have digestive system issues that are very delicate, the food is not suffering from a few adjustments Kid-friendliness: They have kid favorites like grilled cheese"

"I wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars, but this app only allows up to 4 stars as it only offers vegetarian options and is not a fully vegetarian restaurant. Although I would prefer a fully vegan restaurant, I am thankful for the choices available. I always order the Veggie Combo roll (with asparagus, avocado, cucumber, tofu, and mango) and the Mango and Avocado roll almost every week! They are delicious and surpass any vegan sushi I have tried, including the local all vegan sushi spot, and are also a better value. I highly recommend trying these rolls, you will not be disappointed!"

"My sister and I visited the restaurant at 8:30 PM. We were warmly welcomed, and my chair was pulled out for me. I ordered the Mafia Roll and the Fantastic Roll, both of which were delicious. "I had an extremely disappointing experience due to the poor customer service from the manager. I ordered what I believed to be fried rice, but was served plain white rice instead. To make matters worse, the owner refused to issue a refund, which feels incredibly unfair. The overall ethics of this establishment are lacking. The rice was bland and tasteless, and the owner didn't handle the situation professionally at all. I felt a sense of racial profiling as an African American customer. I've seen other reviews mentioning the owner’s willingness to refund, but my experience was far from that. I cannot recommend this restaurant at all; it deserves zero stars. Save your money and time by dining elsewhere."

"The manager is atrocious and has the attitude of a wet cat. My husband and myself took our 3 children to have dinner here and to our surprise our meal was over 200 dollars. We have never spent this much at this restaurants in our lives. When looking at the bill we were charged full price for the fried rice and many other add one. Also because the restaurant has went downhill since the management change, there were only two table in the restaurant at 6pm. The waiter decidedto charge us gratuity on our order because he said we were a party of 5. Two adults and 3 kids (one child is just over 2 years old. This was an unacceptable way for the restaurant to try to con money out of it customers on slow days. Iwill never set foot in this restaurant again because of its cheap antics. Also when the manager was confronted about the issue with our check, she told us to get out and not come back."

"I've been a loyal customer for many years, but today I was quite disappointed. The almond chicken tasted burnt, and the chow mein was terrible. The crispy noodles were overly greasy, the shrimp was mostly batter, and the portions were smaller than I remembered. Before the pandemic, the food was excellent, but since then, both the quality and quantity have noticeably declined. We've found a new favorite spot on Sprague and Freya that will be our go-to from now on. Thank you for all the years, Ming Wah, but I think it’s time for us to explore a new restaurant."
