"It was quite honestly the worst experience we’d ever had in a restaurant. We had never been here before and bought a Groupon to try. Being a surf shack, we were excited about the lobster rolls and fun types of sushi on the menu. Before we had even sat down, we were informed there was no lobster at all that day and no sushi either.. So, fine we would find something else. We asked if there was an open bar and the answer was yes. But they were “out” of wine, had no citron vodka or ginger beer and when we ordered bourbon on the rocks, it was delivered in shot glasses with ice chips that were mostly melted. However the Sangria I ordered after had no ice at all. t was just so strange. We ordered shrimp cocktail that were served almost warm. Not even a little bit chilled but instead seemed like they had just been cooked. The salmon salad I ordered was good enough but served without dressing and when I asked for it it took maybe 10 minutes to get it, even though there were only two other tables in the whole restaurant. My fiancé ordered fries with his meal and didn’t get them either. He also ordered the lamb lollipops for his dinner and asked for medium rare and they were well done but seasoned really well so that made up for it. After we got the check, I noticed there was an additional salmon charge added to my salad that was already priced for salmon being on it. That had to be fixed as well. I worked in restaurants for almost 20 years and am very understanding to what happens in establishments that are working against forces out of their control this was entirely inexcusable. Horrible experience on just about level and needless to say we would never dream of going back."

"we had a pleasant family dinner here. eating was good and atmosphere was fun. definitiw a kitschiges cajun chain restaurant. The thema is quite heavy in your face when you get through the door? but this is part of the fun. we ordered a cheese and chicken fondue to start. came with garlic bread to immerse in it. it was really hard, but delicious. the Jalapeno chicken was okay, not as exciting as he hoped, but pretty good. buttermilk chicken baskets were good. came with mais, pommes and hush puppies. the chicken was tender and the brot was the real deal. not excessively fat. child meal was very economical! if they have a child with a healthy appetit, I strongly recommend ordering from the adult menu. raw oyster were not the best. we regret to order them, but we have finished them. would have been nice if they had been hot. we didn't ask, so I think this is with us? fish basket was very nice. the teig was good and the fish was fresh and fluffy. cajun tricky fish was excellent! dirty rice was perfect, étouffé was on the spot and the black tilapia perfect. service was good. we were never left with empty glasses, but the empty glasses stacked on the table. our courts of our starters stayed with us all the time. once a superior came by and made a lot clear. manager also came a few times and seemed really nice. we never asked to take those plates, but it would have been nice if they were. I shouldn't have to ask for my opinion. overall we had a good experience and enjoyed our meal."

"This will be a great evaluation. My wife and I are looking for a date night spot in the town of Peachtree a little over a year and a half since we moved here. We have tried fun places professional places midprice places and even diving. So far, everything was over. Georgia shrimp company always had people outside the veranda and I know that it has been in Fayette county for many years. When we went some Thursdays, we did not expect the experiences we received. Thanks to Covid and Personaling problems, we had to wait for our evening meal, but we understand that exactly that is how the world is and the host was incredibly courteous and friendly to us. So we went to the bar to take a drink in front of our table. The girl at the bar mixed an absolute perfection of a martini with blue cheese olives! For my wife and for me cast a German half of Eidson as the Germans do. I know it may seem like a stupid point, but the bartender did not only know how to prepare mixed drinks, but also how to treat different beer styles and served it in the corresponding glassware. These are small touches that really talk to the quality of this restaurant. When we came to our table, the waitress was incredibly friendly and very welcoming. We immediately ordered the fresh shrimp appetizers as well as our main entrées the shrimps and grits as well as the shrimp sample for my wife. The restaurant was very clean and simple and elegant. There were no crumbs on the floor there were no sticky decorations on top, and the table is not sticky! The wine list is as extensive as the drinks menu in general. A large fish tank near the back is also exceptionally expected. While we waited, fresh bread and real butter came to the table. Again, this is a small thing that doesn't really make a difference to people who care about the quality of every ingredient that goes to food. The appetizers for excellent. The service was incredibly fast and never dived all night. The shrimps and grits were absolutely fantastic. Some of the best I had in many years. They were light on the salty side, but overall they were so rich and tasty, but I could eat only 75% of the bowl. My wife shrimps or cooked for perfection, each variety was made so good. We must have said that we found our new day-night spot six times. For an unlikely journey to a new establishment, it met and exceeded all expectations. I don't think this place to get enough attention and praise: but come to think about it, I don't want more people there to make my wait longer! There is no question that this is one of the best restaurants we found."

"It’s a shame to post that the Chesapeake Inn is one of the best seafood places in the area. We dined there four times in last year and recently for the ALL YOU CAN EAT SHRIMP yet not until we left and saw the kitchen help eating the same special at the bar did we realize how sub par our serving was presented to us in comparison. Very shady. My suggestion is to eat in the dining rooms. The downside is the bar area is where the HAPPY HOUR specials are ordered and served which in turn results in smaller portions. And furthermore, when we asked the server for another serving of all you can eat shrimp to which he replied “ Is this your second or third helping of shrimp!” What does he care? Remember, it’s ALL YOU CAN EAT! It’s bar shrimp, medium at best and $26.99! There are no seconds on the SIDES. A pittance portion of vegetables and child’s portion of rice and the price for their frozen seafood is overwhelming for the underwhelming portions!! Never again! And those happy hour crab cakes need mayonnaise, more herbs and a LIFT in respect to their size and taste! It’s sad when restaurants add these useless garnishes/dry julienne cuts of unknown fresh veggies on my plate. Look at the pitiful stuffed shrimp! Nothing creative, all cheap plate props. That kale salad was plopped on the plate, $14! Do better, Chesapeake Tavern. Parking: The large parking lot serves three restaurants on that corner site"
