"The food and service are always amazing! I had seafood gumbo and peach bignets. So delicious. Every bite. I also love their fried shrimp, red pepper cabbage, and French fries. The seafood pasta is outstanding. I've never had anything there I didn't like. I could just get an order of all sides and be happy mac cheese yams, rice gravy, greens, red beans rice are all so good. I only have the atmosphere a 3 star simply because I think they've outgrown this spot, more customers than seating."

"Upon entering this establishment, we were treated to a breathtaking view of a basket full of toilet paper rolls, while also sandwiched in-between the busy kitchen door and bathrooms. The drinks were sub-par. The seasonal sangria was nothing more than a watered down glass of cheap white wine with a light dash of cinnamon sprinkled on top. The habanero honey wings did not feature any sauce, and were bare naked chicken wings. The black bean veggie burger was listed with a choice of cheese, however, we were never asked to choose and it came dryer than the Sahara Desert along with being well overdone. The Good Life Burger, however, was completely underdone when asked for medium rare. Finally, the side of ranch, which is a 50 cent upcharge, was the equivalent to plain greek yogurt. There was absolutely no flavor to it, which didn 't seem possible up until now. The fried mac and cheese bites were decent. Overall, our entrees were left half eaten, as we were eager to get the check and leave."

"It’s unfair to compare Flavour as it is now compared to what it was under the original ownership, and those who have done so in the reviews are out of line and clearly think too highly of their own opinions, most of which are poorly formed pastiches of original thought. We ordered all four courses plus dessert, and the dishes were brought out in a timeline appropriate for a structured, multi-course meal. Those complaining about wait times clearly have either no experience in elevated dining, or have a secret dislike of their own company or the company of their friends or partners. The courses themselves were plated beautifully and tasted wonderful, and we had the opportunity to overhear the chefs create some dishes on the fly for a vegetarian family (to great result, from what I heard). Is Flavour what it used to be? No, and that’s exactly the point. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening, the food and the service, and I’m excited to see Chef Gomez’s vision continue to grow and evolve over the coming months."

"This place is so weird and so wonderful, and as a tourist visiting Memphis for a few days, I am so happy to have found it. The menu is expansive, covering all sorts of odd cuisine — soul food, tamales, wild rice dishes, burgers, etc. There is a children’s menu with a great deal. And then the dessert! Jake’s Original Hot Fudge Pie is so damn perfect that I ordered a second, and I’ll just pretend my kid helped me eat most of it. How that brownie or whatever chocolate wonder sticks to the plate like that is a mystery I will not stop contemplating anytime soon."

"The service was absolutely the worst. My friends with us had been there before. They said, It 's okay... not great. They were right about the food, which was just mediocre, but the service last night was horrendous. The girl was so slow and they really weren 't busy considering It was a Friday night. The food took so long to come out that all four of us said, What is happening or what 's the deal at different times. My smothered chicken was so overdone that it was all breading and dry. My friend said that her chicken wasn 't bad. We waiting a super long time for another round of drinks and equally as long for our check once we asked for it. Ugh, won 't be going back there... too many other good places in the immediate and surrounding areas."

"Food was excellent, as always, but our service was some of the worst I’ve had in a long time. It wasn’t very busy but we had a reservation and we were sat right away. After waiting about 15 minutes with no one coming to the table for our drink order, we flagged down the hostess who told us she forgot to tell our server we were there. At that time, the hostess took our initial drink order and then never got our drinks, which was only water and a Diet Coke. Once our server finally came over, we ordered our food and a cocktail. I watched my cocktail sit at the bar for about 10 minutes before another server finally checked the ticket and brought it over. After we got our food, our server didn’t stop back to check on us until well after we finished our meal and were waiting on the check. By the time she came over, we had been done eating for 15-20 minutes. We were never even asked for a refill on our waters. Our consolation was a comped appetizer, which was appreciated, but I wouldn’t say it made up for the horrible service. We’ll certainly eat at Tupelo Honey again but probably not this location."

"My husband had the meatloaf with cheese grits and Brussels sprouts all were a homerun. I wanted to be a little healthier and so ordered the Mountain Harvest Bowl with added chicken. The bowl ended up being mostly cauliflower florets over cauliflower rice. The other veggies from the description were scant or missing altogether. The chicken came later after a reminder and was cold and disappointing. Would love to see some better healthy options, like the yummy black bean burger that used to be on the menu"

"Food is good but lacks seasoning and flavor. It’s on the cusp of being awesome but just not good enough to justify a return visit when there are so many great restaurants in S. Tampa. Atmosphere is nice but service has much to be desired. The staff was more interested in closing duties than taking care of the customer that were still there at on a Saturday...and it wasn’t busy at all. Our server greeted us after minutes by saying “I didn’t even see you. They haven’t sat this table in an hour so I didn’t think to look.” She never checked on us once she delivered the food so basically service was **** which made the entire experience sub par. Not interested in returning."

"I was in town for the Penn State/Ohio State game and found this restaurant on Google. I absolutely loved it. The server was attentive and on point, the manager was interactive and pleasant. The staff seemed to be in sync the whole time. Now onto the food! The taste and value were great. The smoked pork chop was ridiculously good, the Buffalo Mac and cheese was very good, and the homemade chips and dip for Philly were delicious, especially as a chip dip. The beers were crisp, fresh, and delicious too. It was nice to be able to try flights. Thank you for the great experience."

"I have coveted loaded fries, and their menu did not disappoint. I ordered the "animal" fries, which is their vegan take on my old In N Out favorite. They also have buffalo ranch, bacon cheese, and chili cheese (all vegan). I also ordered the soulfood sushi roll. I'm not used to making "cream" based recipes (cream cheese and mayo-based sauce,) so although it was delicious, it was too rich for me. I would definitely try other roles! You are now fully VEGAN! "Everything about my 2 visits here were wonderful. The wait on a Sunday afternoon was less than 5 minutes. The staff was amazing and they covered my waitress when she was absent because she was waiting on a large party. I must say I'm partly biased because there were Brussels sprouts and I love them. We had the taco trio and it was so good. The ham and cheese wontons were a little salty but the Brussels salad helped bring the salt done. The egg rolls were pretty good but I prefer not to have the texture of pork in an egg roll. The crab cake was yummy and so were the okra coming from someone that gets slimy okra ????. Shrimp and grits .... Omg!!!! The best part about the biscuits were the jam. The biscuits were just ok to me. The drinks were so good. Definitely not watered down and for the price I would have been really upset if they were."

"Amazing food and service. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and it feels like you’ve stepped into an Irish pub in Dublin. The menu has a nice variety of traditional irish fare as well as Americana cuisine. The owner was out doing table touches and working just like the employees, which is refreshing to see and makes me all the more impressed with the establishment. We have already made plans to return again so we can sit on the patio and try some of the other entrees on the menu we were not able to try the first time. They also know how to pour a proper pint of Guinness, and the wings were some of the best wings I have had in a long time. If you love a good burger make sure you try the McCormick burger with truffle fries!! Keep up the great work!!"

"Whenever I visit Pittsburgh, I always make it a point to stop by this restaurant for lunch. Their chicken and waffles are absolutely delicious, and they have an impressive bar selection. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, and the general manager, Michael, has always been incredibly polite and genuinely seems to care about the establishment. I highly recommend that anyone in the area give it a try."

"I love the salads at this restaurant. Although it's commonly known as a burger joint, I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious salads here. The stacked salads are huge, but you can also order a smaller portion if needed. There are plenty of ingredients to choose from to customize your salad. The appetizers are also top-notch, especially the fried mushrooms which I am a big fan of. Overall, this has become one of my favorite spots to grab a meal."

"My bf and I made reservations here on a Sunday before we went to a Falcons game. When we arrived, the hostess seemed as if she was reluctant ti seat us per our reservation as she did not give us a wait time like she did everyone coming through the door. It had a nice vibe and I liked the decor. After about 15 mins of waiting, I had to ask again about when we would be seated and then we were seated right away. The server, name u known), although a bit friendly, was not very good at her job. She didn’t really give us any time to look over our menu before asking us what we wanted. We didn’t receive a drink menu so I had to ask what they offered and she didn’t make any suggestions. About 15 mins later, my bf received the coffee that he ordered, but my mimosa was not given to me. I figured it was taking longer since they seemed a bit busy. After another 5 mins of my server not checking on me, I asked her if it was almost ready and I could tell she had completely forgotten about me. I ordered the pancake platter with potatoes and my bf ordered the fish n grits. By time I received my drink, our food came right after. My bf got everything that came with his, but I was kissing my potatoes. I stopped my server and asked bout my potatoes and she said she would go get them. 15 mins later, she never returned. When she finally did, I stopped her to ask about them, and there was a look on her face that clearly said she forgot, but instead she told me that she stopped by the kitchen and asked but couldn’t get any. I don’t see how everyone else in the restaurant managed to get all their food, but she was denied my potatoes. Any who, the pancakes were good, the chicken sausage was cold and I have no idea what the potatoes tasted like. My bf, on the other hand, enjoyed his entire meal."

"Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our recent dining experience. The appetizer was delicious, but the expensive bread basket was only okay. The corn muffins were burnt and the biscuits were dry. The mac and cheese was overly oily, causing stomach discomfort for my daughter. The Jambalaya was also overwhelmed by chili oil, affecting the flavor. Thankfully, the fried chicken was excellent and saved the meal. We have always enjoyed dining at Bubba in the past, so we hope this was just an off night. However, we will likely wait before returning, as Des Moines offers many other great dining options without such excessive use of oil."

"What bothered me most about this experience was that the manager never came over to apologize for the service issues caused by the kitchen; that responsibility fell solely on our friendly server, who had nothing to do with the problems. At the very least, the manager could have addressed the issue for my colleague, who had just finished a 13-hour shift and left with his boxed wings. As a dedicated Google reviewer, I take my role seriously, especially when traveling. I usually refrain from writing negative reviews unless I visit a place twice, as all restaurants can have an off night. However, there is no excuse for the number of mistakes we encountered, and it was disappointing that no manager took a moment to acknowledge or apologize for such poor service. Despite everything, we each spent an average of $30 and tipped the server well."
