"It's great having a proper Irish pub in town, and McCormick's Pub and Restaurant in Wayzata hits the mark. Overlooking beautiful Lake Minnetonka, this place blends traditional Irish vibes with awesome Continental and Nouveau American dishes. We had a Guinness, French onion soup, tartare, fried clams, a tasty burger on a potato bun, a bottle of white wine, and ended with a hazelnut mousse. My daughter loved the mousse. The staff at McCormick's are top-notch. Drew, our waiter, was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Cait was hilarious with my daughter, making her laugh and feel special. My daughter asked Cait for a to-go box for the first time ever, and Cait even let her put her crayons in it. That made her day! Sitting on the patio, with Lake Minnetonka in the distance and hearing the chatter of passerby’s was simply wonderful. It’s a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy life. We had a lovely evening dining outdoors with a beautiful view of the lake. Our server, Staci, was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. We began with a delicious flatbread pizza to share as an appetizer. Two of us ordered the chicken pot pie, while the others opted for Brazilian BBQ and a burger. Everything was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone!

As a Wayzata native, McCormick's Pub is a corner gastro pub that I've come to treasure when I visit home. Gone is Sunset's, gone is Bellecour, and long gone is its predecessor, Blue Point... but McCormick's remains as a fixture on Lake Street and is always a favorite! I'd also recommend Maggie's Restaurant down the street for pizza night. That was always a family fave growing up and I'm so appreciative that it's still here! View menu

Outstanding food and service. Had a special Brazilian steak plate for the entree, plus truffle fries, ham/cheese/potato soup (truly outstanding! , and a crème brûlée. Our waiter Drew gave great attention while being friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely find our way back the next time we were in Minneapolis. Edit- we went back again the same week! Food was just as good and Harper was a wonderfully friendly waitress. Exceptional staff at this restaurant! Kudos to whoever hires and trains them.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. The bar area was lively and enjoyable while we waited for our table, and the dining experience felt more intimate. We had a group of ten, and our waiter provided excellent suggestions. We all ordered different dishes and sampled each other's meals, and we were thoroughly impressed with what we received. My daughter has a seafood allergy, and the staff was attentive enough to inform us about potential cross-contamination and which dishes to avoid. As a lovely final touch, the chef shared a recipe for a side dish we requested, and we were grateful to take that home with us.
