"amazingly friendly staff, we have tried a lot of their menu points. everything on the menu is appropriate for the portions. their ramin shells are hearty and fantastic! the Mongolian beef/ chicken is something of the best I have eaten. chow fun had an amazing depth of taste. bbq pork and bbq ribs are amazing at the bottom right. asian garden is a firm value for her money without giving up taste and service. we will often return here."

"I told dude that answered the phone.2 pork lomain one boo veggies.. With pork fried rice no veggies in that.. Lunch time 1-5-18.. Dude said he put peas and carrots in the rice but didn't tell me he put mad onions in it.. My dish had now veggies than my girl's..I don't like onions, bean sprouts, carrots and cabbage. I had all the above..I looked at the 2 dishes.1 had a lot of veggies so I have it to my lady.i asked her how much stuff she had in hers cuz mine was loaded with everything I told them not.. They were good up until today. Guess I won't go to them for awhile.. Need another Chinese restaurant that understands the commands"

"Recommended Chinese restaurant and decided to visit. This destination was at 50% full as we were greeted and escorted to our table. What initially struck me was the dirty carpet. Soon after being seated drinks were ordered. The waitress was very nice but not attentive. Drinks were soon served and dinner was ordered at that time. Food was brought about 10 minutes later. The plates had generous amounts of fare and ensured take home seconds. I had Mongolian beef, sweet and sour pork, shrimp and fried rice. The Mongolian beef was the best part of the dish but only average. The breading on the shrimp and pork was undercooked and not light as expected. The fried rice was OK. The bathroom was dirty (bordering on gross) and needs a thorough cleaning. It is not ADA accessible."

"Was in the mood for Chinese food. Found this place on the map, walked in and the staff was sitting at a table making dumplings with no gloves on. They looked at me and said nothing, finally I tell them it’s just me for lunch. They take me to a sit and walk away. They show up with water and little chips like thing. I was given a menu and give me 10 seconds to order. While being told that they have no lunch menu at 11:30? I said ok and ordered from the dinner meals. The dumplings were delicious and the lo main was no incredibly salty I didn’t eat it. I asked for the bill and the food to go. Not one server or employee comes to ask me if I need anything or if I’m doing ok. Fine I don’t really like to talk to people anyways. They give me the bill I pay and leave. The employee walks out and literally asked me for a tip? I said u didn’t take my order or provided any service for me? Plus u guys have a sign at the door that states u take 3% from credit card sell? Overall some of the rudest most ridiculous experience I have ever had eating lunch. As I was leaving the ladies that took care of me when I walked in where sat at the table eating nuts and having coffee. But this dude wants me to leave them a tip? I’ll never be back, I’m not from the area. But the service was horrible and it makes sense where there was 3 people in the restaurant."

"Order a delivery order, when I received it they forgot half the food I ordered. When I called back the lady on the phone was so rude and didn't want to hear that she forgot my food. When I asked for the rest to be delivered she charged me because she didn't add it to the previous bill but when I added up the amount she did. I needed the other food so the rest of my family could eat so I agreed to pay. It was a $6 meal and she said it would cost $8.75 for it. She tried to charge me almost $3 for taxes, when it should only of been $0.52. She was so mad that I called her out on trying to over charge me. I can add so I know what amount I should be charged. It took almost 40 minutes to receive the rest of my order. We order multiple different chicken meals. However they were all the exact same chicken. Same sauce and all. Now for the taste, literally the worst Chinese food any of us had ever eaten. Spent so much money and we all had to throw it away. Do not waste your time or money. They will steal your money and give you old food that you cannot eat."

My wife is very particular about her Chinese cuisine, and I have been on a mission to find a replacement for our previous favorite restaurant since we moved an hour away. The first place that managed to meet her standards was this restaurant. I am relieved that I no longer have to travel so far for our occasional Chinese dinners! While the exterior may not be the fanciest, the restaurant has a fast diner style that is authentic to what it is. The decor may not be impressive, but that's not what's important when it comes to dining out. The focus is on the delicious food, which rivals some of the best hole-in-the-wall places in the city. "Absolutely wonderful! I rated the decor a 1 simply because it wasn't relevant to our experience, as we had our food delivered. We're on holiday in Champaign and placed a $20 delivery order from Empire around 1 PM. They delivered our food in under 30 minutes, and we even had enough left over for lunch the next day! The sesame chicken was cut into bite-sized pieces, making it perfect for our girls, and the Moo Goo Gai Pan was among the best I've had, loaded with a variety of vegetables, especially mushrooms. Fantastic flavors, excellent service, and overall a great experience! We highly recommend giving them a try!"

"We ordered takeout and were greeted by a very pleasant woman who was a joy to interact with. I was thrilled to discover cream cheese wontons that were meat-free, and they were delicious. The veggie fried rice had a great assortment of vegetables that were cooked just right—not too soft and not too firm. The mixed vegetables with tofu were also tasty, featuring a nice variety. It would be nice to have the option to choose between steamed or fried tofu, but that's a minor point. My friend really enjoyed the sesame chicken and remarked on how tender the chicken pieces were. We will definitely be returning!"
