"Interesting place. It's Japanese and Italian. Definitely came for the sushi though. I ordered for pick up for NYE. Ordered a variety of items to try. I ordered the Rock In Shrimp Fried, Cheese Wontons, Shumai, and Hibachi Noodles. For sushi I ordered the 2011, NYC Roll, Jaguar, and the Tampa. The Rock In Shrimp Fried was just fried shrimp and no sauce. Not great and would not recommend. The Cheese Wontons were good and basic. Nothing special or different. The Shumai was fried. It was good. I've only ever had it steamed so it was different than what I am use to. The Hibachi Noodles were good. The yum yum sauce that comes with it was missing something. It was only runny. The 2011 roll is deep fried. It is salmon, cream cheese, avocado, spicy Mayo, eel sauce, and yummy sauce. The NYC Roll is yellowtail, cucumber, scallions, and smelt roe. The Jaguar roll is deep fried. It is eel, cream cheese, and avocado. The Tampa roll is fried grouper, onion, and Mayo. All of it was good except the NYC roll and the Rock In Shrimp. Would not recommend these two items."

"We ordered 2 pizzas the end of March and didn’t leave a positive review. Both Pizzas were not the high quality that we have experienced from Masseys. We ended up throwing both pizzas away. The store manager or owner called me and said they were sorry and told me he would put a credit associated with my number or account. He told me to make sure I called in to order my pizza the next time because that would be the only way I could get the credit. I called in to order last Friday the 7th. No credit on my account so I cancelled my order. This was very upsetting. Not what I was expecting and he evidently didn’t give me the credit he promised."

"Yes, this is the same as the former CDB's in Lakeland, FL, and it's owned by the same people who ran the one in Tampa, FL. If you've been missing their famous Hard Hat Sandwich or their pizza, it's definitely worth the drive to visit here. We drove all the way from Plant City, FL yesterday evening, and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent! We had a small Chef salad with their homemade Italian vinaigrette, a Hard Hat sandwich, and a small meat pizza. Everything was fantastic! If you haven't been here yet, you should definitely give it a try. They essentially operate as three restaurants in one. They also offer sushi, as well as Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine, including Japanese Hibachi where the food is cooked right in front of you. We will definitely be returning soon."

"I knew I wanted a local bakery for my winter wedding last December, and Nino did not disappoint! They were fantastic and worked within our budget. We had a great time during the cake tasting, which I did on the same day I went dress shopping, and we ended up choosing raspberry cream and carrot cake—both were absolutely delicious! Nino crafted a simple yet elegant cake, and the florist complemented it beautifully with winter flowers. I can’t recommend them highly enough! The family that owns the bakery is wonderful. My sister also hosted my bridal shower there, and it was the perfect venue for our little gathering. The food was delicious, and the service was even better."

"We felt like Italian, so we found this little gem nestled in Carthage's town square, so we thought we'd try it out. Historic brick bldg, comfortable vibes, everyone was so friendly and smiley. We ordered an XL Canadian Bacon, Bacon Pizza, Garlic Cheesy Bread, and a side salad. We wanted to take some home as well, which we had plenty of leftovers for later. We were there around 1pm, lunch rush maybe. Plenty of seating. Outdoor seating available too.The food was delivered in a timely manner. Hot, fresh, delicious! The husband loved the Sweet Tea too. Even when groups started piling in, we were never left alone to long by our server/waitress. The restrooms were clean and fully stocked! Cute photo op corners. It was my first time at a Alfano's within our area. Not sure if all of them are privately owned or not. Thank you for such a wonderful first experience! Hit all my marks for a 5 Review!"

"Unfortunately, I have to say I am rather disappointed by my first ever experience at this restaurant. It was a combination of things that made for this a not so nice lunch with my Mother who was out with me to have a birthday mother daughter lunch. The person who served us is the owner. I knew this because I had read about her in the paper. The impression I got from her was that she could have cared less to have me have a good customer experience. The bill came to $48.04 and I gave a $10.00 tip. Mom wanted to get a dish she had had there one time before which I thought was the alfredo. Turns out, this was not the dish, and unfortunately, for us, we had ordered a second order to go on that when we placed our order. The alfredo she got was $9.50 sans the chicken. It came with garlic bread and a house salad. The garlic bread and house salad were fine but the salad dressing blue cheese was a kraft packet blue cheese not so nice. But, to their credit, my philly cheese sandwhich was fine; albeit, the large sandwich I chose was enough to feed a family of 4. The alfredo was nothing more than a cup of penne pasta and what appeared to be a jar of alfredo sauce dumped on it. The tiramisu we got two orders was a rather small portion for $5/each piece. I was very unhappy about the alfredo and when I brought it to her attention that we may have ordered the wrong item she did nothing to offer an alternative. Also, the Pepsi, was like fructose syrup on melted ice yuck! But I think what was really most disappointing was the fact that I had to do the work for this person. There was literally no other customers in the restaurant when we arrived at 11:00am. Customers did start coming in around 11:20 or so and we were out of there by 11:40. I had to literally ask our server for the check then take the cash payment to them and beg for to go bags literally how did she even expect me to carry all those boxes without bags and on my to go order I had to stand in line and wait for service which she could have had ready in a bag and brought to our table. Waiting on boxes to go was also like waiting for molasses. She didn't seem to care about me as a customer and while I tip regardless she certainly did nothing to earn the $10 I left on the tab (20% . Because of this lousy reception, and not so great alfredo I doubt I will return to this restaurant."

"I haven't been to Geddes Bakery since it left Teall Ave. I decided to stop because I was visiting family up north and Geddes is on the way. There were so many delights to choose from but I bought half moons and cookies. All were gobbled up and were so fresh and delicious. I also got some elephant ears! No one makes those anymore and I haven't had one in years. It was definitely worth the wait and brought me back to my childhood. I think it's great that I can use my credit card to pay here and that's a big plus since I don't usually have cash. Anyway, I certainly will not wait so long to visit again. Besides there's so much more for me to try."

"Two consecutive and perfect. The first time the pizza was late for an address and when we got it, it was cold. But it was amazing. I can't drive and the waiting time was 120 minutes. I thought no biggie. I'm just patient. Soooo here comes the pizza man and he gave me a hot and glorious box of fantastic pizza."

"Horrible customer service!!!!!! A friend bought what she thought was a cannoli cake — it looked like it in the display case. Brought it to a friend 's birthday party, and when we cut into it, it didn 't have the ricotta chocolate chip filling — certainly not 'cannoli '.
