"We felt like Italian, so we found this little gem nestled in Carthage's town square, so we thought we'd try it out. Historic brick bldg, comfortable vibes, everyone was so friendly and smiley. We ordered an XL Canadian Bacon, Bacon Pizza, Garlic Cheesy Bread, and a side salad. We wanted to take some home as well, which we had plenty of leftovers for later. We were there around 1pm, lunch rush maybe. Plenty of seating. Outdoor seating available too.The food was delivered in a timely manner. Hot, fresh, delicious! The husband loved the Sweet Tea too. Even when groups started piling in, we were never left alone to long by our server/waitress. The restrooms were clean and fully stocked! Cute photo op corners. It was my first time at a Alfano's within our area. Not sure if all of them are privately owned or not. Thank you for such a wonderful first experience! Hit all my marks for a 5 Review!"

A few friends and I had lunch here, driving from Quincy. Every now and then, we bring along new friends to share in the delicious food that I have enjoyed over the years. On this occasion, we invited two ladies who had never been here before, and they both loved the food as well!

The pizza was great, not outstanding, but still really good. The service, on the other hand, was exceptional. We had a large group of 52 people, and all the hostesses and staff were fantastic. They were friendly, efficient, helpful, and kind. Thank you so much for taking care of us; it was a lovely experience.

I happened to stop by this restaurant today and was pleasantly surprised. I had the fantastic bruschetta appetizer, which featured incredibly fresh tomatoes and delicious bread baked right on-site. Seriously, the freshness of the tomatoes and the homemade bread are a game-changer! I also took home some of their Tiramisu, which is the best I’ve ever had. I’m definitely going back for dinner tomorrow! View menu

Our situation was unique as we had 50 people in our group. Our pizza was served buffet-style and honestly I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. Each pizza variety was really good. Good crust and not at all skimpy on the cheese or toppings. I particularly liked the Chicken Bacon Ranch. The Taco Pizza was new to me and was surprisingly good too. Try it! We will go back next time we are in town.

The food here is fantastic. I was not impressed with the waitress. Could not get her attention to get drink refills or anything else we needed. Our food was served before we could even get 3 bites of salad down as she was behind on getting the salads out. As soon as the food was delivered, she hardly even checked on us. We were a party of 6 which at the time was the biggest group there. I tried for 15 minutes to get a refill on my tea and she was too busy talking to people at another table for, what seemed to me, an extended period of time. Don't get me wrong, the food was delicious and I would definitely recommend this place for fine Italian food. Parking: Two rows of parking and located in...
