"4-18-22 Just ordered a large cheesesteak with bacon and extra cheese and mushrooms on half. Of course it comes with mushrooms on all, meat is burnt and no extra cheese. So they take the one half back that should not have mushrooms and made it again. Got extra cheese but this time no bacon. When you put the old half next to the new have, it is extremely evident that the original part is burnt.. and had no extra cheese so they gave us cold slices of cheese in aluminum foil for that half. not pleased at all!"

"I got a call from the manager a few hours before our dinner reservation. Apparently, Mother’s had left that it was opened on open table accidentally in the night of a home Sunday night football game (what exactly why I had made the reservation in advance). I assumed the manager called to tell me that he canceled my reservation, but to his credit they honored it. the service turned out to be excellent. as a guest at bengals fan we have treated ourselves both by the staff and by the many ravens fans in participation with great respect. in this time when the customer service often seems to be a thing of the last, it was great to see a device, do the right thing! I would highly recommend this situation for an entertaining night in a lively entertainment district!"

"I have enjoyed coming here for a couple of years! Jackie Boys has the most welcoming bartenders, especially Rikki, that makes you feel as home! The food is amazing! "This was my first time dining at this restaurant after hearing so many positive reviews. The staff were friendly and made us feel right at home. "After two disappointing visits, I feel compelled to share my experience. It's quite disheartening because I used to love this restaurant! During both visits, I placed phone orders. On my first takeout, the avocado I received was overripe and brown. My second disappointing experience occurred when I went to pick up my order. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes, but after waiting an additional 15 minutes with no updates, I had to inquire about it. Waiting over 30 minutes for a single sandwich seemed excessive, and the staff's response to my question was quite unfriendly. Even though they knew I was the one waiting, they shouted at me from across the restaurant, despite there being no one else in line. I found this behavior incredibly rude! After waiting 40 minutes, I believe my request for information was reasonable. I truly hope other locations are better than this one on Ellison."

"While I waited for my food at a booth, I noticed the restaurant's marijuana-themed decor, with green leaves everywhere. The sandwich options were even named after different pot strains, and the takeout bags had the same motif. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at this awesome sandwich shop. "This restaurant has quickly become my favorite sub shop in town! I have a genuine love for toasted subs, and they excel in making them. The sub in the photo is the Thai Stick, and it was incredibly tasty. I've visited several times and tried the Midwest Club, Meatball, Italian, and AK-47 subs, but my top picks are definitely the Midwest Club and the AK-47. "The food was outstanding!!! I had the Acapulco Gold and my husband had the KGB. The only reason for the 4 stars (instead of 5) is we didn’t like the music they were playing... I guess we’re a bit conservative but luckily they have outdoor seating and it was nice. Also, they were out of horseradish sauce which is why my husband chose the KGB; otherwise he would have selected something else (but they didn’t tell us they were out until they served us). The estimated order times need to be updated to more accurately reflect the actual wait times. I placed my order around 11:50 AM, which said it would be ready by 12:06 PM, but it wasn’t ready until 12:45 PM. This forced me to use 25 minutes of paid time off just to extend my lunch for a sandwich. The only reason it was finally prepared at 12:45 PM was that I went to the counter to check on my order, and they told me, “Oh, we can make it next,” suggesting that it hadn’t even been started yet. A more honest estimate of the wait time would have allowed me to adjust my lunch plans or cancel the order entirely. I usually don’t like to criticize customer service, knowing that employees aren't paid enough, but I do expect a certain level of consideration from the company, which could be easily improved with more realistic online wait times."

Honestly an underrated establishment in my eyes, I know too many people who have never been here before and they are always impressed. "First off, Quiznos is nostalgic to me, and say what you want about their advertising, but the rat thing is hilarious! Now on to the food… Sandwich portions were fine, and I ordered the chicken carbonara for reference. I was asked if mushrooms were ok, and I agreed. From there, the only conversation was, “your order is ready!” A couple of things caught my attention. First- I was not offered any lettuce, onion, etc… I found this to be odd. Secondly- I have reason to believe these subs are premade and placed in the toaster. I can’t confirm because they have blocked the sandwich line with signs and other obstructions. (This is just an observation. Third- half of my sandwich had cold chicken on it. I ate the other half right after ordering in my car for clarity. This gives credit to my second point. I plan to take the sub home an re heat it and add some much needed “toppings”. While I will most likely come back and try another sub now knowing what I know from this first experience. I’m always one to support small business and like to give honest feedback, so please take this review as a guide to your next trip in."
