We had an amazing evening filled with great drinks, service, and food. Jess and Theresa put in a tremendous effort to make us feel welcome and at ease during what could have been a stressful night. "Festive and fun decor. Unfortunately the food was so so at best. The chips, salsa and guacamole were very good, but the meals were not. Re ordered a chicken quesadilla twice as it was filled with a chicly red sauce which is the way they make theirs and neither time could they get it right, which was surprising because you just need cheese and chicken. The shrimp quesadilla was not much better filled with the chunky red sauce and large rubbery shrimp. The Baja tacos had minuscule pieces of cod, and one of those pieces had a large bone bigger than the piece of fish. All kids ordered virgin strawberry daiquiris, and two out of three glasses had old toothpick pieces in them. Needless to say we won’t be back."

"I visited Kitchen24 with my family during our trip to LA, and we were looking for a breakfast spot. After browsing nearby options, we chose Kitchen24 because their menu looked appealing. The diner vibe was great, and my husband really enjoyed the music. They had cartoons playing on one TV and sports on another. We sat at a booth, and our waiter, Nick, took our orders. I had trouble deciding between the French toast and pancakes, but Nick offered a few recommendations and was very helpful. The pancakes were absolutely amazing—so much so that my husband ended up stealing my daughter's pancakes! My brother also loved his pancakes, and the herb-roasted potatoes were incredibly delicious. Nick was a friendly server and got our orders right, which is always a plus. The manager, Cameron (I hope I spelled your name correctly), was also very welcoming, which made our experience even better. Overall, we had a great time at the diner, and we plan to stop by again when we visit LA in the future. A big thank you to Nick and Cameron for their wonderful hospitality!"

"Visited around 10am on a Saturday for brunch. Restaurant was busy but had indoor and outdoor seating available. Reservation accepted for parties of 6 or more only. Brunch menu has not only the expected dishes, like omelettes, French toast, and pancakes, but also interesting choices like huevos rancheros, eggs with bulgogi, and prosciutto toast with eggs. "Fun place for the family, watch a little bit of a game, people watch walking up and down the sidewalk, and enjoy a drink all at the same time. Food is always consistent in my experience counting, say, last 5 visits. Service has always been good. If you feel maybe not as attentive, just grab their attention, they're good about making sure they meet your needs. Parking may be a challenge during peak dining hours, and may have to park a block away. It's worth going there."

"This is actually my second time going to this restaurant. The first time that I stepped foot into this restaurant was relatively brief, so I did not take in too much of my surroundings. This time, I did. So, I can now make a thorough review! Ambiance: 10/10 The ambiance gave me the '90s vibe despite me being a 2000s baby. It was so relaxed. I like the photos that they had on their wall. It was images of famous actors and actresses. I take it that the people on the wall represent the customer 's satisfaction! It is nice to know that celebrities go to these kinds of restaurants. They also had this nice boombox and they were playing some old-school cartoons. It was just a calm ambiance. Everything is just old school. Even the list on their menu above the counter is just a throwback. I found it to be creative how they got the health permit, and letter by letter, they spelled Shake Major thumb 's up. I love their confidence in their sanitary inspection grade... There is nothing more I can say about it. Food: 9.5/10. I ordered a Harlem Classic, hold the onions, with a side of fries. The burger was delicious. I am glad that I bought two. It had an exceptional amount of cheese and a good amount of their special sauce. The fries were not for the thrills. I was not excited too much for the fries. Their fries are your standard French Fries. It wasn 't something to go crazy for. Regardless, the food that I got was tasty! I even got their strawberry shake. I take it that their red velvet was so good they ran out. I will try to make it a mission to get their red velvet shake the next time I visit. Service: 8/10 I gave the rating an 8 out of 10 because of the impression I received when I walked up to the counter. The woman at the counter was direct and brief. However, when I ordered my strawberry shake, the guy who took my order, was friendly and had a nice smile on his face. Talk about customer service. I don 't have any abrupt complaints. I was able to get my food in a timely fashion. They would call your name when your food is ready. Overall: 9/10. I would highly recommend anyone to try this classic. If you ever want to take it back to your days Harlem Shake is that kind of joint! You best believe it. You won 't have any regrets. Don 't let the street that it 's built on fool you. 124th Street may be known as one of the scandalous streets, but you won 't find that in Harlem Shake! I will be swinging by again."

"Excellent maple biscuits! Honestly, I could enjoy just the biscuit with some maple syrup all on its own! This restaurant can get quite crowded, but the customer service is exceptional. My friend placed her order before mine, but she didn't receive hers right away. I asked one of the staff members about it, and although he couldn't locate her order, they quickly resolved the issue. Once she finally received her meal, the same staff member apologized again and even gave her a gift card! I've never seen such attentive service before! It's hard to find a restaurant that offers both outstanding food and top-notch customer care. I’ll definitely be returning this Saturday! "The burgers were enjoyable, and the chicken sandwich included a fried green tomato and a special sauce, which added a nice flavor, though the sandwich was a bit on the dry side. My husband had the patty melt, and I had to taste it—it was definitely the highlight of our meal. The patty melt came on rye bread and was simply delicious. "I went there at 1:45 PM (15 minutes before closing),, after I clarified NO , my order is for here they called my name to go order for Timothy, didn 't give me enough Ranch, nor did they give me enough gravy since I was 20 minutes from home the biscuits were cold and I couldn 't ask for extra gravy, nor ranch! "I am so glad we have this place a try! The kids and I Ioved it! The cheese burger was really good. The fries are nice and crispy, if you like your fries a little more well. They also let you choose a dipping sauce for them which was a nice touch. We also tried the crispy chicken sandwich and it was nicely cooked and juicy. I was pretty impressed. The lettuce and tomatoes were also very fresh. They don't serve traditional sodas which was a fun experience for the kids. We will definitely be back!"

"East Coasters REJOICE! I apos;m from NY but have lived in CA for 20+ years and have never found a truly great bacon, egg cheese sandwich here. CA always seems to want to make it something it’s not we don’t need mayo or lettuce and tomato, and certainly not avocado or microwaved eggs. Ordered the Winston’s “sando” with bacon instead of sausage and no aioli and FINALLY. It was amazing. Bun was toasted. Eggs were fresh and well proportioned to the cheese and bacon. "Normally I have no complaints. Food is usually good and priced decent. However today I went off the norm and purchased a sandwich… big mistake. $10 for a chicken biscuit. Comes without any smashbrowns or anything. DO NOT BUY THE SANDWICHES NOT WORTH THE MONEY AND NOT EVEN CLOSE TO AN APPETITE FILLING SIZE. Very displeased with this. I have skinny fingers and the chicken is barely bigger than a single finger. The entire sandwich was a disappointment and for $10 the least they could do is include smashbrowns with it like the plates. The price difference between a plate and sandwich is so minimal it was stupid of me to think it would include enough to be considered a meal. This is more like a 3 bite snack. I’d recommend removing sandwiches from the menu at this price or add smash browns as included to compensate the cost. This sandwich did not cost them more than $3-5 to make."
