"This is actually my second time going to this restaurant. The first time that I stepped foot into this restaurant was relatively brief, so I did not take in too much of my surroundings. This time, I did. So, I can now make a thorough review! Ambiance: 10/10 The ambiance gave me the '90s vibe despite me being a 2000s baby. It was so relaxed. I like the photos that they had on their wall. It was images of famous actors and actresses. I take it that the people on the wall represent the customer 's satisfaction! It is nice to know that celebrities go to these kinds of restaurants. They also had this nice boombox and they were playing some old-school cartoons. It was just a calm ambiance. Everything is just old school. Even the list on their menu above the counter is just a throwback. I found it to be creative how they got the health permit, and letter by letter, they spelled Shake Major thumb 's up. I love their confidence in their sanitary inspection grade... There is nothing more I can say about it. Food: 9.5/10. I ordered a Harlem Classic, hold the onions, with a side of fries. The burger was delicious. I am glad that I bought two. It had an exceptional amount of cheese and a good amount of their special sauce. The fries were not for the thrills. I was not excited too much for the fries. Their fries are your standard French Fries. It wasn 't something to go crazy for. Regardless, the food that I got was tasty! I even got their strawberry shake. I take it that their red velvet was so good they ran out. I will try to make it a mission to get their red velvet shake the next time I visit. Service: 8/10 I gave the rating an 8 out of 10 because of the impression I received when I walked up to the counter. The woman at the counter was direct and brief. However, when I ordered my strawberry shake, the guy who took my order, was friendly and had a nice smile on his face. Talk about customer service. I don 't have any abrupt complaints. I was able to get my food in a timely fashion. They would call your name when your food is ready. Overall: 9/10. I would highly recommend anyone to try this classic. If you ever want to take it back to your days Harlem Shake is that kind of joint! You best believe it. You won 't have any regrets. Don 't let the street that it 's built on fool you. 124th Street may be known as one of the scandalous streets, but you won 't find that in Harlem Shake! I will be swinging by again."

Food: 10/10 I really enjoyed it. Reminded me of wayback burgers. But with better buns lol. Fries nice and crispy. Definitely worth the wait. Service: 8/10 You have to order, wait for your food and then go pick it up. Ambiance 10/10 The whole restaurant was a vibe. Some old throwback Hip-Hop kinda old school style vibe. The bathroom was flooded with posters.

I ordered a burger here, and they messed my order up. I went back to change it, and when they gave me a new one, it was incorrect again. So I went back to change it for another time, and once again, my order was incorrect. Took 40 mins and still never received my burger the way I wanted it my fries . I asked for a refund they said sure and of course they refunded me half the price.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. By far the worst thing I ate all year ! An hour and 20 minutes for a super late delivery that literally was horrible . Food quality INEDIBLE, I had to throw the whole thing out. My burger patties were over cooked and crunchy and myFrench fries was so over cooked, hard and filled with grease.. it tastes like whatever they cooked them in.. JUST BEYOND GROSS!!!!! Since I clearly won't be getting money back, enjoy one of my world famous reviews ! View menu

An amazing retro-diner that drips with style and history located in classic Harlem. The Harlem Classic was the best burger I 've ever eaten. Ever. And i 've eaten a lot of burgers. The meat is the star of the show. It 's perfect! Tender and juicy with amazingquality. I 'd swear it was made from dry-aged rib roast. The bun had just the right tooth and the pickle, cheese and saucecomplemented the beef perfectly without getting in the way. Fries were also perfect. The old-school milkshakes are excellent. IfI have time I 'll be back to try everything else on the menu!

If you compare Harlem Shake with Shake Shack, it's mediocre because Shake Shack uses better meat, and therefore, a better tasting burger and a more expensive burger. However, for the money, Harlem Shake is just okay. I would give a higher star rating if their restaurant was cleaner. Floors are just black and filthy. Dining furniture has oil residue on the chairs and table. I felt like I was dining on someone's oily body broth. Also, I experienced a live band playing right outside in the outdoor seating area, meanwhile, I am seating indoors, and the indoor speakers were playing Top 40 under high volume. It's a sensory overload. What a mess!

Ordered a burger and frose. Both were good. Burger could have used more sauce and seasoning on the patties, but overall it got the job done. There was a live band when we stopped in, which was nice. Service was quick and they seemed to keep the line going without any issues. Plenty of seats indoors and outdoors. My only real problem is with how dirty it was inside. The place could use a good deep clean and maybe more frequent extermination, especially in the restroom. There were a couple of dead water bugs/roaches in the restroom that looked like they'd be there collecting dust for a minute. That was unpleasant to see after eating, but of course not uncommon in the city. View menu

Went here on a random Thursday night. It was not my first and it will not be my last. The cashiers are always friendly. They will greet you and offer you a menu upon entry. TheyI ordered their hot mess burger and added lettuce with a side of their curly fries. The burger never disappoints and did not yesterday. Their homemade relish is what gives the burger its flavor It's so good i ordered a side of it to go. The curly fries are crispy yet soft. It's also a banger. My only critique would be their buns can tend to get soggy. I wish their buns had more structure so that it can hold the double patties and hot mess sauce. All in all I would recommend this spot as a fast casual place to go if yo...

Me and a coworker visited this spot for something to eat after our 1st choice for dinner didn't work out. I heard about this place before but this was my first time visiting. When we arrived there weren't too many patrons inside but it gradually got crowded. We initially sat outside since the weather was beautiful. However, the tables weren't sturdy so we sat inside at one of the cute booths. The décor of this place was cute. The set up for this restaurant is more like a take out spot even though they have a lot of indoor seating. You order your food, pay for it at the register and wait for you to be called to pick it up. There weren't a lot of fascinating choose on the menu. I initially wan...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
