"Jack's offers a more upscale dining experience compared to places like Lazy Dog or BJ's in the area, featuring American cuisine at moderately to somewhat high prices. The modern interior and softer background music give Jack's a hotel restaurant ambiance. We visited for a late lunch, and with the lunchtime rush over, the staff was relaxed and attentive.
The food was generally good, though, as is often the case, some dishes were more successful than others. The fish and chips were a standout, while the Po Boy and Gyro were less impressive, but that may just be personal taste. The deep fryer is clearly in capable hands, as the fried items were crispy and not greasy. The garlic fries and onion rings were both crispy and well-portioned.
Our server, Anthony, was friendly, accommodating, and attentive, deserving of the service charge. Jack's features a full-service bar with a nice selection of drinks. With both indoor and outdoor seating available, there's plenty of space to relax and people-watch—though the view is just of the parking lot, which is a bit of a drawback; it would have been nice if the restaurant were on the upper floor.
Overall, Jack's is a solid choice for a first date or a business dinner. With its upscale atmosphere and decent food, it provides an enjoyable dining experience where you can unwind and see where the evening takes you."
