"second time i came in here there was no ac at all inside. just the portable ones but it was still hot. i was so hungry, i was gonna get my fav burrito enchilado style but come to find out they ran out of chz. i said screw it cuz this location was closer than the one at warner center. this last time i came here, i ate inside and the tables were dirty, counters dirty and still no ac. im an agm myself at jersey mikes, i always prioritize getting those tables and chairs wiped down. if my employees can’t do it, i will. anyways, instead of buying portable ac’s get the actual unit fixed. the food was mediocre at best, the chz on my burrito enchilado wasn’t even melted. it did kinda mess up my stomach. but it’s wtvr. i thought coming to this location would be better since it’s closer to where i live. HOWEVER, making the drive to the location at warner center is sooo worth it."

"Yummy food. I used to regularly visit the San Ramon branch in Bishop Ranch. But then they closed down. On visiting this branch in Danville, I was not disappointed. Ordered the food and we waited for 10 mins while they made it fresh in front of us. The kitchen is clean and the staff is very professional and kind. They all wore masks properly. Due to COVID-19 protocols, the salsa has to be asked separately. Will surely visit again!"

"My husband often stops by this place when he's working in town, and I joined him on one of his visits. The food is truly fresh! The salad he ordered was fantastic, featuring purple onions, red peppers, cotija cheese, fresh avocado, and grilled shrimp. Each bite was perfectly sized. I can't praise the dressing enough; it was packed with flavor. Be sure to try the black salsa from their spotless salsa bar—I'm not exaggerating when I say it's amazing! I've never tasted black salsa before, and I don't know how they make it, but it's delicious with chips and tastes great on their wahoo tacos."

"Thank you Reese and Nicole for making my experience here at Baja Fresh a great one. I was in the mood for a good hearty burrito and oh my did I get exactly what I wanted. I ordered the Nacho Burrito with Steak. Chips on the side and used the SALSA 6 Chiles HOT! It really is not super hot for me, but was just the right amount of kick. They had my order ready extremely fast and it smelled soo good. I think that for the money, this us one of the best Burritos I've ever had at this price point. I will be back next week. Great service, atmosphere and the food is delicious. Thanks again!!"

"Overall MID food and service. No worries!!! Still yummy in my tummy... However... The entirely one thing that makes a guy choose a Baja over a thousand other mexican choices is the SALSA BAR! So why have they taken it away? Covid is over!!! Bring it back!!! And you can 't even take over 4 cups of the stuff, without a stern rebuke... I 'm a one cup per bite kinda guy so this is a total disaster. You can even see the cringe in the cashiers eyes when he has to deny you a fifth cup. You just know the manager is pulling some strings to maintain the full salsa bar pay, pockets the money, (total funny money but still) reports the money spent, rinse and repeat. He 's either some jew pinching Pennie 's, or some kind of sick twisted Iranian. This phenomenon seems to be entirely localized at this location however. I 've been to other bajas, no problems, full salsa bar, smiling customers, hard working mexican chefs, also smiling. It would appear just this one location is all screwed up, ill be there in a sec too it looks like they 're closing."

"I really like the fajitas here... I showed up to order some this afternoon and the doors were locked at 12:30. A brisk woman came out and said, Can I help you with something? I said, I 'd like to order food to eat. She said they were closed as they were working on a large catering order. She was not very nice about it... it was super weird. There wasn 't a sign or anything, just locked doors. She just came out as I was typing this and let me know they are now re-open. Weird. I already ordered online. We 'll see what happens!"

"The staff was friendly and professional, but they failed to notify me that they were out of mango salsa. When I arrived at the restaurant to pick up our office order, I was disappointed to discover that mango salsa, which we had selected from the online menu, was not available. It was a crucial accompaniment for our office lunch, and had we known it wasn't available, we wouldn't have placed the order. The absence of mango salsa left us feeling let down, and no one was really able to enjoy their meal. This oversight was a disappointment, and in the future, I will be sure to call ahead to confirm menu options."

"Edit: I returned today and reordered the Impossible Taco Combo and THIS TIME I received 3 tacos on a platter with beans and rice. There was a different cashier and this was later in the day but again, everything was delicious and I got more ofeverything for about the same price I paid the visit before. So glad I came back! Previous review: I ordered the ImpossibleTaco combo and it was delicious although it came with only two tacos and was pictured with three on the advertisement. Howevereverything was delicious and tasted very good! I will definitely be back for more!"

"I've been to this place for years, especially the hazel dell location, and I was always super happy with what I ordered! I always order the nachos that I can't get enough of it I'll never get tired of him I would argue that it's the best afteros I've ever tasted. I wish the people who write reviews would be more thoughtful and logical with what they say. I see some comments about how simply once you eat not so well tasted and the pico de gallo is cut too small, too big and yada yada. the people working hard on this fast eating place and they are certainly great people, I always had a great interaction with them. as someone who has worked with eating is sometimes prep different depending on the morning crew and it will be different, but just remember that they are treating with so much throughout the day and that applies to every almost food worker out there who really tries to get her best. Anyway, I didn't want to go to this rant there I just appreciate everything they do and I hope that they will be treated young well there!"

"These mfers.....seriously? Their cutting back.. that would be the kind/putting it lightly version. I 've been coming here twice a month for past 5 years! The bathroom water to wash your hands barely drips out water now water bill? . Several patrons were trying to figure out how the salsa lids fit on to take some to go as the tops didn 't fit everyone was getting frustrated. The nice guy up front just smirks when made aware .. like he already knew . Again their saving at every turn! Turn down the water in bathroom.. bank on people to be frustrated give up not get salsa w the lids. Then I go back to my car and this burrito literally is all pico de gallo hardly any gaucamole a couple pieces of steak tf is this!?? If that wasn 't bad enough They have noticeably went a size smaller with their tortilla. Then again I had pico tortilla Baja burrito on top of that! Smh. It was literally a Scooby snack for 13. Im talking like barely bigger than a beefy 5 layer burrito at Taco Bell. As much as this Pains me cuz I 've been going to Baja for 20 years now this is like the only location in the southbay that I am aware of but...Boycott this place if this keeps up!! Hopefully it was just a very bad day here a new chef that will get replaced or was off his game? cuz that was some utter bs! Otherwise regularly it gets 3.5 stars I 'll revise this review if my next experience is different but I feel taken to put it lightly thought the burrito felt unusually light in my bag? ugh..."

"This might be the worst burrito I've ever got in my life. They did not put it in the microwave but it is just as dry as if it was microwaved. I don't know what made them think it was a good idea to put my sour cream on shredded lettuce. I chose to get my burrito enchilados style, but I don't know where that went. I guess when they threw it back in the broiler to melt the cheese the sauce just evaporated. My wife got a Baja blast bowl and she said it too was made of sand. From now on I think we'll just stick with Qdoba. I've never got a bad thing from Qdoba. I can honestly say I will never eat here again. And I'm going to make sure everyone knows about it."

"The food was excellent, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. The older man serving the food was downright rude. When I placed my order and mentioned the sauces I wanted, he initially responded nicely, but then another impolite employee told me that I was only allowed two sauces per burrito. When I asked if I had to pay extra for more sauces or how I could get additional ones, he just said he was stating the rules. I was too hungry to argue with the old bald man, so I decided to walk away. The food was great, but the attitude of the staff made me think twice about returning."

"This is really good fast food Mexican. It's not fine dining, but for what it is, it's damn good. Covid has closed the salsa bar, which is a shame, but they'll give you little cups pre-filled when you ask for them. Everything is made fresh with quality ingredients and it's all very tasty. And the servers are really helpful and nice to me, as well."
