"After a while, our food started arriving at different intervals. We first got the cheeseburger along with one order of chicken fingers and fries. Next came our drinks, followed by the seafood Alfredo, and lastly the remaining chicken fingers and fries. The fries were decent, but the Alfredo was overly saucy and lacked any real flavor; it was quite bland and needed a lot more seasoning. The seafood didn’t taste fresh—most likely frozen. The scallops were tough and chewy, and while the shrimp and salmon were passable, they didn’t impress. As I finished my meal, I noticed we still hadn’t received our wings. I managed to get the attention of our waitress and informed her about the oversight. She went to look into it and returned with an apology, offering to bring the wings right away, mentioning it would take about 10 minutes. I felt it wasn’t necessary since I was tired and just wanted to leave, but she insisted and went to get them anyway. When she finally brought them out, they were served with a watery ranch dressing, which was quite disappointing. At this point, I simply requested two boxes to take home the leftover chicken fingers and the wings, which were so overcooked they were nearly rock-hard. We needed to hurry since we had an early start for a competition the next day. It felt like ages waiting for the boxes and the bill so we could leave. Since we were staying at the attached hotel, we didn’t make it back to our room until well past midnight. Overall, I should have just opted for wine instead because the food was not good. This wasn’t my first visit; I had dined there once last year for the same reason, and it wasn’t anything special then either. However, the restaurant's convenient location tempted us to give it another shot."
