"we can find over flower child and I was so excited to find a place with healthy and delicious vegan options. I recommend the mother earth bowl with tofu added. it was absolutely delicious! pesto and red pfeffer sauce finish the bowl perfectly. the avocado hummus was also a good starter option! very good. my man has the Thai dye wrap and said it was also really good! definitely recommend to check it out!"

"This place was ok! I tried a couple of things; the street tacos and the fried vegan chicken sandwich. I think I liked the chicken sandwich better. It taste like the Gardein brand chicken. It had a tasty sauce with kale and it came with fries. The street tacos were ok; they lacked flavor in my opinion. The place is a little pricey. The font on the menu is really small and hard to read; it's placed up high on the wall behind the register. I think it's one of those places you have to try at least once for yourself to see if you like it. There was quite a bit to choose from but the nice thing about it is that everything is vegan!!."

"Flower Child Bethesda is an excellent spot! Stopped here for lunch after seeing it on my way to work. I ordered ahead on their website and decided to try two meals (they have a $10 off $20 coupon if you sign up for emails! . The steak wrap had great flavors. I enjoyed the combination of the horseradish, cheese, and vinaigrette. I also appreciate that the dressing and greens are left on the side so that the wrap doesn't get soggy! The ginger crunch salad was exactly what I wanted it to be. Crunchy and delicious. The mint and ginger miso combo with the sweetness of the peppers and carrots yum! The salad is a good portion size too and I had plenty leftover, between the two entrees. You can sit indoors or outdoors even with online orders, and they have a cutlery station near the drinks so I could avoid using disposables while I sat and ate. Bonus points for this!! Staff were friendly and parking is easy, as it's a large lot. I very much enjoyed this visit and will be back again soon! Highly recommend"

"I requested my chicken to be cooked well done and asked for the broccoli to be steamed longer for a softer texture. However, my requests were ignored and the food served to me was prepared the same way as before. I decided to give the restaurant another chance a week later, reiterated my requests, and even saw the counter person enter them into the order. Unfortunately, the food still came out the same - the chicken was almost raw and the broccoli was barely steamed. It seems like they are unable to fulfill simple customer requests. Are they just a machine following a set program, or are there actual people cooking for the customers?"

"I really wanted to love flower child finally, with such cute decoration, an amazing menu of healthy options (including lots of vegetable options,) and a charming name, this place seemed to tickle all boxes. while the inside of the restaurant was actually beautifully decorated, eating left much to be desired. I ordered her chopped vegetables salad with tofu and it was all very...average despite the flu of vegetables that the menu said the salat should have, it was definitiw very salat forward the other toppings were all stacked on top (and, even so, still saw pretty badluster) and the entire floor 3/4 of the salats was simply salat. the tofu was also quite bland. it was marinated, but it felt like the marinade just about 0.1 millimeter of tofu penetrated, and the rest of the disc had very little taste. Although $14 is a fairly average price for an salat in dc to pay, it felt much overprice for what was in the round a bowl salat and unseasoned tofu. which disturbed me most about the experience, however, was that not everything was fresh I found several pieces of devastated salat (of which some had become yellow, some of which were completely torn into a rotten slime) and two of the very few snowbows they provided had mold on them. I don't make a Bland salad, but I'm making an salate from the head that has the potential to make me sick. everything in all was flower child cute, but really did not live until hype. I could try one of their bowls if I have to come back, but honestly, I was quite disappointed by the overall experience and I will probably try to avoid coming back here."

"The restaurant has a healthy menu, a bit pricey, and features cute decor and ambiance. Everything I ordered tasted incredibly fresh and had great flavor. My favorite dishes are the protein with two sides and the shells. I always leave feeling happy and excited after my meals, even when I opt for the steak and potato with mac and cheese (I usually choose Brussels sprouts or broccoli for my second side since they are good for you, though the mac and cheese can be a bit watery). The Mother Earth bowl with steak is my favorite, though I'm not a huge fan of the broccoli pesto. I also appreciate that the kids' meals are reasonably priced and consist of smaller portions of the same delicious, healthy food found on the regular menu, rather than the typical chicken nuggets and other minimally nutritious options that dominate children's menus in many other restaurants."

"Buttercup had a Dr's appointment in Newport Beach and I spotted Flower Child as we were exiting McArthur and new we had to eat there after the appointment. After reviewing the menu we both wanted the same thing the Mother Earth. Ancient grains, sweet potato, portobello mushroom, avocado, cucumber, broccoli pesto, charred onion, leafy greens, red pepper miso vinaigrette, hemp seed with Tofu as the protien. We called in our order and were told 10 minutes wow I love how fast it was. When I picked up the food I was greeted by a very friendly staff and was just blown away by all the fresh ingredients that were being prepped, like the tomatoes were beautiful! She asked me if I wanted a drink or anything else, i declined she processed my payment and as she was doing so I immediately regretted this decision, there on the table behind her was Rose petal Lemonade!!! I knew I had to have this, and told expressed my sorry for not seeing it sooner. I gave her back my card and ordered the drink, and she told me don't worry I got you. That made my day, and created a loyal customer who will return. The lemonade was sweet and I am glad I just got 1 to share, but it was so good! We get home and our bowls are beautiful, portions are generous but not over the top. There was a good proportion of grains, avocado in relation to the tofu and greens etc. For my tastes the grains or something was little salty, but Buttercup didn't feel the same. Priced at around $25 per person, it’s fairly reasonable for a fast-casual dining experience, but the real draw is the ambiance. The downstairs area is quite pleasant when the dining area is busy. There is some outdoor seating available, although it could use some improvement; outdoor dining is most enjoyable when the space feels comfortable, and the seating didn’t look very inviting. Overall, it's a nice venue for good company and a decent option for takeout lunch, but I wouldn’t say it’s particularly remarkable. With a bit more focus on seasoning, I believe there could be significant enhancements, as the staff clearly has cooking talent; I suspect they might be limited by their employer's flavor guidelines. It's also a great spot for Instagram photos if you have a friend with basic photography skills."

"Out of my quick surgery, and me very hungry we drove around looking for something out of the ordinary. I am a total foodie, good cook. We found Flower Girl restaurant. It seemed to have everything fresh so my eyes immediately lit on the yakasaba bowl with vegetables. My husband had his usual salad. They gave us a number and we went and found a seat very short This delicious looking salad was sat down in front of my husband, and then they sat this amazing bowl in front of me It had very juicy flavorful looking udon noodles tossed in with a variety of fresh, barely sautéed rings of carrots, bell peppers, cashews, smoked small pieces of chicken thighs, which I don’t usually eat, but these were delicious. The more I looked the more goodies I saw in the bowl. Sesame seeds, bell peppers, onions, so much I can’t remember. Now usually. Eat half a bowl of some thing and I usually take the other half home. Just not that hungry most of the time. But today that bowl was so delicious that I couldn’t quit eating it. So good I ate the whole bowl. now my hubby liked his salad also. I highly recommend this place. If you want to try something out of the ordinary, fresh scratch made in house instead of frozen things You need to try this place I give it 5 1/2 stars out of five. Y The food was reasonably priced and my large bowl of udon and veggies was about $15, and I think my husband‘s salad was about the same. Their iced tea was delicious with lots of choices of flavors. "I actually had Flower Child catered for my bachelorette last year, per recommendation of a friend and it was delicious so I was determined to try the restaurant again. I came here with some girlfriends after a day out shopping and it may have been the bestdecision I made all day because my God, the food was BUSSING!!! I got a very tasty chicken wrap (bird with the word) paired withthe red sangria with a side of the sweet corn and quinoa *chefs kiss* the sweet corn and quinoa is a MUST! "I absolutely love this place. They make it easy for me to choose what I love. You can only call ahead from the parking lot. My favorite dish is the vegan artichoke salad with lemon tahini dressing. They grill the artichokes and serve them with arugula, romaine, avocado, corn, radishes, fresh dill, and sunflower seeds. I like to add tofu to mine. The seasonal items, like the caramelized pear salad, are always extremely fresh. The Mother Earth Bowl and Thai Dye Wrap are also delicious. They are able to modify many dishes to be vegan-friendly. "By the time I realized my salad had been drenched in dressing, I felt I had to reorder. The woman at the counter was very helpful and offered to make me a new salad. I have to credit her—she was professional and seemed to be the only one who understood what was going on. However, I still don’t understand how my initial order, which was supposed to have no cheese, was handled incorrectly. Once my order was finally right, the food was good. I hadn’t intended to leave a review so soon, but after we finished eating, my friend and I went to wash our hands before leaving. While she was in the restroom, I overheard a kitchen staff member shout, “PLEASE LEAVE!” at me so loudly that the rest of the team started laughing, clearly at our expense. I’ve never experienced such poor service before. I sincerely hope management addresses this and invests more in staff training to ensure they truly understand what customer service means."

"We were in the area for an event and decided to stop at this little gem. I ordered the Cauliflower Risotto and The Avocado something or other. Lol. I honestly cannot remember the name of the wrap. The risotto was delectable! There was a hint of spice that enhanced the flavour completely. The wrap was larger than I expected and was paired with a side salad. We also tried the aged Mac and cheese. It was delightful! The cheese was sharp, but in the best way. I have nothing bad to say about this establishment. "Tried Flower Child for the first time two nights ago. My son got the steak plate well done with mashed potatoes. It was delicious. It’s been hard finding something he can eat, that he likes and is healthy. The customer service was good and the ice is like Sonic or close to it. He has not been feeling well. It was so good that we decided to have it again two nights later. This time was the worst ever. The potatoes were extremely salty. That was the first issue. Then he was eating lumps which isn’t totally unusual for potatoes and this restaurant doesn’t beat them. After eating 6 lumps of potatoes that were extremely salty, he realized they were not lumps of potatoes but huge cloves of garlic. They were soft from cooking. But 10 huge cloves of garlic in a side of mashed potatoes is a bit excessive. They were not smashed or thinly sliced. Excessive amounts of garlic can be a blood thinner. So if someone cannot have extreme amounts of salt and/or on a blood thinner, this meal could have been real serious. We will not be back.Parking: There is plenty of parking. If you take your ticket in, they will validate so your parking is free."

"The food has always been good on my visits here. Meat and veggies are seasoned well and have great flavor. I absolutely enjoy the design of the outside, and the inside. The openness of the inside dining area also adds to the atmosphere here. My only issue has ever been service. The staff is always kind and courteous so it is not an issue with their demeanor. Practically every other time I do come here something on my or my family's order is incorrect.
