After my visit today to Jon's Goodtime Bar Grill, I can confidently say this cozy neighborhood spot deserves recognition. It's a small place, but very welcoming for diners. The service was friendly and attentive. My friends brought me here to indulge in a burger lunch because they know I’m a huge fan of this classic dish. I ordered the Jonburger, served simply and cooked to medium rare. WOW! I believe this burger could easily compete with those at Miller's, The Sidetrack in Ypsilanti, and Red Coat Tavern in Royal Oak. I can wholeheartedly recommend this little tavern as a must-visit for a fantastic burger. If you haven't been yet, go as soon as you can. By the way, their menu offers more than just classic pub fare!"

"We approached the woman at the counter with smiles, but she didn’t return the gesture—she was the same woman who served me last week. I asked if it was too late to get a couple of milkshakes, and she replied that it was indeed too late, as they were closing down. We thought she was joking, but sadly she confirmed that they weren’t serving anything anymore and were already closed. In today's economic climate, it seems like a small business would want to welcome any customer, even if it meant having to wash an ice cream scooper or rinse a blender. My little brother was disappointed, but we ended up going to Dairy Queen down the road instead."

"You can't go wrong with Graeter's when it comes to ice cream. I'm convinced it's like a little slice of heaven. My favorite flavor is black raspberry chip, which is simply amazing. She also loves the s'mores flavor, which is delicious as well. You really can't beat the chocolate options here. They even have vegan choices! Their vegan ice cream tastes just like real ice cream, made with non-frozen coconut milk. The staff is consistently friendly, and the shop, along with the restrooms, is always spotless. It does get busy on nice days, but it’s never overwhelming."
