"Overall, the food was decent. However, we’ve definitely had better ribs at home. The donuts were undercooked in the center, but after being there for two hours, we didn't have the energy to send them back. The staff was friendly, but the service was extremely slow. It took 25 minutes just to receive our drinks, and our salads and appetizers arrived before that. We appreciate not having any plans afterward!"

"The pizza here is fine. We recently went here for my husband’s birthday. It took an insanely long time to get any drinks (including Diet Coke and ice tea in addition to beer which was flat and mixed drinks made wrong). I’m not exaggerating it was easily 20 minutes or more. Food was an extremely long wait. We sat down at 7, we were not eating until 8:30. Food came out wrong and my husband was then up all night feeling unwell. We liked this place in the past but won’t be back. Also, server seemed to not care, multiple times we asked for extra napkins, never received any. He also lacked basic knowledge about the menu (can I sub broccoli rab instead of having Brussel sprouts). I mentioned I am vegetarian and specifically asked that there be no sausage in my broccoli rabe, it was delivered with sausage. We sent it back. Then we were told it’s all made together so ok I said nevermind. Then 30 minutes later broccoli rabe came out w no sausage. ?? It was made with jalapeños and banana peppers and was so spicy we couldn’t eat it. The garlic bread on the supposed-to-be-but-tasted-nothing-like-it penne vodka was insanely salty and also couldn’t be eaten."

"The dining experience was great. Our waitress was so awesome and offered great recommendations. The restaurant practices anonymity as the seating booths are partitioned for a bit of privacy. Our meals came out in minutes, didn’t wait long at all. The food was very tasty, delicious and filling. I’m from out of town, but will most likely be back for more great food. My only recommendation is on the brisket sandwich, the meat was tasty yet it was served a bit cold. The ribs were fantastic and sides were equally good."

"Nikola's was fantastic! My husband and I visited Nikola's on Telegraph Rd in Southfield, Michigan to celebrate his birthday. Despite not having a reservation, the staff was able to accommodate our party of 22 in the same area. We only had to wait about 7 minutes before being seated. Our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous, and his recommendations were spot on. I ordered ribs, chicken, shrimp, collard greens, cornbread, and pasta salad, all of which were delicious. The BBQ sauce was especially tasty. The portion sizes were generous for the price. I highly recommend Nikola's and will definitely be returning in the future!"

"I 've been here twice in the past two weeks and both times were the same except for what I ordered. The first time I went I had a dish under the category Comfort food . My hubbie and I split the meatloaf and corn cake entre which is big enough to fill both our bellys entirely. My first visit went so well I returned the following week for lunch and I enjoyed the dish I had then too. My hubbie had the broasted chicken and I had the Malibu turkey wrap. We both went home with leftovers. For the quantity of food on each plate the prices are more than fair. The waitresses are kind and knowledgeable about any questions or concerns you have. The Metro Grill Bar is a date night must."

"Old school gyro, Italian beef, hot dog joint. I've passed this place many times and have never been in. Well, the fries were crinkle cut and thick N Crunchy. Perfectly done. Nice size order too. The gyros sandwich was good and plentiful with meat. I did the sauce on the side to keep things neat to eat. Meat was hand trimmed off the spit and had a nice crispy texture. Thinly sliced tomatoes and onions were easy to bite and overall this was a solid choice for a quick lunch. Next time I'll try the beef. Oh, they had some unusual sandwiches like the Italian gyros with marinara red sauce, giardinera, mozzarella on Italian bread that seemed very interesting. Even a southwest gyros. Cool stuff."

"My wife and I used to be huge fans of Dreamland, but it seems that the quality we once loved is no longer consistent. The tips and fries are my favorite dish when they’re available, and while they were fantastic about two years ago, now it feels like a hit-or-miss situation. Sometimes the tips are cooked perfectly with a delicious sauce and great flavor, but other times they’re just mediocre—either dry or lacking in taste. The service was decent, but we experienced several instances of running out of drinks and not seeing our waitress for long stretches. I’m not sure if they were short-staffed or what the issue was, but we tried to remain polite and give her the benefit of the doubt. Overall, it's still a decent spot for lunch, but there’s definitely room for improvement."

"I bought the $22 9oz brisket burnt end plate, and chose coleslaw for my 2 sides. It came with 2 nice buttery toasted breads. We got a nice mound of brisket. It's enough for 2 people who eat moderately. I shared it with my 15 yr old. The meat was nicely sauced and flavorful...not much smoke flavor though, but it was still tender and delicious. Coleslaw was nice and creamy. This is my first time eating from this place. I ordered through Uber Eats. I am well pleased and satisfied. I'll order again!"

"The food is fantastic! I ordered the Rib Dinner and the Pulled Pork Dinner. The portions of ribs and potatoes were generous (I think they even gave us extra potatoes), but the portion of pulled pork was smaller than I expected. If it had been more substantial, I would have given them a full 5 stars. Maybe they were running low on pork and compensated with extra potatoes—I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. I will definitely be ordering from them again, and I highly recommend their food (this is the restaurant where the ribs fall off the bone!)."

"This place was incredible! My partner is a chef at Lake Ozark, and we truly appreciate good food. Everything about this place was fantastic. We ordered two appetizers and three main courses. My partner enjoyed two liters of beer, while I had three High Noons, and our total bill was only $83. The photo captures everything we brought home. We're currently driving back to the boathouse, which is about an hour away. My only suggestion for improvement would be to replace their current queso with a block of white Velveeta melted in a crockpot with some salsa, particularly for the pigs in a blanket nachos, which could be priced at one dollar or even a dollar fifty. Alternatively, they could use shredded melted cheese instead. I would recommend changing the cheese they currently use."

"While I was waiting, the bartender had to leave to deliver an order to a nearby hotel, and I was left waiting. Thirty minutes passed, and my order still wasn’t ready. I had to ask two different staff members how much longer it would take. Eventually, they came out to inform me that they were out of banana pudding and asked if I wanted something else. I told them to just give me my food. After another 15 minutes, the bartender returned and apologized for the inconvenience, but that didn’t make up for the fact that I had been waiting for an hour to receive my meal. I finally got my order at 8:18 PM, which made me late returning from my lunch break and still hungry, as I had to get back to work. This was my first and last experience at Dreamland!"

"What a great place!! Such friendly service, great atmosphere and new friends.. Visiting from out of town as the opposing team, the people could not have been more inviting. Our party of 6 got split up, so we sat next to a couple other groups while we were there and they were all SO nice. And the BBQ is the best I've ever had, tender fall off the bone.. So simple but SO good. And the sauce was perfect. Don't forget to save room for the chocolate or banana pudding, it's worth it. I don't know what to rate here, Alabama or just the restaurant. Five stars to both!!"

"I called to try to place an order for takeout. Not sure who I spoke with, but it was a male employee. I asked if they still had the deal for the large pizza and cheese sticks for $14.99. I guess this deal was outdated and the price went up which is totally understandable. I immediately got an unhinged, rude response. The employee kept yelling at me that it wasn 't $14.99, IT 'S $20.13! . I was trying to tell him that I 'm fine with that, I 'll pay the extra four dollars. I couldn 't even get a word out as the employee kept shrieking at me over the phone, repeating 'TWENTY DOLLARS, THIRTEEN CENTS ' as if I 'm incapable of understanding the English language. After being berated like this, I simply told them I 'm no longer interested in placing an order. I won 't ever try to place an order here again."

"I wouldn't even call this Barbecue. Nothing is grilled or smoked. It's all cooked in an oven. Brisket is greasy, but it's tender. No rub and not smoked. Hardly any flavor. Sausage was okay, if you like oven cooked sausage. The coleslaw was runny but tasted okay I suppose. The potato salad was the best to me, but even then it wasn't that great. There's no room to sit and eat. I ordered to eat in, but everyone ordering takeout wants to sit at all the tables so I had to eat in my truck. The employees do nothing to correct this. To me, there should be room for people to eat in and the people getting takeout should wait outside or stand. That's just poor business practice. I definitely do not recommend and I definitely will not be back. Your money is better spent someplace else."

"I can't say anything positive about my experience at this restaurant. The service was awful; they charged me $11.00 for just six small bites, and the fries were overcooked and dark. The manager was rude, and I left feeling unsatisfied and still hungry. It was a complete waste of both money and time. The customer service was poor, and to top it off, the menu outside was outdated. They charge high prices inside for tiny portions, which feels like false advertising. I also had to pull aside and wait an extra ten minutes for my child's meal, with no accommodations offered. I will definitely not be returning to this place."
