"This was the first time eating at Angeloni's. Never knew this place existed if it wasn't for social media. Our server was Jacob and he made the night out very enjoyable. The food was out of this world. My wife got the Fig Salad as a appetizer and she talked about it all the way home. Pizza was the best Bar Pie in New Jersey. We were a fan of the other famous Bar Pie in Orange NJ and this Pie blew them out of the water. Everything was spot on. Definitely our new pizza spot. We see why Bar Stool gave them 8.8."

"Dion's has great food, simply as that. We love getting their pizza and the pastrami sandwiches are top notch. Their pizza sauce has great seasoning to it and the toppings always seem fresh. The subs are on deliciously toasted rolls and packed with the good stuff (and messy so watch out! . This is one of those places where you feel like you are getting every bang for your buck and want to come back for more. Now I get the location is less than ideal for those living more west, but we drive about 15mins for Dion's and to be honest, I never felt like it wasn't worth the drive. Make sure you call ahead if your picking up, and if you dine in you'll find great seating and a very accommodating staff."

"I used to eat at Papa Angelos, when it was in a different location, back in the late and I remember it being pretty good. I've been planning to go back and try it again and finally made it over there today. My first impression of the pizza was disappointment. The toppings were on top and it didn't appear that there was even any cheese on it at all. When I took the first bite I decided the crust was pretty good but as I got further into the slice, disappointment set it. We ordered a supreme and the amount of meat and cheese on the pizza was absolutely pathetic. "I ordered takeout with a friend; she chose the Baked Ziti while I went for the Steak Tips. I specifically asked for my steak tips to be cooked medium rare, but they arrived well done instead. The steak was practically inedible. The baked potato and breadsticks were just okay, and my friend's Ziti was also only average. I had ordered from Steak Plus Pizza in the past and had a good experience, but it had been a while since my last order. I noticed that some of the menu items they used to offer are no longer available. Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering from them again due to this disappointing experience."

"Horrible costumer service and horrible management. Spoke to the “owner” about a online order mistake looking for a refund before they made the food. The “owner” said he was not going to do anything because it’s my fault?? Absolutely not. The food was yet to be made, and I was not driving over an hour away while 35w pregnant to pick up an order this man refused to refund. This happened on Thursday April 18th around 4-5pm. I will be taking further action because this is absolutely ridiculous."

"So, Italian Cafe was one of our favorites up until just now. They’ve changed their menu pricing and now don’t offer side salads with entrees COMBINED with higher prices. One of our favorite things about Italian Cafe is that it’s a whole meal for one price. Good food, reasonable price, salad and garlic knots included. Well, I don’t know if it’s because of supply chain issues or inflation or both, but they’ve decided that now a side salad is an additional $4.50 instead of increasing their entire menu prices by a percentage to compensate for losses. Not only that, but as of right now, June 11, 2022, their website is under construction so that you can’t see the changes, the restaurant doesn’t even have printed menus with the new changes, the online ordering apps HAVE BEEN updated though with the new ‘salads not included’ pricing, as well as a super limited menu. Lasagna is NOT on the DoorDash menu, as well as any veal dishes and seafood except salmon. Who has an Italian restaurant and doesn’t offer lasagna or baked pasta like manicotti, stuffed shells, RAVIOLI for delivery? We had to call the restaurant to order what we typically do through the app, PLUS an extra $13.50 for side salads because they are no longer included (as a side note, on the DoorDash menu, you can choose to order your side Caesar for $4.50 or $5.50 depending on where you select it). We absolutely LOVE the food here, but I do not appreciating the handling of this business transition to recoup costs. We all understand having to change with the times, but keep your original business model in place and offer complete meals for a reasonable cost and your full menu for delivery options."

"What a great place for food. A very clean place. Enough room for 250+ people. A band stage. A separate bar area with table seating too. The large dining room boast about 20 tables,a bar and band stage. You can also sit by the riverside view. All the help was friendly. Food was great and the place was clean. "After receiving a kind reply from the owner, it's time to leave a genuine review. After a night of drinking and dining at two other places, we weren't ready to call it a night just yet. Pizza and drinks seemed like the perfect solution, and we were not disappointed when we stumbled upon 414 while wandering the area. The pizza was delicious (and still available late), the beer selection was impressive, and the karaoke singers, while not professional, were still entertaining. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely return when in the area again. Especially if we can arrive earlier for another round of pizza!"

"My family and I order from this restaurant regularly. Every employee I have had the pleasure of dealing with, every delivery driver who?s dropped off an order- all have been extremely nice and considerate. Every single item on the menu is absolutely delicious, if you tell them you want your item done a certain way they will remember the next time you request it! It?s the little things that make toninos unlike any other restaurant in Hamden. I feel that if no other restaurant existed I wouldn?t care as long as toninos still delivered orders. Show love to these people they care about hospitality in a way that is unique to them it?s an amazing experience. I recommend the steak and cheese it?s the f?n best!"

"I ordered a small cheese pizza, but it was made with the sauce applied only on top, which I hadn’t requested. The description didn’t mention anything about the sauce placement. The pizza itself was disappointing, as it had very little cheese and tasted mostly like bread and sauce. The Cheesesteak Egg Rolls (2) were quite dry and not enjoyable. On a positive note, the Chicken Fingers (5) were good—crispy and well-seasoned."
