"I went with friends for lunch. Two of them got the Chop Salad and I got the Reuben and fries. Everyone was very happy with their meals. I don 't get a Reuben often, but this will be my go to place when I have a craving for one. The service and staff are friendly, patient, and helpful. The restaurant and the bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. Give this place a try, you won 't regret it."

"The dining experience was decent but quite pricey. My wife had the fish and chips, which were good, but I was taken aback that they didn’t provide any vinegar. My clam chowder came in a rather small bowl. Our waitress didn’t refill our water until the very end of our meal, and the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. While they suggest a 20% tip, I don’t feel it was warranted. It seems that the emphasis is more on presentation than on the quality of the food."

"Had a house cocktail, the salmon entree and a dessert. High marks for my food and drink. The salmon was cooked perfectly... like melt in your mouth good. Each piece of the meal made sense and was delicious. It was a good portion of food and I was definitely full at the end. My partner had the halibut fish and chips. He felt it was nothing special, comparable to the chain restaurant Mo's version and therefore seemed overpriced for what you got. The service was okay. I had pretty much eaten most of my salmon before I was asked how everything was. Fortunately it was amazing otherwise I would have been waiting quite awhile to fix anything. Had to wait long time for help, never asked if I wanted another cocktail, and had to flag down the server for the tab after finishing our dessert. Server in next station was rocking it so it really highlighted our lack of attentive service."

"our great experience began with a phone call directly from the restaurant after booking a sat night reservation on the open table app. They called us for "people just don't leave their tables to move our rswp 30 minutes back. many other restaurants let us just wait. we're here early and they were busy! the host who called us immediately knew who we were and put us on a big table. I thank her for the heads. our culinary experience was just as good. fast, tasty and affordable. we will definitely come back because they took care of us and try out the rest of their menu."

"my man explained the fried cats in the row to be the best he ever had. He is 63 years old and was raised in the south, so he knows what he's talking about. tender white catfish is deep in a perfectly crispy horny batter with a side crispy okra, sky! we also had the garnel and grumbs loaded with plump garnel and tasteful andouille sausage. Do not miss the margarita, a new twist on an old favorite and the cumberland cucumber, a refreshing summer cocktail. waitstaff is friendly and efficient. we enjoyed live music on the terrace at the community tables, a great opportunity to meet the locals."

"Had a reservation for Easter brunch at Beasts and Brews this morning. Went there and got seated as there weren’t that many people. 45 mins later, our order was still not on our table. When we asked the server for an ETA on our food, she goes ‘I have no idea. We normally have a full kitchen but only have 2 in there right now.’ Later on, after 5 mins, she approaches us and says ‘there is still one ticket ahead of you.’ Normally, I understand food staffing issues. But (1) we made reservations so they know people are coming, and (2) we could have been told how long the wait is for the food ahead of time. I’ve even had restaurants call me ahead of time (morning of) apologizing for canceling my lunch/dinner reservation later that day due to staffing issues. "When we first arrived on the Big Island we were recommended to Huggo's. It was conveniently located next to our hotel. We were quickly seated when we arrived on a Wednesday night. They had a fantastic drink menu and I had to break my tradition to have one of their drinks of the day. It was very yummy! Our service was incredible and the food was also amazing. We sat down right at sunset and could be a very romantic dinner spot and a great place to have a wonderful meal with friends. I ordered the Huggo's Signature Teriyaki Steak which was cooked to perfection! As a land lover there are limited land lover options but you can't go wrong with the Teriyaki Steak! My friend ordered the Hook, Line and Sinker which he thoroughly enjoyed. Not only did we enjoy Huggo's we also enjoyed their other two locations! Check them out and support the local business!"

"The atmosphere was inviting, location was great at the end of the Riverwalk and I had hopes but I was quite disappointed. I ordered a Ribeye steak and for a $40 steak, I expected much better. It had no seasoning and was just covered in mushroom gravy. It was cooked as I asked but with no flavor, it just didn 't appease to me. Also, it came with seasonal veggies and mashed potatoes. Both bland, no flavor. There was a party upstairs playing VERY loud music that was distracting. Our server (luckily can 't remember his name) greeted our table by telling us how busy he was and if we needed anything to just 'holler '. Very unprofessional and unwelcoming by far. We even had to ask for bread plates after he brought our bread out after sitting there for about 15 minutes. Food came in a reasonable amount of time as to be expected. My daughter had pasta and husband had Jambalaya. Both said their meal was just 'okay '. Expected much more from this location. Won 't be coming back."

"I made the reservation and noted it was for my birthday. When we arrived and said our reservation was made on Open Table for Jacki, they took us right back. I know it usually takes a min for most restaurants to check and mark it that we came and it didn’t seem like they did that. When I checked my email, it stated I did not show up for my reservation. I checked the box that I did show up. We arrived at 8:05 for an 8 pm reservation. Since it was my birthday, I was bummed that our table wasn’t as nice as I would have expected for a special occasion. It was very dim lighting and I had to use my flashlight on my phone to read the menu. A candle on The table would have been nice. Other tables had candles, just not our section. My boyfriends drink had dish bubbles in it and we asked for a manager and she brought out a new one. We asked our server to bring an extra shot of Makers 46 and she never brought it. Everyone was friendly. Just a little disappointed with some minor details. I would go back to give it another try."

"To start, I was blown away by the pork dumplings—some of the best I’ve ever had! They were so flavorful that I didn’t even need any dipping sauce, which was a pleasant surprise. Now, let's talk about the ramen. Honestly, it was incredibly good, featuring tender pork and a perfectly poached egg. I noticed it was slightly under-salted, but that was easily fixed with a sprinkle of salt; although, I opted for a hint of the somewhat spicy sauce the waitress recommended, which gave it just the right kick without being overwhelming. I must mention the service was excellent as well. The waitresses were friendly and attentive, and our food came out quickly. The young lady at my table suggested the mochi ice cream, and I chose the mango flavor. It was delicious, too good to describe, so I took a picture you can see with this review. Overall, this meal and the experience were fantastic, especially on a day that called for comforting food. I look forward to coming back for a bigger bowl of that delicious ramen!"

"We were in town visiting and stopped by one world to eat. I ordered the bacon swiss chicken sandwich. The chicken was undercooked and tasted like rubber. I asked to exchangeit for another entree, and then it took about 20 min for them to bring that out. They also charged me for the replacement meal even after the waitress acknowledged that the chicken was undercooked. Ive never left a bad review, bit it's ridiculous when your paying this much money to eat out. It was definitely overpriced for the quality of the food."

"overall a great experience with the exception that both the braut and fondue were out. we were disappointed, but instead had the guacamole and truffle friries. brand was our server and he was excellent. he offered us the riders on the house, as the restaurant from the apps we wanted was. he took care of us very well, not overlaid, but also attentively something that many restaurants of san diego lack. that was my second time here and I was very happy overall. please have the cheese extra on camp if you see my reservation on the book again lol!"

"A few days ago, I stumbled upon this restaurant while returning from an appointment. Since I'm still relatively new to the area, I thought it looked interesting and decided to check it out. The door was unlocked, and I almost pushed aside the barrier but hesitated. I later realized I may have been mistaken, but no one mentioned anything until they seated me. I felt a bit guilty and kept saying I would come back later, but they insisted I stay and eat since they were about to open and everything was ready for the morning. I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. In fact, everyone was incredibly friendly, laid-back, and welcoming, and the food was fantastic. It turned out to be a much-needed and appreciated positive experience. However, it might be helpful to clarify the hours of operation, as I felt a bit out of place walking in before they officially opened."

"It's taken me a bit to write this. I've been hearing about this place for sometime and finally made a reservation. I'm not a BBQ expert but my I laws live in Kansas City and my extended family lives in Texas. So I've been eating BBQ for some time including Memphis ribs.Some of us like this cut...don't judge. So BBQ I know. I was perplexed when I arrived for my reservation and found that there were no ribs on the menu? They had boneless ribs instead? Everyone knows that the bone makes the meat juicy. From chicken to rib eye to ribs. So when in Rome... we ordered the boneless ribs. I should have known that by glancing around no one ordered the ribs. That I was in for a treat The chared remains of meat came to the table and I thought ok bark tends to be a bit blackish but dig through this an find the juicy meat. But this was tough, dry and stringy. Even the sauces could save this piece of coal. Suffice to say severely disappointed and I can't and won't recommend. I'm hoping to give it another try because everyone deserves a second chance. But when I look back and I see what other tables ordered and no one had the boneless ribs...that should have been my signal to pay for my cocktails and head out."

"Six-Mile is the top dining choice on the west side of town. The main issue is consistency; you never know what to expect regarding service and food preparation from one visit to the next. On the bright side, the quality usually ranges from very good to just okay, but it’s never bad. We visited for my birthday. The good news is that they serve a decent martini. The downside is that it wasn’t ice-cold because it wasn’t shaken enough. The good news is that they offer great sides, like mashed cauliflower, but unfortunately, it arrived lukewarm. On the plus side, the desserts are enormous, but the bad news is that they seem to be pre-frozen, leading to varying degrees of freshness depending on when you order. You get the idea. On a positive note, the staff is friendly, and the ambiance is inviting. Plus, the wine specials on Wednesday nights are a lot of fun."

"We’re regulars at Bluegold because we like the food. Have lunch there on weekends a few times a month. Service has generally been ok. Last experience was offensive. They’ve always been pricey. $25 small pizzas, and Prosecco in the $70’s for quality you can get elsewhere for $40-45 but the view and food have justified the premium. Last experience makes us question whether we’ll go back. They said they were out of Prosecco so they substituted a $95 alternative that wasn’t as good as the Prosecco. Not acceptable!!!"

"Looks the same -food was alrite Will have to try the ribs next time. I had chix sal (I'll give it a 10 out of ten) guest had a steak n shrimp, he gave it a 5 and not because anything was wrong with the steak or shrimp but because he ordered a baked potato with the meal and it was hard as in not baked all the way. He had the potato returned back to the kitchen and it was brought back out hard AGain REALLY! Waitress comes by and asked if everything was alright and we told her the potato was hard, she said well the whole batch must be that way (it was the same potato) she never takes it back they never bother to get us a f:in cooked potato. Spent 61.00 on our meals ????? Was really thinking about not tipping but I believe the waiter and Waitress were trying, I mean like we had to ask a few times for our drinks, we had to ask for silver ware after the food was severed but they did keep asking if everything was alright, like they really were trying to be good hosts so maybe they were new and didn't realize when you order a 39.00 dollar meal and specifically ask for a baked potato w/real batter THATS what you want."

"Once again, an outstanding meal at Robert’s. It was a nice quiet lunch, and Audrey took great care of our table like she always does. It was also nice to spend some time talking with Robert about the business, and all the specialty pizzas that they serve. We had meatballs as an appetizer, plus a tremendous Mediterranean salad, and a wonderful “Rita” pizza. This is the place to go for good quality dining and tremendous taste. Don’t forget to get the apple pie dessert too. Truly sublime!"
