"We stumbled upon this wonderful little diner because the Taco place we were looking for was closed for relocation. We arrived at around 5pm on NYE. Jess was behind the bar, and we loved her! She was friendly, professional and pleasant, despite having to work on New Year's Eve. We had a few drinks (happy hour has GREAT drink specials) while waiting for our take out. We even stayed for an extra drink after our food arrived.I ordered the Dagwood sandwich with the special sauce. Absolutely fantastic. So much meat I couldn't fit it my mouth. The best 12 bucks I have spent in a long, long time.If you're heading into Ocean City, you HAVE to stop into this place. You will not regret it"

"I was here in happy hour. they had half-priced apps. I ordered 10 wings for $7.50 and an unwet tee. the tee was freshly brewed and refreshing. I have 1/2 old bay and 1/2 dill pickle seasoned wings. they were a good size and the old bay was in order, but the dill had not tasted much. it came with a pickle. as a pickle lover I hoped a little more taste, but I dived my wings into the ranch and they were in order. we sat on the deck and it was absolutely beautiful. we could hear the live music. bathroom was super clean. I would definitely go back if I were back in the opposite."

"We had made reservations for this restaurant on a Saturday night, which is usually difficult to secure a table. However, upon arriving and speaking with the hostess, she informed us that they do not actually accept reservations. We mentioned that we had made the reservation through the OpenTable app, but she seemed unfamiliar with it. The hostess promised to seat us as soon as possible. As we waited, we spoke with other groups who also claimed to have reservations and had been waiting for over 45 minutes. It became clear that reservation times were not being honored. Additionally, the restaurant was extremely loud and crowded, making it difficult to hear any conversation."

"Years ago Greene Turtle’s food and service were excellent. They offered deals during the weekday at slow times to drive in more customers. However, the past few times I ordered from Greene Turtle I was left disappointed. I live close by yet every time I order take out the food takes longer than expected to be ready (at least an extra 10 15 minute wait) and then it’s still somehow cold. This is shocking because every time I pick up food the restaurant is dead, which shows that everyone else is seeing what I’m seeing. The quality of the food itself gets worse each time I order. The most common item I get is the 7 piece boneless barbecue wings. What’s hilarious is the price per wing goes up if you order 10 pieces. Make it make sense. The wings are overpriced especially for the size of them. If you look at the photo you’ll notice the side cup for dipping is bigger than the wing itself. Also don’t order through delivery service because they increase the price per item. Also the cookie lava cake comes frozen like a rock, I would know because one time they forgot to heat it up before delivering it to me. The sad reality of most restaurants is that prices increase while quality decreases. Don’t believe the reviews. A lot of businesses pay for third party Google reviews to increase their ratings. It’s not that good nor famous."

"We enjoyed the guacamole and salsa. The medium guacamole and it was fairly spicy. Each person ordered a different kind of enchiladas and tacos and then we traded around so that everyone could try several kinds. We were severed quickly which would be good for people who have an evening engagement. Our only complaint was that it was quick noisy which made it difficult to hear each other at our table."

"It has been a few years since we last dined at this restaurant. The menu has become more limited and seems to have shifted from fine dining to more casual pub fare. The strip steak I ordered was decent, cooked to perfection at medium rare, but nothing extraordinary. The brats and mashed potatoes left something to be desired in terms of presentation; the dish was lacking in color and visual appeal. The bratwurst reminded me of a hot dog, though the mashed potatoes and sauerkraut were tasty. The ambiance of the restaurant is still pleasant. It was too chilly for patio seating during our visit, but I’ve always enjoyed it there in the past."

"Went on a Wednesday or Thursday night. Nothing tasted fresh. Bit into the mozzarella sticks and it wasn't steamy or melty. All the food, except the fries, was just warm. The Korean Salmon Bowl rice was dry, and the broccoli was soft. My friend ordered a chicken sandwich and he didn't even finish half. "This was hands down the worst cheesesteak I’ve ever had in my life, and I genuinely wish I was joking. It reminded me of something from a middle school cafeteria. I admit, I made the mistake of ordering a cheesesteak at a place that's likely more famous for their bar food, but I can't wrap my head around how anyone could mess up a cheesesteak. There was literally no seasoning at all, and while the cheese was somewhat decent, it's a stretch to even call it a redeeming quality. I’m incredibly disappointed and completely uninspired by this dish. It was an absolute disaster. On a positive note, I won’t fault the customer service; both the server and the hostess were very friendly, but I just can't get past the terrible meal I had."

You either call and place your order in advance (recommended) or in principle you can just show up and wait in your car/next door gas station or in their outside seating area until your order is ready. Maryland Crab Soup Cream of Crab Soup Crab Cake Platter Broiled Scallop Platter It 's pretty hard to bang on anything here. I mean sure I could nitpick over a few technical flaws like the size of the crab cakes being a bit on the small side or the consistency of the corn bread being very sticky but overall, the food is excellent in terms of the quality and in the preparation. The pricing here is definitely on the steep side but, it 's also very, very good. No brainer next time we 're back in the OCMD area."

"We've never had a stellar experience at the Greene Turtle. While the food is decent and the staff is friendly, everything feels somewhat insincere. It seems like they believe they're the best and don’t need to put in much effort. The truth is, they were never actually the best—just the most popular, and that peak popularity was back in the late 90s. Fast-forward to today, and it feels like the same crowd from high school is still hanging out, playing on the same pool table they've been using at The Turtle for over 20 years. The only noteworthy addition to the menu is the Beyond Burger meat substitute. The Greene Turtle feels like the Prom King and Queen—once popular but now merely a nostalgic memory."

"Rod N Reel may be suffering from much of what’s going on with turn-over as a result of pandemic and supply issues. Usually I have a great time, dinner great, but this instance several new servers, who routinely forgot requests you made. The food portions were very small, for the Mariner’s Platter only received piece of flounder (small and wasn’t cooked as requested, the took back to kitchen to re-fry and it came out crispy as desired but the flavor was certainly off) small portions: Scallops, and Oysters. And we paid over for that dinner. Breakfast was worse, bacon was good, grits good, but the eggs were terrible we didn’t eat them, they appeared to be box ready make eggs. They definitely have declined since my last visit in August I can’t recommend this restaurant until they turn things around big time."

"I was very disappointed with the Loaded Tater Tots. Given the price, I expected more than just a small order with barely any cheese sauce. On a positive note, the desserts – Turtle Cheesecake, Cookie Lava Sundae, and Chocolate Chunk Cookie – were enjoyable. However, the Kids Slider Duo was dry and overcooked, and my child didn't like them at all. My husband thought the Carne Asada Quesadilla and Mozzarella Sticks were just okay. Overall, it was a letdown considering the amount we spent."

"This was the worst meal we've ever received from DoorDash. We used to live in Salisbury, MD, and Green Turtle was our favorite restaurant. Having recently moved to Odenton, we were eager to enjoy a meal there again. Unfortunately, the food was completely inedible. The Chesapeake Burger resembled a hockey puck, and the "crab dip" on top was mostly cream cheese with little to no crab. To make matters worse, the Chesapeake Burger, which cost over $22, was supposed to come with fries but only included six tiny fries. The Loaded Tater Tots were just as disappointing. It was a huge waste of money and incredibly frustrating."

"Overall, the experience in this restaurant was pleasant. The service was amazing, the restaurant area was great, the rooftop was splendid, but my only issue was the food. The food quality you can tell it wasn't fresh, you can tell the food was in frozen and came from a box. The chicken tenders that we ordered were horrible and also the wings were kind of iffy OK. "an amazing space in a highly renovated classic baltimore bank building, one of the few surviving structures in the city center that introduces the great fire of 1904. the food and drink keep up to the decoration, but in you we immediately enter from the raised cover and the huge tiffany dome, the 2nd largest of the world are taken. the whole building merges new and old into aesthetically pleasing wise eating? our little tellers were delicious. the bar program is excellent and the barkeeper is knowledgeable. the long bar is a beautiful note and a more casual place to dine (in the rule they find me at the bar.) there's many wee through the glass, but especially for fine eating I was pleasantly pleased to see several affordable options (glasses under $10.)"

"I ordered from here on Door Dash on a Friday night. When I received my order, the first thing I thought was This sandwich is HUGE, how am I going to finish it? . However, I ate it in two sittings; dinner and lunch the next day. The sandwich was amazing. That herb aoili deserves a prize, I swear! It literally tastes like pesto mayo had a genius baby. I would buy that aoili if they packaged it and sold it. The turkey was also flavorful the deli packed a lot of it into the sandwich. I can honestly say that this has been my favorite turkey club sandwich ever. I love that they gave us two big pickles slices as well. The only thing that would make this place better is French fries to go with the sandwiches...but I understand that it 's a deli, not a burger joint."
