"Upon entering, I placed a to-go order. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped me navigate the extensive menu, which offered a wide variety of meats and sides. I opted for the Sampler, which includes three meats, two sides, and Texas Toast.
I chose pulled pork, brisket, and ribs, and I couldn’t have made a better decision. Although the photo doesn't capture all the food, the portions were generous. The meat on the ribs practically fell off the bone, the pulled pork was tender and easy to shred, and the brisket had no gristle at all. Next time, I might have a hard time deciding which meat to choose, and I may just get them all again!
The broccoli was fantastic—fresh and lightly charred, making it the perfect side. However, I found the collard greens to be a bit bland for my taste. The menu describes their flavor as subtle, which I can agree with. I prefer my collards to have a kick of vinegar, heat, and meat, so I’d likely add some sauce to enhance the flavor.
