"Last night I was feeling hungry and was on on my way to try out Fevzi's Mediterranean Grill in Cherry Hill but decided to try out Whole Hog Cafe instead. I love BBQ food so I figured why not. In comparison to other BBQ restaurants in the area, I thought they were fairly decent. I spent around $17 for a 2 meat platter that came with 2 sides as well and cornbread. I picked sliced brisket (which was tender and juicy and ribs (they were very small portion size . For the sides, I picked mac and cheese and collard greens. The collard greens were very bland in flavor and tasted like they were cooked in chicken broth and nothing more. I had to doctor the collard greens to eat them and the mac and cheese was soupy and I ended up not eating them. If you are looking for baked mac and cheese, this is not the place to get them. Their mac and cheese was also bland. Now I love cornbread, but I was disappointed with their cornbread. It was mushy and a little gritty in texture. Overall, I was not pleased with the sides at all. The brisket was the winner for me personally. I also liked that they serve 6 different types of bbq sauces: classic mild, tangy slight spicy, tangy spicy, southern vinegar spice, sweet bold, and Rich mustard vinegar. I tried all of the sauces except for sweet bold because they ran out. My 2 faves were the tangy slight spicy and tangy spicy sauces. I give this place a 5 out of 10 and that was because of the brisket. I may return in the future to try other items such as their burnt ends (which was sold out yesterday and other sides. This place is just ok, nothing to write home about. I have had way better BBQ food in the area before."

Delicious BBQ. I always get the brisket and have had the chopped and Sliced, both great. Ribs are super also. Enjoy the side dishes too. Eventually I'll try else on the menu.

On a cool day looking for some great BBQ. This place was just what I needed. Great food and welcoming environment. Staff was pleasant and gave great recommendations. Get the burnt ends delicious. Savory and try the sauces. Definitely will be back.

the food was good. the pulled boar was a little dryer than I would like, but it wasn't bad. the briskete was however smokey and very tasty. the sides were also very good. the hornbread was okay. overall the service was fast and very friendly. no bad little restaurant to stop. View menu

tonight for the first time here. I thought it was good to eat, they were very welcome. his byob so additional points tried everything with the ultimate plate. all meats were delicate and well flavored. the fries were crispy and the coleslaw and cornbread were really good. my only complicity would be that the mac and the cheese could have been a bit dirty and eating warmer. after they offered them the next time. I will visit again

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The place was spotless, and the food was delicious with beautiful presentation. The portion sizes were generous, which is a nice change from many so-called BBQ spots. Even though I live about an hour away, I definitely plan to come back. I particularly enjoyed the brisket, which was perfectly smoked and didn't require much sauce. I tried all the sauces, and the classic BBQ sauce was my favorite. The other five sauces were also quite good!
