"The J Bar has a very nice indoor area that I did not spend any time at, and has a very lovely patio area on their second floor. The view is to the east, so you do get cheated out of a sunset, but that’s OK. The menu is not outstanding, but the food is a very fair value and pretty good quality. Kayla was the only server working the patio, and while there was one other person tending bar, she was HUSTLING. My wife and I enjoyed a couple of drinks and then enjoyed a couple of burgers, all on a delightful 75° evening. If you’re looking for an outstanding menu, then you likely are not going to find it here, but that’s OK. What you do find is a nice space, with plenty of distancing, and very friendly staff."

"Carolina nachos with smoked chicken were ok- chicken was pretty sparse and all toppings were pretty sparse. Chips were overly salty, could not eat very many. French onion soup was alright but pretty watery and not much cheese on top. Fish tacos were pretty good. Cocktails were good. Noise level of this place was super loud- had to should across table at my date. You can see through to the kitchen and servers stations and the floors were filthy- this made my meal a bit unappetizing. If they keep the visible areas that dirty, you have to wonder what the non-visible cooking areas are like.... also, it is definitely a very casual restaurant with much emphasis on the SPORTS bar ambience and decor, despite the more upscale look on the outside of the building. I don’t know if I’ll be back, with all the better restaurant options in the area."

"2022.06 19/SUN_noon: Food server/Nessa Our experience was excellent from the time we went to the time we went. The staff was unbelievable and I love their uniforms. What I loved in this place was the ambience. It was really a great feeling on foot and the excellent hospitality. Nessa was absolutely fabulous! She had really great suggestions! She was dead! I felt like I was back home in one of my favorite location things. That would be my favorite place for sports, because for every corner of the restaurant there was a TV you can see! We can't wait until we get back. It will be on the agenda every time we visit Grandma! We took Grandma! She even ordered a Painkiller cocktail (proposed by our beautiful, no Rockin' server) that was really a doozy! We started with the Hive House Disco Frittes. This is a bunch of frits, roasted cheese curds, bacon crumbs, parmesan cheese with Sriacha Aioli. Holy Moly, it was delicious. The cheese did it for me! Flame explosion! Just great comfort food. We ordered the chicken sandwich, the fish and chips and the Cheezilla Burger. Each duck has been carefully assembled and presented. The portions are great! Everything was piled up. You have leftovers when you order an appetizer! You must be hungry! The Entrees are inexplicable! You should see my photos. All the ducks were just beautiful. They were delicious. The fish chips were fantastic. I swear they took all the fish out! So juicy and juicy with not much bread. It wasn't fat and dense! Looks foolish! It was light on the belly. What your socks will knock off is the malt vinegar-based diving sauce and I LOVE that it's the chips with malt vinegar, that's my favorite touch that has been added to the whole duck. But the white malt vinegar house diving sauce will pack that awesome **** and it compliments the fish! Wowsers! The Cheezilla Burger was another favorite! The burger was very juicy. What you will get is the presentation. It is served with roasted cheese! You heard me right! It had a blanket of fried cheese on it!! It was absolutely delicious. As I said, it's super juicy!! If you are looking for a place to wind after work or take the family for dinner for some good scare, and be surrounded by awesome people, this is the place to be! "Where do I begin. Been sitting on this one for 2 days. Well our server seem to be so lost. She was just wondering around while a different server got us drinks. We ordered a appetizer and you could see it in the window and it sat so long under the light it looked horrible so we sent it back. You could see her take it to the server station and eat it who knows. Then 20 minutes later still no food or water. My husband and I never spend much time together so our date night was ruined. He is a police officer I am in medicine so our time together is far and in between"
