"Carolina nachos with smoked chicken were ok- chicken was pretty sparse and all toppings were pretty sparse. Chips were overly salty, could not eat very many. French onion soup was alright but pretty watery and not much cheese on top. Fish tacos were pretty good. Cocktails were good. Noise level of this place was super loud- had to should across table at my date. You can see through to the kitchen and servers stations and the floors were filthy- this made my meal a bit unappetizing. If they keep the visible areas that dirty, you have to wonder what the non-visible cooking areas are like.... also, it is definitely a very casual restaurant with much emphasis on the SPORTS bar ambience and decor, despite the more upscale look on the outside of the building. I don’t know if I’ll be back, with all the better restaurant options in the area."

Ribs were pretty good. The chicken was just OK. Nothing too fancy here

Very good bar type food. Sandwiches and tacos were great and fresh with large portions. Very tasty.

I wouldn’t go again. The burger tasted weird and the peach cobbler dessert was so awful they took it off our bill.

Very nice layout and plenty of Tv's. Cheese curds n fried pickles were tasty. Service and choice of beers outstanding. View menu

We enjoyed our meals, but my wife thought her salad should have been just a little larger. Having said that, her liked her salad. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was excellent and it was not very loud for a sports bar! We would go back.

First time at Carolina Ale and it did not disappoint. We had a large group (12) and made a reservation weeks in advance. It was sophomore CCU students and their parents and it was a wonderful time. Our server, Tyler, was wonderful! Accommodating and graciously did 8 separate checks. Loved his enthusiasm.

service was good, but eating was terrible. we ordered nachos with pulled pork, very little cheese, small spoon of guacamole and pulled pork was cold and hard to chew. then I ordered cingers with fries and the cingers were literally drowning in too much sauce and the fries were cold. the first and last time to eat here. We were at this restaurant a few months back with a group and when we were back in Myrtle Beach, asked my brother and his family to join us. Had a great time! Had a reservation (which was a good thing since there was a line out the door and quite a wait). The booth we were seated in had the cold air blowing on us, but when we told the server, he immediately told the manager and she moved us with no issues. Food was once again delicious and love the variety. Will be back on our next visit!

We loved being able to make a reservation here for a busy Friday night in the summer so that my family of 6 didn't have to wait forever for a table. Lexi our server was great, the menu was extensive so everyone found something they liked, and the food was delicious. The nachos were a huge hit and a great app to share. The Pub Burger was incredible with all the toppings and special sauce. The Reuben was also a terrific sandwich and perfectly made. We enjoyed both the pub fries and the sweet potato (waffle) fries. The strawberry salad was fresh and filling. The kids all enjoyed their food as well. My only gripe is how expensive the wings were. It was $15 for 12 wings... more than $1 per wing!...
